    36. Tiramisu Paradise
    Nancy C.

I loved the variety of pastries and presentation at this location. However, we did go later in the day and everything definitely looked like it has been out all day. I will note that the items by the resister (cakes and cheesecakes) looked great. I ordered the cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious, and the tiramisu paradise tea. The tea was extremely sweet, however, based on the description I wasn't surprised by it. I would like to go back earlier in the day to try out the fresh pastries! Service was quick and friendly and the prices were great as well.

    13. Boba Brown Sugar Matcha - 10/10

With the new nice weather, I had to try a new drink. Their boba brown sugar matcha was INCREDIBLE!!!! I was nervous since I couldn't change the sweetness to less sugar that it would be too sweet but it was the perfect amount of sweetness! The matcha flavor came out too! The boba was the right amount of chewiness too! I also love their reusable cups with a hole for the straw! Very cute!

Stopped by this place and the inside is super pretty with a fancy vibe. A few people were there on their laptops - so it would definitely be a nice study spot, since it's so quiet. I didn't try any of the pastries but if I had I would have followed the sign that says to grab a tray, pick out what you want, and then head to the register. I ended up just getting a drink and went with the boba brown sugar milk cake shake. 10/10 would recommend!

I have been wanting to go to this sweet place like forever and we finally close to it we made a bee line to it. The place is open, wide and airy. It's like a 180 degree set up. They have a clean set up using tongs to pick up desserts. The smiling staff greets you upon getting in which is nice. The variety of sweet selection is delightful. The mango sticks and Oreo sticks are really good. We also love our taro milk paradise and the jasmine tea. All in all our escapade in this place is enjoyable. The pastries are delicious and the drinks refreshing. Don't mind coming back here more times. Thanks Brecotea.

This location is so beautiful, it is hard to believe this magical shop is tucked into a strip mall. I was happy to hear about it because I would not have known it was here. So many freshly made treats to choose from; there is also several types of beverages available. Super friendly service too. Enter a pick up a tray and tongs to select your baked goodies from the cases and bring them up to the counter to be boxed or enjoyed in this delightful setting. Everything we tried was excellent. This place is a must-visit!

The ambiance of the place is wonderful, good place to grab a pastry and drink with a friend. Their pastries are great and the service is kind. Give them a try

This location is slightly smaller than my normal location on Hull St, but it serves us the same vibes - lots and lots of options to choose from, Love there fruit danishes buts tried something new today...The Ube danish & did not expect it to be so good! I have never had a bad experience here & the prices are amazinggg! Always recommend the iced latte

This place is such a unique and delicious bakery! It's European style - you grab a tray, pick out your treats and head to the counter to check out and order drinks. They have sweet and savory pastries. The wonderful thing is the sweet pastries aren't overly sweet do you don't feel heavy after eating. I have tried a few different things here and everything and been good!

If you love baked goods and boba this is the spot for you! We got here late afternoon to check it out as it was opening day. A little sad that there were literally two or three pastries left in the center of the store, but I get it, it's opening day and towards the end of the day. There were plenty of cakes and slices of cake left though. So I bought the last Bacon bun left, a Black Forest slice of cake and an Oreo cup. All yummy of course. I accidentally ordered Brown Sugar Milk with boba.... I meant to order a milk tea with boba lol... but surprisingly delicious. Boba is by far the best in the RVA area, with the perfect chew. I can't wait to come back to get more baked goods. Glad it is close! I'll have to swing by later this week when it opens in the morning!!!!

This place has a lot of desserts! Everything looks so good! I had the potted plant dessert, and also the matcha brûlée boba drink. It's a cute place to have a seat and enjoy some sweets!

A very modern restaurant with an incredible assortment of pastries - sweet and savory. Very clean and well appointed. The staff was helpful. I found the large assortment a little overwhelming in a good way and look forward to going again to try different items. I had the cheese danish and didn't love it. Probably not a good first choice on my part!

Tired of the same old Starbuck's line-up? Looking to shake up your coffee routine? Look no further than Brecotea. This feminine yet chic and cozy space serves up absolutely amazing and decadent drinks and pastries to suit any palette . Savories, sweets and everything in between can be found in the numerous glass cases lining the walls of this Parisian-esque cafe. The soft, bright lighting and clean curved designs and greenery make you feel like you've stepped into a cafe right off the streets of Europe. To me this was the dream setting for a little girl's tea party and I can't wait to bring my girls (and myself!) back. I tried both a *cold* a *hot* house latte which was amazing- Espresso with steamed house milk and brown sugar boba . Their bobas are different than any I've ever had- think more chewy and gummy bearish in texture than light and bursting (at least the brown sugar- tbd for the fruitier flavors). It was so difficult picking just one thing to eat so we chose a bunch of different treats to share and taste- but there is no going wrong and just ENDLESS rows of goodies to choose from . My favorite things I ate were the chocolate danish (my litmus test for all bakeries) and an Oreo cream filled bun. Both were amazing and so light and flavorful- the perfect sweetness and texture to satisfy without sending me into an absolute sugar coma. 10/10 recommend!

First time visiting on our road trip from Maryland . Authentic fluffy buns ! The Ube bun had flavorful taro inside . The scallion or green onion twisted bun was a nice treat - the staff offered to warm it up which was perfect young ones! There is plenty of light here, and the decor is so beautiful and clean.

The sweet potato was equally as good but with a much milder flavor. And the cookies....out of this world! The servers were friendly but nothing over the top. Head caution on the milkshakes if you are not use to vegan milkshakes. While they taste good, at least to me, they are wildly different than an cows milk milkshake. I had been here once before and ordered my friend a birthday mini fruit tart and myself a cake. I remember wishing the cake was a bit more moist and curious to try other desserts. It was brusque but mostly not overtly rude, perhaps they were just busy getting ready. I ordered the charcuterie board ($28), a chicken salad croissant sandwich ($14), and the Lavender Bees Knees ($8). The drink was very pretty but not super flavorful. The chicken salad was good enough, but I think the croissant alone would have been wonderful. The charcuterie board had a substitutions I was not made aware of upon ordering (no pepper jelly, blanched almonds instead of candied pecans, and a green onion mixed type goat cheese with bacon in it instead of maple bacon goat cheese). They did add little pickles and the presentation was pretty enough, but no flowers like the owner posted photo on here. The meat was pretty thick which could be a positive or negative depending on personal preference, and the meat was decent quality. The fig jam was very good. The waitress who was helping the other tables had brought my food out but didn't check on me at all. I had to go up to the counter again to order a cinnamon roll ($8) and a coffee ($5) which she brought out to me. The coffee was nice and dark (Cameo blend) and incredibly hot. The cinnamon roll was okay, not very much cinnamon flavor but it was delicate and the icing was decent. The interior was pretty and it was a good spot to read a book and spend a morning.
