Food: Tried the chocolate chip cookie, sugar cookie, and sweet potato cake. Cookies were FRESH. Soft, flavorful, exactly what you want. The sweet potato cake was moist and had great flavor overall, but part of it was burnt. I even asked for a specific piece to avoid that. Ended up eating most of it, but the burnt section was too much. Honestly, that whole cake probably should've been scrapped. Service/Timing: Friendly and helpful. No complaints there. Value: Good. $10(8 cookies and what I'd consider 1/4 slice of cake.Quality was mostly there, but the burnt cake keeps it from being top tier. Highlight Fresh Wrap-Up: Strong start overall. The cookies alone make it worth stopping by. Just tighten up quality control on the cakes and it's easily a 5-star experience.

Lord I wish I would have bought (2) pieces! Sweet potato cake was moist and sweet just like a sweet potato pie would be. I can't wait to go back and try the banana pudding, strawberry cake, cupcakes, and more cheese cakes. Inside is really cute a lot of baby blue is the ambiance inside so very bright and inviting. Go check them out y'all!

I was able to place my order online and received a text message to confirm. The bakery is a home based business and was easy to find. Queen greeted me at the door and the cheesecake was beautifully decorated. Queen also included a written thank you card along with a chocolate-nice touch! The cheesecake had a layer of sweet cream cheese with cute little marshmallows and whipped cream on top of a layer of perfectly sweetened sweet potato. The crust was also an amazing graham cracker cookie! My family and friends devoured this cheesecake! Luckily I did manage did get a slice and it was just melt in your mouth awesomeness! They share an ordering counter and ordering kiosk with Kotaco. Online order at https://www.thespotdmv.online My wife and I decided to get some ice cream. When you buy ice cream, you get 4 choices with each: a base, a flavor, 2 toppings, and a syrup.  We tried the mango ice cream and the strawberry ice cream.    For the mango ice cream, I chose a cup as the base. The other base choices were waffle cone or egg waffle cone. There are 5 toppings to choose from. I picked oreo crumb and Kit Kat. I didn't want any syrup. The ice cream was smooth, creamy, mild in sweetness, and weak in mango flavor. The toppings were good in taste and texture! They helped give the ice cream some flavor.    For the strawberry ice cream, my wife chose a cup, Kit Kat, wafer stik [sic], and strawberry syrup. The wafer stik was like Piroulines. The strawberry flavor was good and strong, the sweetness was moderate, and it was creamy smooth with tiny bits of strawberry fruit. The toppings were good in taste and texture. This was very good overall!    The service was quick and polite. The kitchen area, dining room, and restrooms were clean. Their entire menu is in my posted photos. Parking is free and plentiful in the shopping center lot. The Metro subway Green line is within walking distance. The variety of desserts is not large. I wouldn't come here just for dessert. But, it's convenient if you're in the area. I heard from other Yelpers that the black sesame ice cream was very good. So, I'll return to give it a try when I'm nearby.

I wanted to go to Pjs as an alternative to Starbucks but I can no longer. They are way too expensive. I also don't understand how they operate their drive through. You have to ask for everything. Forks, napkins, jelly, butter. I got a bagel which says it comes with cream cheese on the menu, I had to ask for the cream cheese and knife... & this has been several employees by the way. They all do it. Another time I got a biscuit with jelly. I had to ask 3 different questions thinking the server would get it. Can I have jelly...? received the jelly with no knife. Can I have a knife...? Received the knife with no napkins. Can I have napkins...? Any normal coffee shop gives you all of those things with a bag! They don't even give you bags! I spent $25 on a bagel, 1 medium chai latte, 1 medium caramel coffee, and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, on top of that I had to ask for utensils and napkins. That was my last time going there. I go to a coffee shop to spend $7 max for a coffee and a treat, Pjs is not that place. They either think they're better quality than what they are or taking advantage of people. Either way I want no part of it anymore.

We entered, admired the artwork around the room and were seated immediately to talk further what we liked about it. We were first greeted by our server Tess, who introduced herself & gave us menus. We searched a little, of course hawk-eyed other tables to see what others ordered... and Tess came back a few minutes later to take our drink orders. We got some waters, iced tea, lavender lemonades, and a mimosa flight for the table... but for a Sunday (what I would expect to be a busy day; a day of POST-prep) we received not 1 but 2 dirty glasses that we had to send back. Additionally, it took us over 20 minutes to get not one the flight but the simple nonalcoholic lavender lemonade to the table and was never told what the delay was about. The owner Tiess (I hope I spelled that right) did walk around with a smile, and to greet the table. All tables, and that is always appreciated and noticed by me. We did express to her our concerns and she did ensure us that we'd be taken care of. Tess grabs our orders and later our food comes out. I have been to Milk & Honey before in Bowie, and I say that because I don't remember their menu being so "busy". The grits and fried green tomatoes as an example of said "busy" items. Overall, the food was okay. Their potatoes were overcooked said 1-party, while as previously stated, another party said their grits and the fried green tomatoes were too busy. Not that it was good or bad, just... busy. Too much going on. I personally had the whiting and it was the star of the meal. My side of (plain ol) grits came out and I appreciated them being plain....they were just cold. So... 3 it is. Last few things : 1. Please note that there is a 1.5hour wait time. 2. There is a dj. 3. There is outside covered seating available, overlooking part of the upcoming surrounding shopping center and parking lot. 4. An 18% gratuity is entered for orders over $150.

By the time it arrived, the celebration was already over, so that was a waste. The cake itself was honestly embarrassing. It came damaged and smeared. On top of that, the packaging didn't look sanitary. It was wrapped in cheap cellophane like it came out of someone's basement kitchen, not a professional bakery. I reached out about a refund and got nothing. No response, no follow-up, nothing. Apparently once they have your money, customer service disappears. At this point, I guess I'll just go ahead and dispute it with my bank since that seems like the only way I'll ever see my money again. Funny how that works. :) If you're thinking about ordering from here, JUST DON'T. It's not worth the money, the time, or the disappointment.

So I took it upon myself to stop by & get some cookies for myself and my parents before I departed for IL a few weeks ago. The ever so popular cookie flavor there is the prized Snickerdoodle cookies. So, of course, I took it upon myself to order a few. I ordered about 8 cookies for $5 or $10 (apparently, they do not allow ordering by the half dozen nor dozen, but by the eights. Such as 8, 16, etc ). I was a bit judgy & hesitant because the cookies were almost razor thin, and I was used to thicker, regular sized cookies. But as soon as I took a bite, I was shook haha they were so moist, soft, and delightful. Crunchy exterior but the right amount of crunch that it doesn't take away from the softness/moisture. The right amount of sugar and cinnamon. I think what makes this different from other Snickerdoodle cookies is perhaps the thinness and (I THINK, I could be wrong) the possible shortening base. They were so good, I decided not to be selfish and go back in to order my parents some to try I will say since it's been a while since I've been to Iverson Cookies, I got a bit lost because I could not find an entrance point (I'll be honest: I forgot haha ). The entrance point is between Mama Lucia and Chipotle. If you have bad eye vision like me, you'll have to walk up closer to notice. On Yelp and the physical establishment, it's listed as "The Great Cookie." On Google Maps, it's listed as Iverson Cookies. There's plenty of parking. The best way to get there is to drive or Uber. I am unsure if one can Metro there.
