I'm really picky with my Donuts. And from hearing people talk about Donuts and reading reviews I think I had higher hopes. My child ordered a strawberry sprinkle donut And I ordered a cinnamon twist. I'm not a fan of Donuts that have icing on it and this icing was super sweet I felt cavities starting in my teeth period now I know there's some people out there that love their sugar but even my kid said it was too much for him. The Cinnamon twist was OK It's just covered in cinnamon sugar (My kid liked mine more). Needless to say I'm going to stick with Old Faithful Krispy Kreme And oh mochi. read more

stopped by here after finishing up with an employee staying at a nearby hotel. it was 6:30 AM when I arrived and it was empty. the shop itself was very clean with comfy seating in the front. the back is where you can find all the goodies! their donuts are huge and the prices are incredibly reasonable! the owner was so friendly and quickly bagged up the items I wanted. IF YOU LOVE DONUTS, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TRY ASAP... you will not be disappointed. A dozen donuts regardless of whether it is a regular, specialty or cake donut is the same cost, where Sugar Shack charges a good bit more for speciality and cake donuts. You could get a dozen donuts for around $12-13 at Donuts Company. First off the owner is super nice and actually recognized me on my second visit with my daughter this last month. I've been there every week this last month as It is a block down from Aquatots which I take my daughter to every Saturday morning. Much more convenient then going to Sugar Shack and be disappointed by the insane line or running out of the actual donuts you want to get. To be honest, I think Donuts Company would give Sugar Shack a run for their money once more people know about it. My biggest complaint about Sugar Shack is that all their donuts are only edible the day you buy it. Donuts Company on the other hand I had no problem with day 2 and possibly even day 3 freshness of any of their cake, filled or unfilled donuts which was super impressive. On my first visit... I actually mentioned to the owner that I Yelp and that it has been on my list to try. They've been open for a little over a year but there really hasn't been much advertising. The owner mentioned that Yelp contacted him to accept as the business owner. I'd like to think I encouraged him to accept the invite as I think the little spot could potentially become a regular spot for many it certainly has become our regular. I also really like the inside... there are a few tables which allow people to hang out and there is a chalkboard wall and kid area which is also a big draw. My daughter loved it while I was picking out donuts. As far as a variety of donuts a lot of the basic favors... Bavarian Cream, Boston Cream, Cinnamon Sugar, Old Fashioned, Lemon Filled, Berry Filled, Choc w/Sprinkles, Powdered, Red Velvet, Blueberry, Bacon Maple etc. I'm not even a big creamed donut fan but props to a great Bavarian/Boston Cream filled donut. The Glazed Lemon Filled is our favorite! The powdered one is good too but something about the glazed... so good. I actually really like their cake donuts too... imagine crispy on the outside and super fluffy cake on the inside. Just thinking about it makes me really want a donut. I need to try their donut holes and some of their other sweets. My husband and I are currently on a semi diet as we decided to get into good shape as we are turning 40 this year, but will definitely go get some for this kids haha! I really do hope this place skyrockets as their donuts are awesome. My only advice would be they should consider opening Sunday morning at least till 12-1 after the early church crowd. I'm always bummed to see that they are not open in Sundays. Best donuts ever. No lie. I love a good donut and a strong cup of coffee. I can't speak to the coffee here; I believe they have a large carafe they can pour from and some bottled beverages in a cooler, so it's not a place where I'd make a coffee run but it could do if you're eating in. They have a small seating area that is clean. I've only ever taken my box of goodness home. And let me tell you, these donuts are flipping AMAZING. They're typically larger than average, with gargantuan cinnamon buns I daydream about, and generously filled jelly donuts, or twists with the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar dusting. The yeast rings with chocolate or maple frosting... it's all so very good. I count my calories but could easily blow half my daily budget here on a Saturday morning with zero regrets. Lol! Try them. Wow. Just WOW. Ordered the lemon glazed, jelly glazed, chocolate sprinkles, vanilla frosted, chocolate cake glazed, and a cruller. These were exactly how you want your donuts served at a traditional donut shop: fresh, doughy with a a little chewy bite, sweet but not overpowering. Just a real treat!
