The creaminess is spot on and the flavor is incredible. I also love all the different random deals they do depending on the day. The outside seating is perfect for summer. We got a small ice cream cone with banana pudding and strawberry matcha flavors, and they were massive. The banana pudding flavor was so so good, very creamy and not too sweet. Bruster's Real Ice Cream is a great addition to the local ice cream scene! It opened yesterday, March 7th and is located at the NW corner of Renner and Custer in Richardson. The ice cream is made fresh in the store daily and there are over 24 ever changing flavors. 150 recipes on rotation. I downloaded the app and there is a huge listing of flavors that you can check which are your favorites and get notified when they are available! They have a selection of vegan non-dairy oat milk creations and you can even order cakes and pies! We ordered a Turtle Sundae and it was DELICIOUS! The vanilla soft serve ice cream was creamy and tasted so fresh! A nice mix of creamy caramel and hot fudge along with perfectly toasted pecans make this a winner! It's a little pricey at $7.49, but with the initial $3 off registration credit it brought the price down to $4.49, and $4.85 with tax. The staff took great care of us - Joshua waited on us and took our order and the manager was friendly and helpful and even gave us a coupon for our next visit! We will definitely be back! read more

Good to great textured ice cream, but some of the flavors are hit or miss. The prices are absurd when you can walk 50 yards into the Tom Thumb and get more ice cream and variety for about half the price. That said, I think it's quality. What I can't stand about this place and I've complained about it to them twice now, is that when you order online and then go to pick up, they all just ignore you as if you're a ghost. Of the 5 or so times I've ordered online for pickup, I've waited at least 10 minutes and then have to knock on the window. They all act like I'm inconveniencing them. It even has a sticker on the window that says online orders pick up here. Oh the irony. One time I got fed up with it and went to the order window only for the guy to tell me to go to the other window. Serious incompetence going on. I'm so frustrated by this constant experience that I won't be back. Apparently my time isn't valuable to them. read more

After reading the reviews on Bruster's my wife and I decided to give it a try. I ordered a single scoop coffee on a regular cone, and it was smooth and creamy. My wife ordered a single Oreo cookie in a waffle cone, and it was HUGE with massive amounts of Oreo cookie in the scoop. She loved it. The service was quick and easy. Meh, this place was way better in the pictures than actuality. There are a lot of Ice Cream places and you gotta be better than this to make it. My experience started like this, a young man was out front, a customer, asking other customers for grocery money. Now my heart and pocket bleeds for these folks, but don't let your customers get harassed while they wait for their food. My ice cream, Cookies N Cream, was served dripping. I should at least be able to get to my car in 73 degree weather before my hands are messy from being served melted ice cream. The flavor, just ok. I ordered a small and the serving size was really big. The cone it was served on was stale. My friend ordered the Chocolate ice cream, and while she was impressed with the size as well, she said hers was too melted as well and that it was far from the best ice cream she has had. Let's talk ambiance. It is all walk up to a window and then walk to another window and get your order. No drive thru, and honestly, to be competitive in those market, I think not having a drive thru window is a miscalculation. Whether or not it is a miscalculation, it's an inconvenience to your customers especially on a rainy night like it was when I was here. I live about 4 miles from this place and drove past 6 ice cream stores that are better than this to get here, so for sure I won't be back, though I wish them luck as I don't wish failure on any business. Ice cream was good, but I wasn't ready for their ordering process. There are no entrances like most ice cream places; they have 3-4 drive-up type windows that you can't drive up to or through, it seems they want you to order via there app and get out of your vehicle to get your order. They do give you nice discounts on your next visit, but not sure if I will revisit. read more

Omg so rude!! This lady with pink hair was so disrespectful to my mother. My mother didn't like her ice cream so went to give it back without asking for any refund and this employee slammed the ice cream back outside and slammed the window shut. Ice cream was ok, service not so much... on one side there is 2 windows 1 said pick up, the other says nothing just had the menu, we walk up to it, the lady inside just piddled around, drank her drink answered the phone and never once came and said we need to go to the other side that has 2 windows. No wave over no nothing.. Ok whatever.. went ahead and ordered. Instead of getting our ice cream ready. She took the next customers order, she's the only one in there.. took at least 15 mins for her to even scoop our ice cream.
