They do not appear to have much in terms of indoor seating, however they do have a nice outdoor area where you can enjoy your treat. Plenty of options including ice cream, sorbet, cakes/pies, ice cream sandwiches, shakes, sundaes, splits, mix-ins etc. The ice cream is good, not spectacular. Definitely a nice treat in the Florida heat. Service is very friendly and efficient. They do not accept apple/google pay. On a hot August afternoon, we had a craving for ice cream and found Bruster's. This was our first time at one of their locations and really enjoyed it. We all ordered cones and thought the ice cream was delicious. I really liked the chocolate raspberry truffle flavor. My wife had mint chocolate chip in a waffle cone and said it was great. Bruster's is a place you can rely upon for ice cream, with a rotating variety of flavors to choose from that everyone will like. I'm a sucker for the apple dumpling with cinnamon ice cream, so I usually make an excuse to come here a few times in fall/winter. The staff are all very friendly and have a smile on their face when you visit, so you always feel welcomed. Seating is pretty sparse outside, so a lot of people use the drive-thru, but I'm usually happy to find a picnic table and enjoy the night air for a little while. What to do after a good Italian meal? Find ice cream! I was familiar with Bruster's from my days in Raleigh where it was down the street from my home. This location was larger than my past location with a sea for freezers holding a huge number of flavors. What to chose? Naturally it was something I don't see everywhere else. Apple pie with warm caramel. Yummy. There is no inside seating so plan to take your ice cream to go or if the weather is right for it, you have a few outside tables. Our evening was warm(ish) so we sat at a roadside table. The guys in the shop were young but energetic and seemed happy to see us... it was really quiet. By far the best ice cream Tallahassee has to offer. My roommates and I love visiting Bruster's on a regular basis. The ice cream is always fresh and soft with chunks of whatever flavor you get. When I order Oreo flavor I can count on there being huge Oreo cookies within. The waffle cones are always fresh and crispy. I usually get the regular cone which comes with two ice cream flavors as I am usually indecisive and can not get just one. My only complaint is that the flavors change daily and there is no where to see the list of flavors before hand. We usually call and ask if certain flavors are available. However, the employees usually seemed annoyed by our requests. Sign up for coupons as there is almost always a bogo or $1 off. Also look out for the flavors of the month. This is my favorite ice cream place in town! I love when they have the banana cream pie flavor that is my absolute favorite, and the Oreo flavor is always filled with huge Oreo chunks throughout. Chocolate Raspberry Truffle is also one of the best!! The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because they don't post the flavors online and they change everyday so you never know what's going to be on the board. Sometimes I will call and ask about a specific flavor and for the most part the employees are nice. There is one employee in particular, I can never catch his name, who is always rude and always has an attitude when we call. He is snappy, sarcastic and just sounds miserable on the phone. Last night I called before I visited. The girl told me they had banana pudding flavor. When I got to the drive thru I didn't see it on the list. So I asked the young man "what banana flavors do you have right now?" He very rudely replied "obviously the ones that we have on the board." To which I responded "Well sir, I just called about 10 minutes ago and banana pudding isn't on here." So he was very quick to take back his comment and said "oh sorry yeah we have that one it should be on there." That's just one example, but there have been other comments he's made in past. They have their staple flavors that are there year round like cookie dough, cookies and cream, and more. The ice cream is creamy and flavorful, showcasing the exact flavor of the ice cream to the name (banana bread flavor tases exactly like banana bread and cookie butter flavor tastes exactly like cookie butter). Many of the flavors incorporate different textures by having cookie pieces or caramel swirls. Bruster's is my favorite place to get ice cream in Tallahassee. Anytime one of my friends wants to go I cannot turn it down. There are set flavors every month and then a few special flavors that are their "flavor of the month". They make their ice cream homemade everyday and you can tell. It's like no other ice cream around. Bruster's also almost always has a bogo waffle cone deal going on and that's great for poor college students like my roommates and I. My favorite flavor is Graham Central Station so if you ever go and they have that flavor be sure to get it because you will not regret it. I would have rated Bruster's 5 stars because of the service from most of their employees and how great their ice cream is, but I had to rate them with 4 stars because of the man they have working very often. He is just very rude and often yells at people on the phone, in person, and has a bad attitude about his job every time we go (which is very often). He works at a place that sells ice cream which should be a happy place yet he has a bad attitude and is rude all of the time.
