Cute, quality, and results! I love coming to this salon because it's very chic and decorated well! The communication with the hairstylist is KEY and Lisaura is always informing me on next steps, what to expect, and education on maintenance. Not only does she get me results, but informs me on how to maintain my hair at home, which is probably my favorite part. I had been waiting for my stylist to get back to work and call me to set up an appointment. Let's just say I waited in vain since I only needed a cut. Then I started thinking. I had never been happy with her haircuts, even though she touts herself as being "one of the best" stylist around. Whatev...so I decided to take this opportunity to try and find someone new at a different salon. I saw some really good reviews on Jacqueline at Brushed Roots. I figured my hair looked so bad I had nothing to lose so I booked an appointment. She listened to me tell her exactly how weird my hair grew, cowlicks, wavy on one side only, thinner in some areas etc. Showed her a picture and we were off to the shampoo bowl. I have a ton of hair in the back of my head. I mean a ton! Jacqueline thinned that out back there for so long I was starting to get sweaty and a bit panicky. I decided to have her go shorter than the picture I took in, she added some product, blew it dry, flat ironed it and turned me around to see the back of my new haircut. I almost cried tears of joy. I wish I had taken a before and after of my hair so I could have sent it to my former stylist, lol ! I love it. I always come home after every haircut I can remember and I wash and restyle it because while a cut may be ok the styling never is. Not this time! I went 3 days before I shampooed my hair and I didn't come anywhere near to getting it looking as nice as Jacqueline did. If you want to try someone new, someone nice, knowledgeable and great at cutting hair I highly recommend her. Her specialties are color, which I didn't have done, but if she's half as good at that as she is cutting hair you really should go see her. read more

i'll give this salon two stars because my ends look decent and my hair looks healthy. i had my appointment with natalia, granted i need an appointment quickly and soon and this salon had the soonest availability. their prices seemed to be the most decent in the area. however, be aware of what you are purchasing online and ask how much they charging you before starting you haircut. i was under the impression that my haircut was going to be 65 as prepaid on the website, and i was expecting to pay at least 20 percent for the tip. i was not aware because we cut additional inches it would be considered a transformation haircut( only cut two inches more). my hair looks the same but shorter and the style she had put in my hair hasn't lasted past the day. i would have been okay with this charge if she was honest and upfront with me about the difference in rate, however, she did not tell me it was going to be 80 for a haircut not including the tip. customers expect honesty anf integrity not an explanation at the end as to why they pay more. i am giving two stars because the salon looked nice and the girls were sweet and the stylist did give me some insight on my hair. however, natalia should have been upfront from the beginning and could have made this two-star review into a four star. please make sure to ask what you are paying for and what's included before you get your haircut. read more

Im so disappointed by these people there. McKenna was my stylist she placed blond highlights in my hair that I loved except for the brassy orange area that was in the front of my hair but nonetheless I loved it so much I came back to the salon to show her how beautiful my curls are dry w my new color, left an amazing review about it and trusted her enough to come back to fix that brass. Some how I ended up w grey hair instead of the beautiful blond color and she apologized for her mistake and scheduled me to come back in 1 week for a fix. Few days later my appt was canceled via text from the salon. I then personally message McKenna who tells me she can't service me bcuz she doesn't feel she can "satisfy my needs." Seriously u fuck up my hair then tell me u can't satisfy my needs. Unbelievable...the whole situation was horrible and the owner seemed to be soo fake and careless about this. Great first visit this evening. First, the regular stuff. Brea, my stylist, did a great job and was super friendly. I love the highlights that helped cover my new silver (thanks 2020!) along with a trim and style. The salon had a nice atmosphere. Second, the corona measures. I had a haircut with Julie Banderas last week and I love it more and more everyday! She was able to accommodate me the same day and after chatting for few minutes she knew what I was looking for and perform it greatly. She showed me how to style it in different ways and answered all my questions. Another thing that I appreciate is don't push me to buy any hair products!!! I found Hope because I was looking for someone who does balyage color. My mom sees Cindi at the salon and she always does a great job on her hair and so my mom referred me to Hope who could do my color. I have been seeing Hope now since August and she has cut and colored my hair twice. I have to say she is amazingly talented. She is by far the best stylist I've ever had! My hair looks like I paid a top Hollywood stylist to do it. Hope has also done my husband's and daughter's hair too and she consistently impresses me! She is quick and affordable. I used to come to this salon and see Samantha who was amazing, however she no longer works at this salon. I booked recently with the first available stylist for a cut and color. The sun had significantly bleached out my hair over the summer and I was looking to return to my natural darker color for fall. When I was discussing my options with the stylist and showing her photos she showed me several hair swatches for the dye options that weren't even close to what I wanted. I told her I wasn't comfortable with those colors as they were totally different shades and we decided to tone my hair instead. The toner didn't do anything, my hair looks exactly the same as when I came into the salon. As for the cut, it's completely different than the photos I showed her and isn't remotely the length I wanted. It's also incredibly uneven in length so I have to get it fixed. She also did a deep conditioning treatment but my hair feels like straw now and my scalp is quite sensitive. I wrote in and spoke with the owner who told me that if I wanted to come in and fix it the same stylist would have to do it again and she would charge me half. I've already paid $125+ tip and their website advertises that while they don't offer refunds they will fix your hair if they mess it up. The owner also told me my hair is brown, when my hair isn't it's naturally red and turns strawberry blonde in the summer due to the sun. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed that not only would the same person who didn't listen to me the first time be attempting to do my hair over but they also wanted me to pay MORE than I've already paid to correct hair that is nothing like what I asked for. I won't be coming back here, I used to rave about this salon and this experience was deeply disappointing. I have an appointment at a different salon to hopefully fix my hair today. read more

I was referred here by my previous stylist at Bodi Salon as she had left the Industry. I saw Shalene, she was great. I loved how fast she was. I was going to Legends Salon and it was taking almost 3 hours to do a partial highlight with a cut. Shalene had me In-N-Out in an hour and a half with partial highlights, cut & style and blow dry...WOW!!! She is fast. I was so happy!! I MUST say i am completly disatisfied with the way Shalene (The so called Owner of Salon Me) has treated me a previous Client. I came in to have my hair styled and this was my first time with Shalene. The end result was NOT what i wanted and after simply expressing my feelings about not being satisfied with the way my hair was done (for my Birthday weekend) instead of her taking OWNERSHIP of the situation and offering to re do my hair or refer me back to the original Beautician that did my hair, she rather took an offended approach treated me very unfairly, offered no sincerity and told me "She has no time to do my hair and also stated no one has ever given her a complaint before!!" LOL well thats very surprising and here is to your FIRST complaint then (commical)! I get extensions and she was not even sure how to comb my hair after washing it along with having to get another girl to tease my hair correctly becuase she "DIDNT GET IT" Im sorry but im floored, hurt, and completly unhappy with her UNCOUTH behavior. Absolutly NO customer service skills in fact i would be surprised if her business lasts longer than a year treating people that way. End result of this unfortunate situation was a denial of me requesting rightfully so a refund instead recieved combative and RUDE behavior that seriously needs to be taimed. NEVER AGIAN WILL I CONSIDER THIS PLACE AS WELL AND REFER ANYONE. Stuck up and inadequate SHE is. All she had to do was be polite act like a Business owner and offer a make up for me BUT too late I am not finished with this sitation. The BBB and State licensing will be involved as well. I went to her to get my roots done and to blend some too light hair. I am disappointed to say that she didn't seem to listen to me. I also have stubborn gray/white hair. She had said that if the color didn't take well or was too light, to call her back and she would make it right. The next day when I really looked at the color and tried to style it, I saw that not only was the color on top way too light, but the roots did not take well. They still looked white. I called her and left a message and never heard from her. I am giving her a few stars, because I have had worse. I was very nervous since I am in a wedding in December plus I had a bad experience at my last hairdresser. Impressed is the word that comes to mind after my first experience with Shaylene for a haircut and style. She listened to everything I said about what I wanted and then proceeded to give me exactly that. Today I just went for my first color and once again, impressed. I have to relay my experience here with Shalene. It was my first appointment as I was desperate and everyone else was booked. I brought with me my previous stylists directions- she moved. When it was all said and done my hair was way shorter than the picture we had discussed, way blonder but worse of all she left the color on too long and fried my hair. Normally I sit for 20 minutes. She checked it at 20 minutes and said I needed 10 minutes more. Mind you this is the salon owner. When I left you could not tell the damage but as soon as I washed it at home it became increasing obvious how damaged my hair was. I have been to other stylists to try and fix it but since it is so short if I cut the damage off my hair would be 1/2 inch long. I am spending tons of money on hair masks and conditioners but the damage is done and I will have to wait for it to grow out. How lovely with the Holiday coming up! I have always had the most healthy and pretty hair and now I have fizzy crazy old lady hair. I have seriously considered buying a wig. It is that bad. Beware if you dare. read more
