We came here for the steak-cut fries. Anyone else notice that these have disappeared in restaurants?? Well, I'm happy to report that Bruno's didn't disappoint. Real steak-cut fries and homemade ranch. I highly recommend. AND bonus was the space itself. What a vibrant space! Light filled with butter yellow cushions for their built in seating. The decor was great. I couldn't stop scanning the room from the curved bar to the wallpaper. So happy we stumbled upon this place. We'll definitely be back. My husband and I have supported Bruno's since they first opened. We've brought friends and family here many times because we believe in supporting local businesses in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, our experience last night was extremely disappointing. We were dining with a visiting family member and had just received our food and first round of drinks. When our waitress--who mentioned it was her first day--came back, I politely ordered a second drink. About 10-15 minutes later, a bartender (whose name was shared with us as Diego by our waitress) brought the drink to the table. Instead of simply delivering it, he spoke to me in an aggressive and condescending tone, telling me this would be the only time a drink would be brought to the table and that next time I needed to go to the bar because they "don't do table service." The issue wasn't the policy--it was the way it was communicated. It felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic customer service. Shortly after, our waitress returned and asked if the bartender had been upset about the order, which added to how uncomfortable the situation felt. As the only table of color in the space at the time, the interaction left us questioning whether this was simply poor training, a bad night, or something more concerning. I can't say for certain--but I can say it did not feel welcoming or respectful. We chose to finish quickly, pay our bill, and leave with our food. This experience does not reflect the kind of hospitality we expect from our neighborhood. I truly hope this was an isolated incident and that management takes steps to address staff communication and customer service. read more

Happy to have this new bar in the 'hood. Order at the bar, grab a table, enjoy a cocktail while watching Foster traffic zoom by. Cocktails are intriguing and I loved the snacky garnish in the Bled White. Food was good but not the main draw. Would love to see more vegan options, right now it's just burger or chick'n sandwich which were both serviceable and tasty if messy (the shredded lettuce ended up everywhere but in our mouths). We were a little surprised that the entree sandwiches didn't come with any sides but nothing on the menu suggested they would. read more

It had been a minute since last I had visited Bruno's. They now are open Monday's with all day happy hour! What a great deal. We had the chicken burger with half an order of fries. It was the bomb! The chicken was prepared to perfection. The secret apparently is rice panko. read more

This is my spot ;) I love their drinks and bartenders, and the space is nice and open with windows. I like the Caesar salad and the chicken sandwich is decent and large. French fries are steak fries and good and salty. I do wish they would add some new apps. This is a regular bar in my rotation though so thank you! read more

Update: We have been here a bunch more times. The food has been consistently good and fresh. The drinks are always fantastic. The lines to get drinks are still long at times. They always seem to have new staff who are always nice and pleasant. The expanded their outdoor seating area which is great! This is a fantatic neighborhood place. read more

I sat for 20 minutes at a table watching the wait staff chat with other customers and occasionally give a sideways glance but no eye contact or greeting. I saw the bartender come out to dining area and put a reserve sign on a large table. Looked at me but did not say anything. I realized that orders were going out to tables with little number flags so, indication that the take orders at the bar with no table service. I went up to the bar and asked why they didn't seem to want to welcome me into their establishment. Bartender told me they don't have table service. I responded that it was not apparent to me when I came in and that it would have been nice to be greeted by someone. His response wase "well, I can tell you right now I'm not going to serve you". So, I left. Won't be back and will recommend trying other establishments in the area. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood, Bruno's! So many folks have been talking about the ushering in of this brand-new space, and I can totally see why. The great outdoor patios and unique indoor spaces make this a stop on any group's happy hour. The bar is ample with great seating, and the staff are welcoming and clearly know what they're doing. The food menu is small, which I love, so it made ordering very easy. I would hope to see some rotation since I am not sure how often I would return if this is all they offer indefinitely. The drinks were yummy, but, I was surprised by how each of us were given different glassware for the same drinks. I was lucky and had a glass maybe 50% bigger than my friend's, but, who's to say if there was more alcohol in there? We had a few issues with food, since, orders were brought to us that we had not ordered, and vice versa, despite having order numbers displayed. Granted, this was one of the first weekends of it being open, so we would have to return at some point, too. Great vibes all around and I loved the slushies! read more

I am beyond thrilled to have this awesome bar in our neighborhood. As a celiac, I don't really have access to the sort of atmosphere (bar food), and it is so fun. I have never gotten sick and I've been multiple times now, with my boyfriend and with girlfriends. they all love the food just as much as I do, even though they do not have food, allergies. Being someone who has celiac it is so lovely to find a new place. They have a dedicated fryer so I was able to enjoy fries and a crispy chicken sandwich! The drinks are solid and delicious. Well made and fair price points. It felt like they were still working out some kinks in the flow of service but everyone we interacted with was pleasant, friendly and had a good vibe. What a lovely surprise this place is. The food is fair priced, especially in their happy hour Mondays. We got their wedge salad, wings, and a chicken sandwich with fries. Holy smokes the food was great in every way. The chicken sandwich was huge and rich. The wedge salad was also huge and extra generous with fixins. Cocktails are great but everything else was lacking. Service was alright but definitely got ignored a couple times when I wanted more drinks but was ignored cause I wasn't friends with the bartenders. The food was just awful. Basic frozen premade bar food that isn't even good. Got the saddest steak frites with the thinnest steak and it was over cooked, chewy, and bland. I guess this is their attempt to make the food nice but it's served on a plastic plate. The place has nice cocktails but low quality food and the space needs more. read more
