After trying to get ideas on their website, Alexis reached out to me directly and sent me sample pictures of the tower design. She was so friendly and extremely helpful. She definitely left my mind at ease with her warm personality. Not only was the donut tower GORGEOUS but it was also delicious. The flavors I chose were the strawberry crunch, banana pudding, fruity pebbles and the Oreo. These were all delicious! All my guest and I were very impressed with everything. I ended up getting the apple pie cinnamon roll $11.95, biscoff banana pudding $9.95, and the MEGA cookies n cream shake (sub for a chocolate chip muffin) $28.95. - Service was solid and helpful. - Although the apple pie cinnamon roll $12 price tag is a bit much, I still was able to enjoy it. The toppings were nice, especially the cream cheese, but the dough was underwhelming as it was a bit dry and slightly firmer than I usually prefer. - The Biscoff banana pudding was the main pick the staff member recommended, so despite not being the biggest banana pudding guy, I had to try it. Unfortunately, it wasn't anything impressive, but it was cool. Also, the biscuit taste was more so in the background. - The shake was pretty good, but not $29 worth by any means. I stopped by to try a few of the milkshakes after seeing the photos on the menu and was really looking forward to them. I asked the person at the counter, what was in some of the specialty flavors. The Unicorn? "It's just vanilla." The Mermaid? "It's just vanilla." The Creamsicle? "It's just vanilla." I ended up ordering the Mint Chocolate, Cookie Monster, and an ice cream sundae. Unfortunately, none of them looked anything like the pictures. The milkshakes came in clear plastic cups with what appeared to be plain white shakes, and the sundae was simply vanilla ice cream with a little fudge on top. To make matters worse, they had run out of lids, so my sundae was put in a cup, and then the cup was placed inside a plastic food box container. For a total of $36.94, I expected much better presentation, quality, and consistency with what was advertised. I honestly should have just gone to McDonald's. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I don't mind paying premium prices for desserts, but I do expect them to resemble the menu photos and deliver on the flavors being promised. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet expectations. RESPONSE: Thank you for your response and for providing additional context. I understand now that many of your specialty shakes begin with a vanilla base. However, that was not communicated to me during my visit. When I asked about the Unicorn, Mermaid, and Creamsicle shakes, I was simply told, "It's just vanilla" for each one. There was no explanation about the mix-ins, toppings, presentation, or what made each specialty item unique. As a customer, I took that to mean that these menu items were essentially the same flavor with different names. I also wasn't informed that the specialty presentation was unavailable due to supply shortages. Had I known that the shakes were normally served in mugs or glass jars, or that my sundae would be packaged in a cup inside a plastic container without a lid, I would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether I still wanted to proceed or receive a discount. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos because I was trying to carry all three desserts, and the sundae ended up spilling in my car due to the packaging. I understand that supply issues happen, but communication is key. For a nearly $37 purchase, I expected the staff to explain the differences between the menu items and let customers know when the experience being advertised could not be delivered. I've been to this bakery several times since it opened. The cupcakes were moist, artistic and delicious! I go as an expensive treat for special occasions. On Wednesday, I ordered 6 cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and paid $41.02! The cake was dry and the flavor fell flat. This is the second time I was disappointed. I hope the dried out cake is corrected soon. My 8 year old asked for a different birthday treat because her lemon cupcake was not good. The banana pudding is just so creamy and the cookies add a bit of crunch. The desserts are a bit pricey but worth the splurge. There are so many tasty options to choose from and the presentation of all the desserts was on point! I asked the associate which cupcake was her favorite since I had a hard time choosing. She recommended the snickerdoodle cupcake. I love snickerdoodle cookies so I gave it a try. It was really moist and tasty! The cupcake was even topped with a snickerdoodle cookie. Saw an Instagram video from big schlims about this place and knew I needed to stop by. I called on Thanksgiving eve around 3pm to see if they were open and the person who answered the phone told me they would be open until 6. I raced over and arrived around 4pm. We arrived and were told they were out of almost everything. Kinda blown however they did have the Birthday Cake milkshake which was the main reason I wanted to come for about $25 I think. This seems a bit pricy as Crazy Mason offers 80% the same thing minus the donut. I doubt a donut costs $8 bucks but I understand the need for a profit. The cupcake and donut tasted dry. I've read this in the reviews before but figured I'd give it a shot anyway. While I read they are made fresh daily, they don't taste fresh at all. The overall presentation of the cupcakes and milkshake were great. I can tell they have worked on this. If the taste of the cupcakes matched the presentation this could easily have been a 5 star review however they are lacking. Parking is fair to middling considering the stores in the strip. Once inside, I swear it feels as though you will catch a sugar coma with how great it smells! They had so many options from cakes, to macaroons, cheesecakes, basically any and everything to satisfy your sweet tooth. I got the items from the app (vanilla cupcakes) plus because they looked to die for a small banana pudding (I think) caramel cheesecake. Both desserts were beautiful in presentation and of nice size. I'm not really a banana pudding fan, but I enjoyed the cheesecake, so much that I'd like to go back and try other flavors. The cupcakes were just okay to me, I'm not sure if it's because I didn't let them rest at room temp before scarfing them down or if it's something else. The staff were attentive and kind. Having traveled such a long distance just to try them out, I settled for the Oreo cheesecake. It was tasty, definitely fresh, and very rich. This is a female black owned business and the owner and the employees were incredibly welcoming! I ordered a birthday cake for my Mom's 80th birthday and my mom was blown away when I presented her cake! The celebration was for the recognition of the women in our family so it was a celebration birthday with all women including my mom, her sisters and her female cousins, her sister in laws and her best friend. The first time was for my youngest daughter's first birthday. The owner claimed it was a disgruntled employee trying to sabotage her business and had a cake made at 50% off and delivered it to me that evening. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because their cakes are pretty and tasty. This time, I placed an order for my older daughter's birthday more than a week in advance and fully paid for only for me to arrive to excuses about how the cashier who I actually placed the order with didn't process it because she was "rushing" and my daughter's cake was never made. This time the owner was out of town and there was no time to fix it. My daughter was deeply disappointed because she wanted her "Moana" cake. They offered cupcakes to compensate and the owner was apologetic. But again, this is the SECOND time they have messed up my order so I will NOT be patronizing them again. After several weeks...months of driving by and not stopping today was the day. So I ordered. The customer service was good, not great but good and acceptable. The clerk wasn't the most talkative but she answered all of my questions. She also struggled placing the cupcakes in the box, simply put she smushed them. So either they need a bigger box for their cupcakes or they need to make a slightly smaller cupcake. No big deal...this time. As for the taste. It was just okay, not great, not bad, not good, "just okay". BUT I didn't try everything another is reason to go back and see what is actually earning the 4 and 5 star reviews I saw. So glad I stopped in this beautiful little shop for a treat. For some time, I'd been watching from afar on social media, tempted by pics of the elaborate desserts offered, especially those milkshakes. WOW! With her friendly, patient guidance, and couple delicious samples, I ended up with a scoop of banana pudding ice cream topped with Biscoff cookie butter and Biscoff crumbles. OMG! After just one bite, I wanted to run back in from the parking lot where I sat devouring my purchase and compliment the staff for an brilliant choice. However, my greedy spirit sat right there and continued to shovel bite after bite into my mouth. I also ordered red velvet and peanut butter cookies. I was a bit irritated when I got home, because I realized I was given a banana cookie instead of peanut butter. I wasn't pleased with the taste of it either. Sigh! The cupcakes and the red velvet cookie on the other hand were out of this world delicious! Very moist cake and decadent frosting, equals a substantially good and quality cupcake. The BFF loved her selection as well. I can honestly say very easily, that these were the best cupcakes I've eaten in a very long time. Since I'm not a huge cake eater in the first place, for me to say that, is BIG! I'm always on the lookout out for a cupcake or dessert spot, and this place is a black-owned, too! I walked in to such a vibrant and beautiful shop and was instantly greeted by friendly staff. The first thing I saw was a huge balloon arch, and apparently the owner specializes in making them for different events. I spoke with, who I believe is a manager at this location, and she was telling me all about the origins of the business and how they only opened a little over a month ago. She also told me that the owner has a doggie treat business, so there were a lot of doggie treats in the shop as well. Now, about the desserts! They sell cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, Rice Krispie treats, gummy candies, cake pops... I literally did not know what to choose. The manager described all the cupcake flavors to me to help me decide, and there are so many unique flavors! I ended up choosing their vanilla and the strawberry crunch. This was probably one of the best vanilla cupcakes I've ever had. The strawberry crunch was amazing too. It even had a vanilla Oreo on the bottom of the cupcake, which added an extra crunch to it.
