I like them. Not for an everyday thing admittedly, but I like them. Their chocolate is quite rich and mainly dark. If you want to have milk chocolate they have a couple of options. I don't particularly remember for white chocolate. They also offer many gift baskets and gelato. I definitely want to go back and try those. For now, though, have to say my favorite from them is their dark chocolate filled with raspberry. That is delectable, but again, I can only have so much in one go - very rich chocolate. I stumbled upon this franchise chocolatier that is owned by a local Tallahassean. Could not resist as the smells of delicious chocolate pulled us inside. Blythe gave us a wonderful tour of the chocolate and explanation of each area. She even offered to open a bottle of chocolate wine to try and our curiosity got the best of us .We could not resist.We did go home with a bottle to be consumed later.Who would have thought to put wine and chocolate together.Brilliant! We tried some of the gelato that is not made there .(It is from Jacksonville.)The stracciatella , a variety of gelato with milk based creme filled with fine irregular shavings of chocolate.It was originally created in a gelateria in Bergamo Italy and inspired by straccietella soup . On a visit to Tallahassee found this chocolatier. We were pleasantly surprised at how many varieties of chocolates were available. Blythe who was working gave us a tour around the shop and even invited us to try an unopened bottle of chocolate we be. Note, we tried it and bought a bottle. If you like out of the norm chocolate items you might enjoy this. They also had chocolate popcorn , self serve bags of dark and milk chocolates, and gelato which we also tried. They offer a variety of services including birthday functions, gift wrapping and each item bought comes in bag sized for your purchase no matter the size. Would return in the future. read more

I went 3 separate times and while the chocolate Dubai cup is great...the service is subpar. The younger ladies in the shop are always so nice and welcoming...but the older lady in the shop is cold and the last THREE TIMES I've gone my cup has been shorted! Mind you this is $15! I will not be returning bc I don't think it's ok to do this to your "valued customer". Anytime anyone else makes the cup it is filled up and layered. Smdh this is ridiculous and there's more strawberries than anything in the cup. Wish there was another location bc the chocolate is great. But guess I'll just buy the ingredients and make it myself. read more

I am always on a hunt for a good chocolatier shop and am thrilled I found Peterbrooke. During my stay in Tallahassee I came here three times. I came here to get treats but also gifts to bring home for family and friends. Besides all the cool chocolate option items they have to offer they also sold a large variety of gelato. I got to try their salted caramel, pistachio and chocolate gelato. All the flavors were delicious, creamy, and texture was perfect. They were cheap too a scoop was the perfect size. The chocolate gelato is super chocolatey which I like. For chocolate, I tried their key lime truffles which had chocolate fudge inside and key lime on the outside. It was really good and sweeten perfectly. I have had their salted caramel and toffee truffles which were also really good. Toffee is probably my favorite truffle. I also got some chocolate bars for myself and others. A bar is $7 and is well worth it. I brought some home for my mom and she ate the entire bar in one sitting because it was so good. I even tried their sugar free chocolate which I got for my dad and I couldn't even tell it was sugar free. Chocolate here is a definitely win. The people working here are very very nice people. Every time I came in they chatted with me. They answered any questions I had and were very friendly. Besides all the wide variety of chocolate items they had they are known for their chocolate popcorn which I will need to come in and try when I am back. read more

First off I don't have an ax to grind with this place. I'm sure their confections are excellent (if a little expensive). Among the best places in Tallahassee for gift wrapping service? Give me a break! I hasten to say they actually did wrap two small gifts . . . for ten dollars. It was like pulling teeth. They repeatedly told they are NOT in the gift wrapping business. They offer to gift wrap items purchased there (by stuffing some tissue paper into a bag with the purchase) only. Yelp and/or the business need to get it together about just what they do there. read more

My love for Peterbrooke began when I lived in Jacksonville as that is their base. Our local Peterbrooke is owned by local residents. Since moving back to Tally I frequent Peterbrooke throughout the school year to get gift baskets for my kids' teachers. They will hand pick goodies based on the teacher or person's tastes and fit it into whatever budget you have set up. They offer free gelato on Wednesdays. Their chocolate covered popcorn is such a treat I buy it for my kids and younger siblings for Christmas and special events. They have cake pops and offer other sweets for various diet needs (gluten free, sugar free). Their owners are sweet and you can tell they love what they do. Please support this business, especially since COVID has slowed business. read more

I came here for stocking stuffers a few weeks ago, and I've never witnessed a more friendly staff. They invited me to try lots of their goodies and even offered to hold my items as I was shopping. I always get the white chocolate covered oreos as they are always a hit. I highly recommend the chocolate with pretzels, and the hot chocolate is to die for. read more
