We were trying flavors for an event, so we got three sample platters which are $9 each. They have a lot of flavors to try. I would say the flavors are hit or miss, but the ones that are good are very solid. My favorites include white chocolate raspberry, raspberry sorbet, watermelon sorbet, tiramisu, chocolate, biscoff, and oreo. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience here. The place was not welcoming of children and the flavors we had were lack luster. Flavors seemed to be mostly flavored with flavorings versus actual pieces of fruit (for example-didn't see any raspberry pieces in the white chocolate raspberry serving). I've read other reviews about a rude man there from 5 & even 10 years ago, & I'm definitely wondering if it was the same guy. He made it seem like we were such a burden going in there & we were disturbing him. Other than that the place was cute, with lovely Italian murals on the wall, & the prices were reasonable. Strawberry was a let down after having read the other reviews. The one carry out, a sweet cream, was inedible. I had brought it home to my boyfriend and he couldn't eat it. When I tasted it, I couldn't either. It tasted like freezer burnt Bryers Vanilla ice cream. We chose this spot because I can't have dairy at all and they seemed to have good flavors but I wasn't aware of how many they would actually have. Not sure how long they've been here in Richmond but I'm disappointed I didn't know about them sooner. Now, I'm not an expert when it comes to ice cream/gelato/sorbet, but I know that I usually steer away from sorbet because it tends to be too "icy" for me. But I got the berry and lime sorbet here and it was completely delightful. It was creamy and had real fruit flavors instead of the icy sorbets packed with sugar. I also have had their sweet cream gelato. Just as great! Super creamy and the flavor wasn't overpowering. It was more of an aroma of sweetness than a punch of sugar. Confused about what to get?
