Absolutely love this place! We recommend it to everyone. Great flavors! Love their flavor rotation! I don't even like chocolate but I love their mudslide! Staff is pretty friendly and helpful. I came across Bruster's on my way home from the salon one day, so my husband and I decided to try it out. A part of me wishes I had never found it, because everything is SO GOOD!!! Every flavor I have tried has been a hit. I love their fresh waffle cones and bowls, and the ice cream is so fresh and creamy. The Oreo cheesecake ice cream is my favorite flavor so far. I really appreciate the coupons and the loyalty app. Bruster's, you've completely ruined my diet and I love you. read more

Out running errands and it's getting hot in Phoenix. I decided I deserve some ice cream. Tried this new place, got the wedding cake and chocolate chip cookie dough with chocolate syrup on top. It was very good. Nice and rich and creamy. I look forward to trying more flavours and I think next time I will omit the chocolate syrup, which I *never* do, to let the ice cream speak for itself. They do not have indoor seating but the outdoor seating is in shade and there are lots of misters, it was perfectly acceptable at 102 degrees. read more

They greatly prioritize online orders over walk-ups. There were about seven workers in there but even though there was only one couple in front of us, they waited a good 10 minutes to even place their order in the walk up line. If you get ice cream there, don't walk up, make sure you order online because it'll take a long time to get your ice cream. Not a good place for an impromptu ice cream trip. Also make sure they get your order right, because we ask for a cone and we got a cup. Ice cream is meh qualiy. Not impressed. read more

One and done. Wasn't busy, but they still managed to get my order wrong, not once....but twice!!!! Banana split no whipped cream or cherry. You think that'd be pretty simple. Nope....first had whipped cream. She remade it.....with the wrong ice cream. To Baskin Robins, I guess. Heard great things about this place.....must have been a different location. read more

Wow if you've not tried Bruster's, please do! The Chandler location is a drive thru/outdoor window order. They have a large seating area to the east or the building with round group table/chair setup and misters for summer/heaters for winter. The menu is overwhelming and so are the flavor options. They e got several kid menu items, and kids under 40" get a scoop free. My kiddos loved their dino sundae which had a literal cookie shaped like a dinosaur. I had a single waffle and omg it was huge! Two scoops was larger than I expected! Even my husbands small scoop in a cup was a lot of ice cream! I had the peanut butter Reese and there was large chunks of candy! So yum! Unisex restrooms are accessible from the patio area and ample private parking. You can sample flavors and they even have pints and ice cream cakes. read more

Give this place a try for Your ice cream craving. Easy drive through lots of flavors that change daily from what I understand. I had a medium 24oz Blast with M&M's my usual goto at all the ice creams places. Not impressed with the prices but I guess that's going to be the standard these days. $8.20 total without tip. A little over blended so was almost warm if that's possible with ice cream. I'll be back to try other flavors in the small size and in a cup or cone next time. read more

The ice cream here is above the norm with very friendly, supportive staff. I had a sundae with banana pudding and pistachio ice cream and the flavors were rich and yummy. The hot fudge was on point. Love that they have a drive through for convenience and a large open patio to relax and enjoy your ice cream. I'll be back to try some more flavors...they even have a free whipped cream/biscuit treat for your furbaby. read more

Here for the vegan-friendly oat milk ice cream. Whaaaa. Drove 25-30 minutes to get my hands on some of the dairy free flavors they had... which was 4, but ended up getting three of the four flavors. Mint Chip * Cookies & Cream * Peanut Butter Oreo. All were amazing. The staff was very friendly. They stay pretty busy, so if you're in a hurry, you'll have to be patient or plan a time to go when they're not so busy... maybe mornings. My friend and I got milkshakes and there was a hole in the bottom of both of our cups. My friend's was leaking on his hand the whole drive home. I didn't know mine hand a hole in it until I got home and saw it had leaked on the floor and all over my pants when I brought it inside. It also got in my cupholder. The shake tasted okay and the staff were fine. The shake wasn't worth the cost of cleaning up a mess in my house and my car though. read more

Really Brusters? Please pay you staff a sufficient wage, so that they stop asking for handouts from in the drive through! Attendant shoves the entire payment screen at is through the window, asking for a tip. Its rude. Heading to Dairy Queen from now on. read more

Went w a friend for the first time a couple of days ago. Had nothing I wanted w choc chips or chunks. Online shows all kinds of flavors loaded w toppings. What we got was nothing like the photos online. Did 2 scoops to go. Tiniest scoops EVER and not really that good! What is the hype about this place? Will not go back. I write this once but it did not show up so I am rewriting it. Bad experience there in July 9th. Ordered at drive thru and the pic is what we ended up with. Two scoops in a cone that was so soft it would never stay in a cone. And the person working the drive thru was only focused on advising us that there was an option for a tip. Butter Pecan was vanilla with a lot of whole pecans but hubby said taste was bland. Mine was Boston Crème Pie. The flavor was ok but it was so melted I had to throw half away. read more

Cool ice cream spot here in AZ. Walk up and drive thru options and large patio that is dog friendly. Wide variety of unique, tasty flavors! BEST ICE CREAM EVER!! They have the best flavors that alternate so there's always something new to try. The staff is so friendly and the drive through is super fast and easy. They always give coupons after each visit which is so nice! I highly recommend the birthday cake flavor and Oreo cheesecake. They also have dog ice creams that my puppies love. This is my favorite ice cream place but beware, once you go you'll want to go back everyday!!! read more

This location opened by my house. Went a few times ordered the banana split. Yummy! I order it every time. Lately it seems like the bananas are frozen and the bowls are pre made. I live 2.5 minutes away and when I got home, and looked in the bag everything was melted. It never melts, ever. I hope they don't do this and put it in the bowl when it's orders. Thanks read more

How did we not know this existed before Tuesday! Absolutely delicious ice cream - so many flavors, so many choices, gelato, dairy free, & vegan! Ice cream is pretty decent the place is ran by teenagers so the customer service is ok could be better it seems like you wanna stay away from the milkshakes and blasts trust me you'll thank me later but overall good experience thru the drive thru wait time is about 15+ for drive up but the walk up window is savage and if you order online it seems like that has a bit of a higher priority for some reason just things I've noticed coming here a few times I'd still recommend to a family member or friend read more

They were offering free milkshakes to the first 100 participants and we were lucky enough to score one of those gifts! We decided to just take one and share it and decided on the Frozen Hot Chocolate, which is made with Blue Bell chocolate ice cream, hot cocoa mix, chocolate sauce, marshmallow fluff and a "kosher" marshmallow. I'm just not a big sugar fiend so I found the shake to be extremely sweet and gooey...wife loved it! I didn't try the marshmallow but she said it was good and she could tell it was homemade. We decided we would try the store in Gilbert at some point this summer to see what other goodies they offer. Overall, a good treat and thank you for the free goodie! Sorry, there was so much going on at the moment, I didn't take a photo of the actual milkshake!

And the verdict... she really enjoyed it and said that could have easily been her lunch. - Steak Taco: my coworker said they were pretty good, and very filling as she needed a box to take away as the soup was so filling. - Steak Burger: when ordering, they mentioned due to fat content, this had to be well done. That should have been my indicator to order something else. When it came, I was quickly disappointed and wish I went with the regular burger for the same price point. It came with tomato, lettuce, pickle, and onion versus this one which was pretty plain. Between it being fairly lackluster with toppings, the temperature on the cook deterred me from enjoying. Overall, I wasn't impressed with my food and was also disappointed this location doesn't offer cheesecake like the one in Jacksonville did. Perhaps this was a seasonal item, and I hope that it becomes a staple on all J. Alexander's nationwide as that cheesecake was DIVINE. A miss for me in terms of this visit, but my coworker enjoyed her tortilla soup and tacos so I settled on a 4 Star. I'd return and try different items next time if in the area again for work.

It was a lot cooler than expected on the patio which was awesome, as I was worried about sitting outside when it was 104. Great job with that Mexicano! But once we got our food our waitress stopped by to check in once and we didn't really see her until the end of our meal after that. No refills on water or check-in to see if we wanted additional drinks (which I feel like happened the last time we were in as well). There's a gentleman with a tiger tattoo on the back of his neck who stops in at some people's tables to check in and have chat, he's never stopped in with us.. it all just seems like the customer isn't a priority at this restaurant. The food is delicious, the drinks are great but for the prices, I want to feel more valued. I want to have that fun experience of going out for drinks in a vibrant high-end cantina where you feel connected with the staff. We'll go back but I would really love to see a more engaged customer support team.
