She watched shows and played games on her iPad, she was offered snacks, and even took a nap as she got her hair washed. Before she knew it, we had returned to pick her up and it was time for the big reveal. They hadn't let her see it until we arrived and she is in love with it. It turned out beautiful, and seeing how happy she was meant everything to me. When I was 16, I used box dye from the store or "Sun in" so being able to give her this experience was really special for me. It also gave me peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands and that her hair was being cared for properly, esp without me being there. Of course, Fox & Belle did an amazing job! For our trial appt, I had a super tight timeline since I wanted my makeup & hair glam ready for my engagement shoot. She was very flexible with an early start time & conveniently came to my house. She was an amazing guide when helping me narrow down my final bridal look. I had Ngan come for my Friday Vietnamese tea ceremony & Saturday wedding back-to-back and she was on time & finished within the scheduled window. I had the pleasure of working with Ngan as my hair and makeup artist for our wedding in May 2025, and I was thoroughly impressed by her accommodating nature. She and her co-hartists listened attentively to all our requests, including a few tricky ones including a pinup curl hairstyle. Her trial run was a huge help in figuring out the right shades and products to use. Ngan's co-artists were also top-notch, helping her complete 8 hair and makeup looks in a little over 4 hours - an impressive feat considering everyone had long hair. What struck me most was Ngan's ability to maintain a high level of professionalism throughout the day, even when faced with some unexpected challenges. Despite that, she continued to work tirelessly until our entire party was looking and feeling their best. Ngan and her team are awesome to work with! As long as you come prepared with pictures, Ngan can make it happen. For hair: I asked for a boho-y look, with braids on either side of my head going into a low, center bun. I asked for "something that I could take down later" for a second look with my second dress. For makeup: I also asked for a soft glam look that would wear well through the 90+ degree weather in Pleasanton. Just make sure to listen to her feedback and suggestions because she knows what she's doing e.g. what will show up well in pictures, how to make HMUA last all night, what will work with a veil, etc. read more

Maria did my trial and she literally has transformed the way I do makeup. She showed me what tightlining is, which seriously has given me so much confidence. I never knew why top eyeliner was a struggle for me. No matter how thin the line was, it still took over my eyelid. I have explained this to makeup artists before, but they just continued on with the eyeliner, which made me self-conscious, like one single black line takes up my whole eyelid. Maria explained to me that the shape of my hooded eyelids would benefit from tightlining, which is putting eyeliner on the upper lash line, instead of on top of it. WOW! I feel like a new person. I do it myself now and I just can't believe I never knew about it before. During the trial, I absolutely adored Maria, but I kept falling for her as she was just so respectful. She told me what the next steps were and asked if I'd like to see myself. Other trials felt rushed and I never saw myself until the end. She was so respectful of how I wanted to look: natural and probably even a bit bare as a bride. But she made me look like a better version of my usual self! I received so many compliments from my wedding party, including my very critical mother. I sent Felicia inspiration photos beforehand, and she had them ready for us to reference throughout. From the very first time I reached out, Christina was responsive and clear in explaining her services, the different packages available, and her general process. We had so much fun at our make-up trial that I immediately knew she was the right choice. She educated me on various products and techniques and was so easy to talk to the entire time! On our actual wedding day, Christina showed up on time and was such a calming presence the entire morning. I showed her a few more inspiration photos and asked for some minor tweaks from my trial look, and she absolutely nailed it! My hair and makeup was exactly what I had envisioned. Christina even followed me during all of our photos so she was right there to fix my hair placement, carry my bouquet and dress train, and assist me and our photographers. I felt so pampered!
