Peppermint stick and butter pecan in a waffle cone -- soooo good
Carolyn H.

Amazing ice cream and service!!! They have holiday flavors -- loved the peppermint stick and peppermint Oreo flavors. The butter pecan was great and there waffle cones were so good! The ice cream shop is so cute and decorated well. Will definitely be back here again!

Bruster's Real Ice Cream is a must-visit for any ice cream lover. I recently stopped by on my way up from Virginia after seeing an Instagram video of the spot, and I knew I had to make a pit stop. I was not disappointed. The servings were huge, and every bite was delightfully sweet. It was the perfect treat after a long ride. The area makes for a nice pit stop to stretch but also plenty of space around the area for families and just hanging out. They had plenty of tables and large, lounge-like seats to relax. On a sunny day, I'm sure it gets packed! They have a large selection of flavors, I recall that was the main reason I threw it on my list of spots to check out. And the portions were massive. Certainly a good buy. I wish I lived closer to the location, so I could visit more frequently. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to stop by Bruster's Real Ice Cream for a delicious treat.

Oreo on top and cotton candy explosion

It was a busy day today for the Brusters team but they still did a great job making our ice cream cones. We got a Valpak coupon buy one get one free. I got the regular size waffle cone with a scoop of peanut butter, a scoop of cotton candy explosion and a scoop of Oreo. So good. Sososososossooooooo good. Darnell got the large cone with raspberry wedding cake, double chocolate chunk, peanut butter, and almond flavor. It just never disappoints. Love Brusters

Dino sundae - yum!

Brusters was always my favorite ice cream place. Haven't been in awhile (my son always wants Gelati Celesti). I have to say it was very disappointing today. Service is slow and not friendly. I asked for a single scoop with hot fudge, I got 3 scoops and hardly any fudge. I can see why Gelati Celesti is so popular. Fast, friendly and you can order how you like it. Sadly nothing like it used to be.

Noticed this location while getting my window fixed and I thought it looked interesting. Walked up, not a long wait especially that there were plenty of people there. There is many outdoor benches and tables available for customers to enjoy their delicious ice cream. They have very interesting ice cream flavors on their menu. I ordered the southern banana pudding and have to say it was good. They provided me the opportunity to try flavors I was not sure about. It was nice and cream; tasted more like bananas than pudding but the wafers made it perfectly well balanced. You can see and taste that their waffles are made there freshly. Some of their tables had ice cream melted on them but overall it was a great experience. Great shop to support local small business.

New fall flavors on 2021

Lovely options including seasonal flavors. Prices a bit high in my perspective but almost everything is nowadays. Blizzard like "blasts", a few sundaes, and a shake! We have going for years so why stop now?

Bright and airy space, almost like a spa!…read more Quiet when I came in weekday afternoon. Calming spot to grab a treat, get some work done/journal, or catch up with friends in an aesthetic and modern cafe. Ordered the paradise tea with mango and avocado. I loved the textures and layers of flavors. The drink was filling and lasted me a while, not watery but refreshing. The mango tasted fresh and avocado creamy. I haven't tried the pastries at this location, but have at their other Richmond cafe. Great cakes and buns made fresh in-house. Easy to find parking at the lot outside. Service is pretty quick.

The ambiance was clean and orderly. Upon entering, you grab a serving tray lined with parchment and some tongs. The items are in a glass enclosed display that you have to open and place your selections on your tray for purchase. I settled on the pistachio cream filled pecan pastry, the almond twist, and strawberry shortcake. The beverage menu was extensive: matcha, flavored teas, cocoa, espresso/coffee, and more. We were greeted by pleasant staff at checkout and our orders placed in a parchment type bag for take out. They also have seating inside. The pastries were just sweet enough without being overly sweet, which I like. The pistachio cream was a perfect compliment to the pecan encrusted pastry. The almond twist was both flaky and crunchy with the sliced almonds on top, and the strawberry shortcake had layers of real strawberries, whipped topping and yellow cake that was moist. All were fresh. All in all, a great place to stop by for a morning pastry treat and tea/coffee while in the area,

We have not had a single birthday party where several people have asked where the cake/cupcakes came from..... and we order bigger cakes now so everyone can take a little home. They are THAT good. I honestly like their boba more than any of the others I've tried because it's not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. I usually stick with the Oreo cream slush, that's my go to,but every now and then I'll try something different. I've had the brown sugar milk tea, the crème brûlée milk tea, and I believe the house bubble tea as well, and I've had no complaints so far. I also really like the atmosphere. It's clean, relaxed, and a nice place to sit. I usually go with my sister, and we'll just sit there and chat. It's definitely our favorite boba spot because their teas are so good. I haven't tried the pastries or cakes yet because I'm always undecided and I don't really like overly sweet things. That said, I see a lot of people raving about them, so I'm planning to try one next time, along with some other teas.

I hadn't noticed that she rang in the wrong drink different than what I said. When it was made I mentioned but said it was okay I would take it anyways then I noticed the cookie on top that we had also asked to not have as one of the kids has celiac and I wanted him to be able to taste it. The girl who rang us up had put in no cookie but the girl who made it hadn't noticed that I guess. The girl making the drink that was incorrect however was INCREDIBLY rude, never smiled, acted like we were a complete annoyance to her life. If you're open and will be open for over an 1.5 more hours acting like customers are bothersome to you is insane. We did not feel welcome in the least and left immediately after receiving the correct drink.
