I had not been to Bruegger's for over 10 years but was in the neighborhood and stopped. Still making the best bagels!

Well it pains me to say this but Bruegger's is no longer worth going to. Over priced, below par quality, aggressive unpleasant leadership. First off, $3.59 for a tiny simply lemonade is ridiculous. Truly unbelievable. But that's only where it begins. The person who took the order doesn't speak English so my order was submitted wrong. Why would you hire someone who isn't fluent in English to take orders? Then the manager was unpleasantly aggressive towards the chef who was trying to make things right. But not before giving me a dirty look for having to ask the non-English speaking staff to repeat herself as well as telling her I can't understand what she was trying to say. Chef remade my sandwich as I wanted but between the price gouging unpleasant managerial aggression and non English speaking staff submitting orders wrong. I'm out. read more

The last 3 times I've been here, I always ask for extra cream cheese. I verbally stated " put a disgusting amount of cream cheese on there" even the worker yelled over and said " 2 full red scoops on these". They charge you extra for it and don't put extra cream cheese. I will provide a picture. If I didn't ask for "extra" would they even put cream cheese on the bagel at all? Pathetic. 3 times in a row. robbed of my money. And I will include another picture of an everything bagel, plain cream cheese, extra cream cheese. Used to love Bruegger's and go at least a couple of times per month. Just isn't the same - in quality or preparation. Ordered a bakers dozen with cream cheese along with an Herby Turkey. Ordered 4 kinds of bagels, got one kind I wanted and the other three were substitutes. Fine, they were low on bagels. Asked for bagels to be unsliced - all were sliced. Got home to eat the Herby Turkey - regular tomatoes instead of sundried tomato spread. The final kicker, one of the tubs of cream cheese was the Herb Garlic. Put some on a bagel slice, then noticed mold on the cream cheese. The expiration was for October 8, so it makes me think something is wrong with their refrigeration. Bummer when spending almost $30. After posting I checked the second tub of cream cheese. Mold on that as well. Tried calling the store but no one answered. read more

Issac was on the food prep line and he greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. He was surprised I'd never been here before and enthusiastically offered they could do any bagel, any combination I wanted. They have picture boards showing amazing combos so I went with the double stack bacon, egg and cheese repeat and added jalapeño cream cheese. Delicious! I left very sated but it was the service and welcoming energy of Issac that put a smile on my day! read more

I love this place! Pictured is a honey siracha bagel with no bacon and added smoked salmon! The employees were asking me to come back and give a review because they hadn't seen this combo before, and let me tell you, it was amazing! However, My mom tried to order it a different time and they were not the nicest when she wanted to fully customize so i'm not sure. I am not the biggest breakfast person, but this is a 10/10 breakfast for sure! I will be back! Very disappointing the last three times. Person in the drive through is always rude and always seem to say "the system requires a tip would you like $1 $2 $5". This last time I got the sriracha honey sunrise.. bagel looked like a mini bagel that wasn't cooked all the way. Girlfriend wanted a Asiago bagel with egg and cheese only, hers had those and a greasy dripping wet sausage patty on it. Place keeps getting worse and worse not sure I'll ever be back. The customer service from the beginning to the end of the line is still very disappointing. They up charged me for avocados adding it twice to my ticket. They don't have a specific option for adding bacon during build your own bagel so I'm not sure what BLT Deli is so is that an up charge too? read more

Yummy bagel, the staff could use a little training. They both ignored me till I stepped forward and said, "Do I need to do something different [to order]?" She jerked her head at the counter further down. I ordered the wrong thing, and she sighed in exasperation when I said, n,o wait, I meant this. Is it a crime to order the wrong thing and change your mind? It's just a computer. She may have been having a bad day. I work 100% customer-facing myself and know it can be frustrating, but really? We haven't had good bagels for a while, so we stop by Bruegger's bagels for lunch. We ordered the smoked salmon bagels which was quickly made and we were on our way. Service was quick, as they were no other customers in the bakery. Smoked salmon bagel was tasty, and was fresh. Very satisfying. It contains smoked salmon, tomatoes, onions, capers, and of course cream cheese. read more

I have never seen such unprecedented. The black gentleman who took me and my teenage daughters order. He was nice at first when he introduced himself as Mr Corey. I handed him $60 to give to him to share with everyone. I just watched him pocket it. Next thing I seen him pocket change after collecting payment from other customers out of the cash register. Also I've noticed a lot of eating at the counter without any handwashing. Our orders were wrong and got charged extra for a bagel and extra sandwich I didn't order. So, I went to this Mexican lady at the sandwich line and explained it. She felt so terrible for the mishaps and apologize for the mistakes. She remade our food and gave us vouchers when she clearly had a full screen of orders, but she went above and beyond to take care of us. We didn't get a chance to get her name, but she was really nice and helpful. read more

Wow, I work right next to Bruegger's but kinda forget it's there and haven't been there in a long while. Today I rectified that by walking over and grabbing some blueberry bagels with a tub of honey walnut cream cheese for the weekend and a their classic Herby Turkey sandwich on an asiago parmesan bagel for my lunch today. The staff seemed energized and greeted me upon arrival and took my order right away. They worked together to get my order ready quickly and I was on my way again in no time. I ate my sandwich at my desk and everything was fresh with plenty of turkey and cream cheese. The sundried tomato spread really makes it on that sandwich. I won't wait so long next time to return. We had very good breakfast sandwiches at Bruegger's Bagels on Dodge recently. We were looking for something quick and not crowded, and Bruggers fit the bill perfectly. The only downside was they are not having people use their dining room right now, so it was takeaway only. Bookguy ordered the Western which had an egg, bacon, cheddar cheese, bell peppers and red onion on an everything bagel. He liked it so much that he would definitely get it again. He also ordered a couple of toasted plain bagels with strawberry cream cheese. He wished there was more cream cheese. I sampled part of one and decided I would prefer plain cream cheese to strawberry, but that's just me. I ordered the egg, sausage, and cheese on a bagel topped with cheesy hash browns. I had to make sure I ate it with the hashbrowns facing up so they wouldn't fall off. I thought my selection was very good and I would get it again. I also had coffee, which was pretty good too. Bagels in Omaha? Surprisingly hard to come by! I finally gave this place a shot, and I thought it did a fine job to fill my bagel craving. It's a chain, and not overly fancy, but a simple bagel is sometimes all I want. They carry about 20 different kinds of bagels on any given morning...I really enjoyed the Asiago bagel, as well as the Sun-dried Tomato Bagel. The cream cheese I bought wasn't the whipped variety, which is my preference, but they may have it if requested, unfortunately I didn't ask. The bagels aren't overly large, it definitely took 2 for me to be filled, but I wasn't mad about it. Good seating options, Caribou coffee available and plenty of options outside of bagels (sandwiches, snacks, etc), but a fine place if you're seeking a place to grab a bagel and coffee, or a dozen bagels on your way into work. read more

I always resort to Bruegger's for consistent and quick breakfast service on the go. I personally cannot eat here due to being gluten free, however, my family truly loves their bagels and cream cheese. They especially liked the smoked salmon bagel or a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The coffee is free if you order on the app, as well. I've been to this location a couple times now. I usually feel pretty rushed by the employees trying to order, even if there isn't anyone behind me. Today there happened to be someone behind me. I was ordering a sandwich for my friend and a bagel for myself. The man behind the counter asked me if I was getting both a sandwich and a bagel, which I replied yes to. Probably just a clarifying question but I felt he was trying to get me order without actually hearing what I was saying. Anyways I got home and my cream cheese was wrong. Not the end of the world, I just would prefer not to chew through veggies while eating my bagel. Visited Bruegger's for the first time, and we liked it. I I ordered the sriracha honey sandwich on a five cheese bagel, it was delicious! The bagels are made fresh on site, and there's a window you can look through to watch them being baked while you order your food. Ingredients on the bagels were freshly made- no frozen eggs or veggies here! Constructive feedback- I do think this bagel joint could use a remodel, but also a better system for ordering and presentation. I think this would elevate it a lot. The bagel sandwiches are given to you in a brown paper bag, wrapped in brown paper, and there is no labeling on your sandwich. There isn't a sticker on your bag either so after your food is given to you, you have to tell the cashier everything you just ordered and the specifications, and then pay. They also don't collect your name, so just be extra sure when they hand you a bag, open it and check everything before you leave. Obviously, it's not a big deal. But like every other restaurant, i think they could modernize. read more

I love this place! Great atmosphere to study or catch up with a friend over lunch or a mid afternoon snack. Their bagels and cream cheese are AMAZING and a great price too! My go tos are the honey grain bagel with honey walnut cream cheese or the plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Not to mention the amazing sandwiches they have. Wether you're in the mood for a deluxe breakfast sandwich or a stacked deli sandwich on a bagel this is the spot! I always find the staff at this location to be pretty friendly and helpful as well. So when I moved back to the Midwest, this was one of the first places I went. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Although a chain, there are not a lot of bagel shop options in Omaha-and of the few we have- few can compete with breuggers. This is because they have a wide variety of bagels, cream cheese spreads, and breakfast and lunch sandwich options. They also have soup and salad but I have never tried these menu items. When toasted the bagels have a flakey and crunchy crust that really delights, and they give ample (even too much for me) cream cheese spread.
