Mostly a takeout place with some booths for people that want to at in Friendly service, amazing food, clean dining area with plenty of booths and tables. We went in hungry and the food was prepared to ordered and ready in about 10 minutes. Pizza was ready in 5 minutes, because the pizza is cooked at 800 degrees and cooks fast, best to eat in as it cools quick. Great quality dough, fresh sauce and the right amount of cheese. Greek salad served with plenty of feta, olives and veggies. Steak sub with cheese, green peppers and onions, cooked and seasoned perfectly. So happy we found this place. I called in a large pepperoni pizza over the phone. The restaurant looks like it would serve great food and it looks inviting. When I walked to the counter I was stared at, there was no "Hello" or "May I help you?" Not a word until they totaled my bill. No customers in waiting and idle employees could mean they don't have a good turn over of food. I paid my bill and tipped a dollar and I didn't hear the words, "Thank you." I opened the box at home and the pizza was cold, cheese solidified and the pepperoni was dry. My pizza looked like it was sitting there all day waiting to be sold by the slice. Sorely disappointed. I've eaten at the Sorrento's in Concord, which is allegedly the same place, but this crust is the most horrible decision that they've made. It's not the same crust at all. It appears to be premade/possibly frozen. When I pick it up, the toppings literally slide off of the pizza crust, and the crust underneath appears to be borderline cooked. I didn't get a ton of topping, so that's not the reason. absolutely would never go there again. Waste of money. Another local eatery off my list. I've lost my tolerance for mediocre pizza. My choices are dwindling! The crust is way too thin, even for thin crust style. Crust so flabby you almost need a knife and fork. No structure or stretch whatsoever. The crust is so absolutely bland I often leave the outermost untopped parts uneaten. Good crust should be a joy to eat even with no toppings or sauce. Toppings are skimpy as well. It's taken me a while to come to this step - taking it off my list. But I finally realized even on a "good" day it's a disappointment. Over the years I've had several come out underdone or overdone; usually the former, the crust tasting like raw flour and the cheese not fully melted and assimilated. Who needs that? I've had sub sandwiches here too. In all cases, skimpy filling and bland, tasteless rolls. Ambience: typical boring "House Of Pizza" look. That's excusable. What is not excusable is the rudeness of most of the staff. Curt responses, grouchiness about getting a receipt, laughing at customers. Or is it language issues or cultural differences? Worst service ever! If I could give it a -5 stars, I would. All the staff have their faces buried in their phones. They treat you like you're inconveniencing them by ordering food. I recently went there, walked up to the counter and had to get the attention of the guy at the register because he was on his phone. I ask if I can order, and he says, "the guy who taking orders is over there". He was sitting there eating and on his phone. He looks up at me and just sits there and says nothing. Decent slices, with several different kinds, sold as a single slice that's a quarter pie, equivalent to two slices of a normal large pie. Nice sauce. Wood flavor, though not as pronounced as at their Acton location. Standard practice of reheating precooked slices. The crust tends to get dry and stiff as the lunch hour goes on. But that's life with slices out in the boonies, so not a big problem. Where I have a problem is ordering a whole pie by phone, ahead of time, to eat there. When I arrived, the owner yelled at me for making them waste a cardboard pizza container. I told him I didn't need the cardboard pizza container, serve it on a tray. He said it was too late and continued yelling at me. I said if it's that much of a problem, why didn't anyone say anything when I called in the first place? No real answer, just more yelling, saying I shouldn't call in an order to eat there, I should arrive first and then order and wait. I said if that's the case you shouldn't have accepted my order. More yelling, and pizza getting colder by the minute. It's a shame, because the pizza's not bad (despite the dry and too stiff and crunchy part on aging slices) and the rest of the staff is really great, but I'll never give this place another visit. Pizza was amazing, the service was pretty quick and swift, the Ambiance was a happy old styled pizza parlor.

Ok. Good for an Italian or pizza fix. Not amazing, but it's a true brick oven. Dough is kind of young. But, the price is ok and the food is ok. I will go back to try other things looking for that "wow" item. Service was fast during my off-peak visit. People were friendly and polite. Ambiance was quiet due to the time. Decided to give this place a try. Mostly wish I hadn't. The pizza isn't bad, per se, but it's nothing special and the prices are a bit steep. The crust had no firmness at all. Folded the first piece, held it up and it failed the flop test immediately with 75% of the slice pointing straight down. The sauce is weird. I can't call it a sweet or salty sauce, it just has an unusual flavor. I have a feeling they use too much onion and/or garlic in it because it'll make you rip farts for the next 24 hours. $42 for two takeout pies and they weren't even that good. My sister and I were in town to see friends and got Sorrento's for takeout. It all was delicious! The Buffalo rangoons were perfectly crispy and filled with buffalo chicken, and the cheese slices were cooked perfectly with the best sauce! We both got salads (Steak house and Buffalo chicken)- my only complaint is that my steak was almost ground up and overcooked, but besides that very tasty! Service was great- we ordered online and picked it up in their organized pickup area. We will be ordering again the next time we visit! read more

I'm so confused with them. Honestly I've eaten there many times and it's been pretty good. Todays review is based on a Sorrento's sub and a slice of meatball and ricotta pizza. The pizza he threw into the oven for 10 seconds and then gave it to me. Then a new girl made my sub. When they handed it to me I actually stopped and looked at it because it felt off. I thought maybe they gave me a wrap instead. For $11 this sub was super thin around like a hotdog roll as you can see in the picture. Also the pizza they just heated for me was barely warm and soggy. I took three bites of it and threw the slices away. I haven't opened the sub yet but look at the picture. By no means are my hand big. Update: got home and opened the sub. It's supposed to have as their specialty sub prosciutto, mozzarella, basil and tomatoes. Only four things yet....no tomatoes. Seriously?!!!! I have been a customer at Sorrento's for years. Tonight I had the WORST customer experience I have ever had in my life, and that is no exaggeration. It pains me to even have to give this place one star. I asked for my sandwich to be made as a wrap instead of a sub. My order came out as a sub and I went to the counter and told them it was supposed to be a wrap. I waited for 20 minutes thinking they were remaking my wrap. Finally, the so called "manager", approached me and started yelling that the woman at the counter did not understand English, and neither did any of the staff. He said they were not making me another sandwich because they had to throw the first one away. I didn't think I understood him correctly so I asked him what I was supposed to eat and he said he didn't care. We ordered three subs and two pizzas and he was fighting us about reimbursing us but eventually did. He would not give us his name, but this man was BY FAR the RUDEST most ARROGANT JERK I have ever encountered. He should try a new line of work because he should NEVER work with the public or interact with customers. I have never written a yelp review but this incident was so infuriating that I couldn't help myself. I will NEVER order a morsel of food from Sorrento's again and if they have any interest in maintaining customers, they should start by hiring some people that speak English and a manager who isn't a complete A**HOLE!!! read more

Sorrento's you need to review your newer business practices. We have been going for at least 15 years.... but no more. The staff can't even be bothered interacting with your customers- you have racks to grab the food. I was growled at by the man at the counter to get my order. Not a nice experience and I ordered several pizzas and no one had more than a slice because the quality just wasn't there. Very disappointing. Used to be a place we loved. I have had take-out from this pizza shop a couple of times now and I am a repeat offender for a reason... always very good! Their vegetable pizza is great, they fry the little bits of eggplant (which is delicious) and the toppings are always plentiful. I have ordered from the Sorrento's in Acton and this shop has way better consistency. My company had the Gamberi Arabiata, which is an Italian dish with spicy tomato and red pepper sauce, but he really likes heat (big fan of cajun food) and was pleased with the heat. The best part is the amount of options. It is a little more expensive than other area shops - but totally worth it. read more

I've tried this place three times now but won't be going again. Every time, the pizza dough in the center was raw and the crusts black. This was on a pepperoni, a vegetarian, and one of their specialty pizzas. The ingredients seem fresh overall (though the eggplant should just be sauteed, not deep-fried and greasy) and the edible parts of the crust taste great, but so much is inedible due to the raw center and burnt edges. So close and yet so far from what could be such a great pizza place!! read more
