Did NOT expect to find such spectacular pizza at this little, unassuming sub shop. Wow! What a surprise. Crust is chewy, flavorful and totally addictive. Toppings are as fresh as they get - high quality meat products and fresh-sliced veggies. We live in Pepperell and our go-to delivery is C&S, which I like, but the pizza just doesn't compare. Ordered my pizza and went and sat down for about 5 minutes then told we couldn't eat there. There was no sign saying it either. They were very rude. So disappointed! We have ordered pizza from Bruno's a few times and I have to say the food quality on the last 2 orders was terrible. I recently spent $83 for 3 pizzas, 3 orders of onion rings and an order of fries and the best part of that order was the over cooked onion rings. The veggie pizza was soggy and the toppings were not fresh, not to mention the overcooked fried cubes which I think were eggplant. The meat lovers pizza had mystery meat that I couldn't decipher what kind of meat it was except for the pepperoni because of the shape and again this pizza was not nothing to write home about either. The Tuscan pizza with pesto, chicken, banana peppers and artichoke hearts was the best of the 3 pizzas even with the dried chicken. We were feeding 6 people and 3 were men with heavy appetites and had a lot leftovers no one wanted to take any home. I have had better pizza from the grocers freezer. I will not be returning to Bruno's and will not recommend it to anyone. read more

have gone multiple times and always satisfied. the pizza is high quality, almost gourmet but the affordable version. the dough/crust especially. fries are also good but really it's just the place to go regardless of what pizza you're looking for. one time we got a really complicated pizza at their rush hour and one topping was missing so they more than made up for it with a small pizza all we had to do was pick it up. Every time I call an order in the guy that picks up the phone sounds like his dog just died and is without fail always short with me...borderline snippy I suppose. Pizza is great!!! Multiple different visitors comment how good the pizza is. We did wait a while for the pizza. At the end of the night my guest said the pizza wasn't even burnt...I said that's because they must slowly cook it instead of turning the temp too high to cook fast and burn it!!! Lol! Their cheese pizza, while expensive, is the best pizza in the area. It's paper thin with just the right amount of sauce. I can't speak for their pizzas with toppings, because we never tire of their cheese pizza. Recommended for takeout. There are only a couple of uncomfortable tables inside, and 2 shaky tables out front. NOTE: They have overcooked the pizza once or twice. Make sure you check the bottom of the pizza prior to leaving. I just ordered from Brunos for the first time and I did not get the pizza so I can't speak to it. I ordered two subs (a chicken parm for myself and a grilled chicken and veg for my wife) and it was one of the worst chicken parm subs I've ever had (and I've had a lot). I was really hungry but could barely get through half and threw the rest away. First of all it was cut up chicken which I cann't stand in a chicken parm sub. I think it was pre cooked for pizza and they just put it in the roll for a sub and so it was really dry. It was also way too salty and the seasonings were not what I would expect on a chicken parm...the meat was covered in some sort of spice that did not help matters. On top of that the sauce was burnt and all of the cheese they put on the top got stuck to the paper they wrapped it in (why don't sub places know to put the cheese on the bottom?). My wife said her grilled chicken sub wasn't good either and she threw most of hers away also. We also ordered mozzarella sticks which were undercooked and the marinara sauce they gave us looked like it was scraped off the bottom of a sauce pan that had been on the stove for days (dark brown and burnt tasting). By the sound of some recent reviews..it seems like they just don't care anymore. read more

This is my go-to pizza place! I've been there more than a dozen times since moving to the area and their pizza has never disappointed. Always hot, fresh and the large is a pretty good size. I've gotten a couple salads that weren't as good as their usual *great*, but still put most pizza joint salads to shame. For the size of the Resturant they have a large menus. I got a spinach salad. Which was tasty but a little skimpy on the extras (cranberries, walnuts, gorgonzola). The rest of the party were satisfied with their selections, Italian sub and a wrap. Good sized portions, well priced. My biggest complaint was the ventilation or lack there of. As soon as you walk in you can smell gas from ovens and was present the entire meal. Would not return for sit down but would get take out from here again. read more

Now called Bruno's, this pizza and sub shop has high quality ingredients that justify the little bit more money you're spending. The chicken caesar wrap is excellent, as are the chicken parm, and bbq chicken pizza. The stand-out for Bruno's, their steak & cheese sub. Wow, not since Peter's Pizza closed down has Groton had such a bomb steak & cheese sub. While Gro-Ho's sub suffers from chewier steak, Bruno's is fine cut of the highest caliber. read more

Terrible! Friend and I wanted pizza for dinner. We were curious about Bruno's for a while, so we decided to try it. Called in for an order for take out. The man who took my order was rude and snappy. When we came to pay and pick up our pizza, the man was giving us rude facial expressions. We try our pizza, and it was one of the worst we have ever tasted. Cold and not well cooked. Called 45 minutes before closing and was put on hold for approximately 3 minutes. When they finally took my call I tried to order a cheese pizza (tough one huh?) and was told they were closed... Drove by the place fifteen minutes later, open sign still up, customers going in and out. When an OPEN restaurant turns me away once for no reason they NEVER receive my patronage again.
