Mary and I stopped in here for the first time; this is a very new business; everything is shiny and new. Mary ordered the Gobbler, shredded turkey breast, cranberry sauce, whipped cream cheese and lettuce; everything was fresh and tasty, Mary thought it could have used a little more turkey on it. I had the Steak Classic, thinly sliced steak, onions, white American cheese and mayo; this was a delicious sandwich. You should get in here and give this place a try.

This store opened a week ago and is very nice. They have EV charging stations (not that I will need one lol). I got the Meat Lovers Cheesesteak and it was a bit salty but not bad tasting. My husband had the Club Sub and he said it was good. The location is good and there is plenty of parking. The service was fast and cashier was nice.

    Small Sammy for $9

Went in and they were pretty slow for lunch. Ordered two classic chicken Sammies. The taste was ok but definitely hard to justify the cost. Half a sandwich for $9 and the bread was a little wider than my thumb. Very small. I don't have large hands either lol. I can make a better Philly at home anyway. The chicken was a little rubbery. Not sure what was going on there.

Smarter and less offensive, would to give a 3% discount for cash. Waitress was friendly, but someone misinformed her about how credit card charges for the food establishments work. She offered a strange and unrealistic reason they HAD to put 2 prices on the menu. Good waitress, otherwise. And really, not her fault she was told this garbage. If it were true, every place that accepted visa would have to do it. We travel all over the US and world and rarely see 2 charges on menus. The atmosphere of the bar is sports bar-like. It would be a good place to watch the game. A lot of beer, a few items of hard liquor. No scotch.

The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

While this place was a little farther alway from downtown than we were seeking, it checked all our boxes. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, a cheese burger, tacos and potato skins. Sides included tots and fries. Drinks were water, iced tea and a Pepsi. Our server was very friendly and handled our order like a pro. The food came quickly and looked good. Taste was equally excellent. My only comments: I was changed 50 cents to add pickles to my sandwich (who does that?) and the potato skins seemed overpriced for what we got. Not a complaint, just my opinions.

My order arrived quickly for as busy as they were. The fries were nothing special, just shoe strings with salt. Meh. The burger arrived open faced and made for really good presentation with the sunny side up egg on top. The patties were nice and juicy with good beefy flavor. But the egg was kind of unnoticeable and completely overpowered by the red onion and thick slices of pickle. Yoke was runny but not too runny to where it all ran out on the first bite. Rather it mostly stayed in the burger. This was the most expensive burger on their menu. Next time I will go for the Bleu Cheese Burger, which is my usual go-to.

Hangry's is in my pasture--my neck of the woods--and because of that, I want it to win. When Hangry's first opened, I remember lifting my head from the grass and thinking, Now that's something different. A small, independent burger stop with real personality. Not a franchise. Not a copy-and-paste joint. Real food, real effort, real care. Burgers with heft. Flavors with backbone. Portions that didn't insult a full-grown cow like myself. There was pride in the grill and warmth behind the counter. You could feel it. That's why this is hard to chew on. The food is still good. Let me be clear--I'm not saying it's bad. But the spark has dulled. The uniqueness that once set Hangry's apart has lost some of its flavor. The service doesn't carry the same energy it once did. There's a tension in the air now, a kind of hangry mood that doesn't come from hunger, but from strain. It feels less like a place excited to serve, and more like a place trying to survive. And that worries me. Because I don't want Hangry's to become just another Zip's. Another forgettable stop where burgers are churned out without soul. This place was never meant to be that. It was meant to be a friendly, fun, neighborhood joint--high quality, generous portions, bold flavor, and people who cared deeply about what they put on the plate and how they handed it across the counter. I know running a business is hard. Even a cow understands that. Starting strong is one thing; staying sharp is another. Motivation fades. Criticism piles up. The grind wears you down. But the answer isn't to lower the bar--it's to return to the basics. To remember who you were when you started. To cook like you still have something to prove. To serve like every customer matters, because they do. Hangry's doesn't need to reinvent itself. It needs to refocus. Quality first. Pride back in the process. Fresh eyes on the food. Confidence instead of survival mode. If that happens, this place won't just hang on--it will thrive. This bull is rooting for you. You're in my pasture, and I want you here for a long time. Get back to your roots, sharpen your edge, and remind us why we noticed you in the first place. This cow is all in.

I was in absolutely no mood for Olive garden but thought Spokane might have some nice country fried steak. Did a quick Google search and this place came up. The steak portion size was super generous and it was covered with gravy. I cleaned up my plate. This dish was perfect. I got the eggs, biscuit and slaw ( did some subs) and they didn't disappoint as well. This is a small, probably family managed place. Don't expect anything fancy and all that jazz. Come here if you want some good chicken fried steak. They also had a bunch of burger options.
