This ice cream shop is amazing. We went the 2nd day they opened and have been back at least 3 more times to try their additional flavors. We were pleasantly surprised by the creaminess and texture of the ice cream and how fresh it came out. The cookie dough, red velvet, birthday cake, and oreo flavors are super delicious. The location is on the side of Sardis so parking is easy to find and they even have a place to sit where you can enjoy your ice cream. read more

Very disappointed I have to say. This location is unorganized and obviously lacking management. I ordered a milkshake and two pints. After waiting 20 mins we were informed they were out of milk! They didn't just run out , they were out all day. So why would they let me order a milkshake? Then it takes 20 mins to inform me. They offered to replace it with a pint which i agreed. But not my other ice cream is melting. It takes another 20mins to get the replacement pint! By the time i got home my first two pints turned into milkshakes because they melted!! Bruster's always has pistachio ice cream that my wife enjoys so much... probably the only place since Friendly's shut down in Maryland, and Northern Virginia. But, I purchased a pistachio ice cream cone on a sugar cone and my sister-in-law got a mango sorbet in a small cup and we were charged $12 and change. We had hot fudge sundaes and my daughter had ice cream with sprinkles. The ice cream was smooth, creamy, and fresh. The toppings were plentiful and fresh. Visited Bruster's Ice Cream in Bowie Town Center for the first time yesterday (7/20/20) afternoon (one of the hottest days of the year). My husband and I were the only customers there. As we were looking over the menu items, an older Caucasian man came to one of the windows and asked if we wanted to order something. My husband said we were still looking. Apparently he didn't hear our response the first time (sometimes it's hard to hear people while wearing masks) but after my husband repeated that we were still looking, he rudely slammed the window shut and left. I called to ask a question and the young gentleman (Ahman) answered the phone and provided me with extraordinary customer service.
