My experience with Bruce's Tire was wonderful. I called around noon to see if my particular run flat tire was in stock. I was assisted by Gabriel (I believe) who was very pleasant. He informed me that the tire could be delivered by 2 pm that same day, but I opted to wait until the next morning at 8am. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a friendly yet professional manner. I opted to wait in their waiting area (the seat looked to be made out of faux tires -cute). While waiting, I noticed they had a financing option through snap if you need it. This company is a Rip Off I Had called the day before and spoke with Gabriel. I told him make, model, yr Eng. Size.of my car. He quoted me $69.00 for an oil change for my car and said to bring it in . In addition he said that I would get $15.00 off with coupons bringing down the Total to $54.00.I went there the next day and the service representative there told me it would cost me $ 152.00. He also said I didn't have an appointment when I have a phone confirmation that I booked an appointment. THEY ARE COMPLETELY DISHONEST. This review is long overdue! I work down the street, and my tire popped on the freeway right before the Hegenberger exit. I pulled up to this location since it was the closest. When I arrived, I asked if they could put my spare on because I didn't have the funds for a new tire that day, and they were able to help me out right away. On both occasions I've been here, the staff has been super nice and friendly. On one occasion, I went to get a nail removed and my tire plugged and they instantly began working on my vehicle. There was some miscommunication, it could have caused some problems but it turned out well in the end for me and not worth the review I left them. I've been driving around on my spare for the last week dreading coming to an auto shop to wait for the tire to get fixed. Stopped in Friday morning around 8:30 with no appointment. I was quoted 45min and $35 for my repair. They finished in under 45 min and the repair cost less than quoted. Would have fixed my tire sooner if I knew it was this easy. Way overpriced! They replaced an extra 2 tires claiming they were worn. They had plenty of wear left (passes the penny test easily). The estimate didn't add up when I added each item by calculator. I had to call to clarify and get the correct subtotal before service. Next they replaced a TPMS system at $80. I called around and other shops do it for around $20-$30. Do you homework before you go so you don't get ripped off. Also check your invoice car Edit: thanks for the response. No I checked and the inner edge and entire tire had enough tread life. I just didn't want to argue with my father in law on the phone but he was definitely taken advantage of. It was $20-30 for the parts it would be more including labor (but likely not $100 for labor). I added everything. I rechecked the invoice and recalculated 3-4 times because I could not believe it didn't add up. I don't want to waste any more time calling you. I cannot thank this gentleman enough! Almost 7am... had already been told Toyota Service center would keep my car for more than 4 hours. Went in with a tire leaking air, no wait, took care of it on the spot. However cost for a plug just because its a Tesla was a bit pricey. Tire was not even removed. Not sure how different a plug is in that sense...same labor to me. Anyhow, the guys were nice and got it done quick and without issues. Make sure you have your own jack pads for you Tesla owners. I've taken my car here a few times and always had a great experience. Twice I picked up a nail in a tire, and they were able to patch it quickly and for a very reasonable price. Another time, I popped a tire on a curb. I put on my spare, called them from home, and they were able to order the right size tire by the next morning. They also gave me an honest assessment of my brakes, as I'd been hearing different things from different sources about whether they needed to be replaced or not.
