First restaurant when we arrived at Daytona Beach. So we were pretty hungry. From the images posted online, it's pretty much it. Cute-retro generational owned diner. Simple but tasty. Even my picky eater daughter love their plain chicken wings and 8 pieces wasn't enough. Don't expect a perfect service but they will get things right away if something is missing. Looks like the kids in the family are helping out for the summer.

Very nice little diner that just opened. We went there for breakfast. I had eggs Benedict with grits and the wife had. A Jr French toast with grits. It was very good. The service was as well. Very friendly and helpful. This place is in the Castaways condo on the beach. They have inside seating and a patio where dogs are allowed. Nice view too. Comfy booths make sitting there a pleasure.

Imagine walking into a restaurant, hungry and ready to order, and being told you can't eat there -- not because you don't have a reservation, not because the kitchen is closed -- but because you have a service dog. That's exactly what happened to me here. My dog is quiet, calm, and trained to do her job. We've been in restaurants all over without a single issue. But the waitress told me, "Sorry, the owner doesn't allow service animals." She even added, "This happened to someone else the other day." So this isn't a mistake. This is an owner choosing to turn away people with disabilities, over and over again. I left frustrated, and honestly stunned that in 2025, this is still how some businesses operate. If you care about kindness, or just following basic decency, skip this place. Good food will never make up for bad character.

Amazing food, the staff are very sweet and personable. Very clean and absolutely love the atmosphere and vibe they bring with the 70s like decor and classic rock music thats not too loud to talk over.

Taste: 4/5 Value: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 This spot is super cute inside, feels like stepping back into a '50s diner. Lots Betty Boop memorabilia everywhere and you can even get a view of the ocean. Food's decent, nothing to rave about but it'll do the trick. Prices are overall reasonable, but I don't appreciate that they slap on an extra 3.5% for using a credit card and charge an extra $1 if you wanna share a plate.

I really really wanted to like this place. It's cute, it's by the beach. How can they possibly screw up breakfast??? Reviews said service is slow but it's really -really -really slow. Like 100 year old tortoise slow. Waited almost 1/2 hour to order then waited over an hour for eggs. I understand they were short a cook- not their fault but c'mon. It's eggs and potatoes. When I got my food my corned beef hash was barely cooked!!! my potatoes were cold, and my eggs were very runny. At least make it right after waiting nearly 2 hours. Maybe I expected a little more? Maybe I'm just silly like that. On a positive note staff is friendly albeit apologetic and the music and coffee was good Bottom line. Go somewhere else or you'll wait until lunch to be served breakfast. Once and done

There's not a ton of space, which I'm sure makes the rush brunch worse. Facilities were to clean and well maintained, well decorated as well. Our server Ashley was friendly and great. The food was delicious! My fiance and I both got veggie omelettes, he was able to add bacon to his and sub the potatoes for a fruit cup. We got an English muffin and wheat toast. Their wheat toast was massive and hearty, with seeds on the crust. I loved it! Veggie omelettes are always a good test of a chefs skills as they can be super wet from the high water content in veggies. Ours were cooked perfectly, no soppy mess and the veggies tasted crisp and fresh. I don't know if this is a downside, but the menu claimed the omelettes were 4 eggs, but it sure felt like 6 or 7! It was massive! The fruit cup didn't have a bunch of copout fruit in it, it came with really fresh strawberries, bananas and blackberries along with cantaloupe and pineapple. The only truly negative thing I noticed was the jam came in a small plastic cup and when I tasted the jam, it tasted like the plastic, so I couldn't eat it. Overall this is a great breakfast spot that rivals the sitting veterans on the area (first watch, kekes). Give it a go, but be wary of busy rush hours!

The avocado toast was also tasty. I also highly recommend the iced strawberry matcha latte. It was delicious and refreshing. They also have gluten free pastry options. The atmosphere had a fun, laid-back vibe. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick, even though the restaurant was busy. The only downside is the parking lot. A handful of outdoor tables, the rest inside, all clean and efficiently turned. Everything comes out fast and hot--service is brisk, bordering on assembly-line smooth. The French toast ($9) is as basic as it gets: two slices, a dusting of powdered sugar, syrup, and a lonely half strawberry. It tastes exactly like what it looks like--standard, soft, slightly forgettable. Not offensive, just... there. The latte was solid, and my mom's coffee was hot, strong, and dependable. The avocado toast tried, but didn't quite land. Cream cheese base, fried egg, tomato, and sliced avocado--some of which leaned a little too ripe. The tomato had a firm bite, the bread barely toasted, and the whole thing felt under-seasoned and uninspired. It needed salt, crunch, personality--something. The double chocolate muffin was moist, soft, and generously studded with melted chocolate pockets. Not house-made-feeling, more like a well-executed bakery standard--but still the best bite of the morning. (They also offer cranberry walnut and blueberry.) Bottom line: Skip the composed plates. Grab a muffin and a coffee--it's the smartest, happiest move here.
