Best ice cream on 1488! Sweet friendly young kids working. Gluten free options! Mint chip is one of the best I've ever had (that's my fave flavor of ice cream) It doesn't help (or hurt?) that it's like a mile from where we stay when visiting family. Price seems reasonable for the large "small" you get. Huge fan and it will be my continued treat upon visits to Texas.

The ice cream is delicious! Good customer service! Good location! We came all the way from Houston and it did not disappoint!!!

It's 82 degrees at 10 pm so i needed a trip to Brusters. Omg there are few things better than their cherry vanilla on a waffle cone! Perfect stop for families or couples on a summer evening outing. Outside seating or just drive through if you prefer. Fun lively staff.

It's hard to hate on Brusters! While it's not your gourmet frozen dessert fix, it's certainly tasty, buttery, nostalgic ice cream and desserts, always evolving, offered in a convenience format. Formerly punch cards, they now offer a separate method to enjoy their rewards program. Want a nondairy treat, they now offer oatmilk ice cream. Love those Ben & Jerry's like chunks and mix ins, they have tons of textural flavors. Craving variety, check out their rotating flavors. Near freak? They offer cone guards. In a hurry, try the drive-thru. And if that wasn't enough, the service matches the product! They're certainly worth a try! Want simple vanilla- they got you.

    Love the drip stop!

Awesome little walk up in the shadow of the X-Scape movie theater. Lots of flavors and a variety of non ice cream options. While it is a little pricy, the serving is huge! The regular in the picture is 3 mega scoops and is difficult to finish. A really nice innovation is the little sleeve for the cones that keeps your hands clean! It can be a little difficult to eat the last bit but I'm sure it gets easier the more frequently you come. Which we certainly will.

"Gooey" is absolutely used in a complimentary way here. Where other big-name bakeries might make "gooey" cookies that just seem underdone, the softness of the cookies here is very intentional, well done, and lives up to the bakery name. Their thick cookies are fun and reminiscent of Levain Bakery, but their Bazookies are where they really shine (their version of BJ Pizookies). They can turn any of their cookie flavors into a Bazookie, and the consistency and flavor are second to none. As a self-proclaimed cookie connoisseur, I think Half Baked Goodness makes the best cookies in Houston. Tiny's is strong competition, but their cookies are completely different. Anyone with a sweet tooth will definitely find something to love here. - Ambiance: 5/5 - Food: 5+++/5 - Service: 5/5

Half Baked Goodness is indeed so good!!! The namesake "half baked" style equates to a THICCC, gooey cookie base that resembles a brookie (fudgy brownie + chewy cookie lovechild). Each GIGANTIC cookie (I'm telling ya, they weigh a brick and the size of my hand) is loaded with chips/toffee/special ingredients or schmeared with just the right amount of topping. I am obsessed with the Creme Brûlée, but I've tried some insanely good flavors from their rotating seasonal menu/weekly flavor features! While I have my top faves, I honestly think ALL the cookies are done well and worth trying! Do yourself a favor and grab a variety box. Bet you'll have a tough time picking a favorite, too. I keep making my way back here for a sweet tooth pit stop.... Also worth mentioning is the staff here are always very friendly, and the owners take a lot of pride in this location. They exude wholesome energy & lots of love. Hands down, THE BEST cookie shop around!
