This is a great stop for ice cream if you are on Chaney Highway in Titusville, Florida. Do not think that this is a higher-end ice cream place. This would be more along the lines of a Twistee Treat or a Baskin-Robbins. There is nothing wrong with that. I have always been a fan of both. There is a decent amount of varieties of ice cream and choices on how you want that ice cream served. There should be something here for everyone. Went here to get their Hot Fudge Brownie. For the price I was disappointed. I got the banana flavor (2/5) which was very bad. Their death by chocolate was good (4/5). But the brownie was ok. I would give this place no stars if I could. Cannot hear the server through the speaker at all. I ordered 2 cones and after getting through the first scoop (they were two scoop cones) we discovered no ice cream beyond that. Not even in the cone. Moody service to start with. Hire some mature staff, please. The ice cream does not taste homemade. It was icy and did not have a nice, rich, creamy chocolate flavor. The actual color is like weak chocolate milk. It doesn't look like the pic on the drive-thru menu, dark chocolaty goodness in a cone. Also, they didn't have almonds, so we got pecans. They put nasty salted halves, not toasty chopped plain ones. Needles to say, we won't ever be back. We're better off buying Hagan Das and our own toppings for less. So the ice cream was good. Ashton was AMAZING. The other girl with half hot pink and half brown/black hair, wasn't good. We got there at 8:50 and they close at 9. There were 15 people out front waiting for their ice cream to be made so we went through the drive thru. We sat and sat and nothing happened. So at 8:57, we parked and walked up. We were next in line. The hot pink haired girl opened the window and said, "we're about to close and if you haven't ordered yet, you probably won't be able to." And shut the window. So we were kinda bummed. My daughter just sprained her arm and I promised her ice cream. The people behind us were sad too. They said, "if we're in line before 9, we should be served". So Ashton opens the window and takes our order. Y'all, this kid was so lovely. He was so nice. He had great spirits. Was jumping around. Fast and super efficient. He was great. It's now a couple of minutes after 9 and he's about to give us our last ice cream. He said, " let's take the people behind them. It's only 7 more people and we can be done". The pink haired girl starts cussing and saying how she hates him. Now she wasn't being mean but it was super unprofessional and you could tell she was annoyed. She was giving him a hard time. I hollered in there and asked for his name to leave a good review. She then says, "no. Leave him a bad review because he sucks". Then she slammed the window and proceeds to keep cussing. Anyways, Ashton was great. Get more employees like him. Pink hair needs to go. You need less like her. Bruster's offers a large selection of ice cream, low fat yogurt, milkshakes, sundaes, etc. It features a drive through and a walk up window for ordering for your convenience. This Bruster's seemingly always has someone waiting in line, though with the friendly and efficient staff it never has become a problem. They tried to overcharge me for a chili dog. I ordered at the walk up window, not the dive thru. The menu board said chili dogs were $3.39. The cashier, who is also the manager, charged me $4.08. I complained about being overcharged and she eventually just handed me a dollar to get me to drop it. Before I left, the menu board had been pulled down so the manager could increase some of the prices. Chili dogs are now $4.08. And to make things worse, the hotdog and the chili were COLD. WTF? I will not go back there. And FYI, Checkers has really good chili dogs. And they cost a lot less than Brusters. Same with Dog R Us. read more

The service was incredibly slow, our drive through order took 30 mins. The fries were overdone and not salted, the relish on the hot dogs tasted funny. There must be new owners. I went there and ordered a hot dog combos and ice cream. The ice cream order was fine. No problem. The combo of course comes with a hot dog, fries, and a drink. When I received a half a bag of fries and very little sauerkraut. When I asked about the fries they said that there was nothing that can be done about it. It was measured. I asked if I could have more sauerkraut. There was more mustard than sauerkraut. I spent $30 and I was not pleased. The owner was very nasty. This is the best ice cream in town but a little pricey for ice cream. The brownie fudge sundae is amazing. The ice cream flavors do change. The apple crisp flavor is my favorite but I haven't seen it back yet. My husband loves the thin mint flavor which I believe is another seasonal flavor. Doggie sundaes are free. My dog Sadie usually ignores the biscuit and goes straight for the good stuff. This is such a nice tradition. Dogs love ice cream, too. read more

I love their ice cream and my hubby loves the chocolate shake (he's old school no new fangled ice cream creations for him), however, the prices are high for ice cream....I mean we don't have a patent for the cure for cancer here. The staff is always friendly, but as far as efficiency I can't say the same. I just go prepared to wait. It seems from the time that I have had watching them that Bruster's require that the products be weighed for consisentcy in product volume and probably to try and cut back on product loss....however, it can be downright painful to watch the employees weigh it take away weigh it add to it weigh it do the hokey pokey and turn around before giving you your cup of ice cream. I by no means am saying the employees aren't doing their best I really do think its just that they are required to follow protocol that seems a bit excessive. Oh back to the ice cream...birthday cake is the best flavor, with cake batter ice cream, a ribbon of buttercream icing, and sprinkles...its super sweet though so don't order more than a scoop because the flavor is sooooo dead on and sweet that it will coat your tastebuds and you won't be able to finish more than just a scoop. read more

This place used to be amazing. Then they were sold to someone that brought in Nathan's Hot Dogs and ever since its been sub-par. We couldn't even stomach the frozen yogurt we bought last time. The service is also horrible. We can tell it's the owners and not the staff. Like when we go through the drive thru and have to argue to have lids (because we don't want to drive home with open cups of ice cream), or being charged for a cup for a doggie sundae when they've never done that and there was no notice of the change. Customer service here obviously isn't a priority. We don't eat ice cream a lot, but from now on I think we'll just buy a pint from the store. read more

This is an old-timey sort of walk up and drive-through only ice cream place. All the seating is outside. There's a decent selection of flavors; however, my biggest complaint is that the ice cream comes very soft and has already begun melting before you even take the first lick. We ordered five cones with five different flavors so I suspect the problem is with their freezers. The staff was friendly, but that's not enough to make me go back. read more

We were out and about driving around and randomly found this place. First thing I notice is that you can get $1 off a banana split if you bring your own banana. Very cool. I don't carry bananas with me very often but nice gimmick to set them apart from other ice cream places. I've been back a couple of times and each time the employees are always friendly and prompt with the service. The ice cream is spot on and they do have Nathan's hot dogs and other stuff. They seemed short staffed but our order took over 15mins to fill four orders. After waiting 15mins they informed us they were out of the ice cream for two orders, and the third order was wrong. Im not one to complain usually however this has been bothering me fo a while. It seems that our brusters in titusville is under new management in Titusville. I bought a 1/2 gallon of pumpkin pie ice cream oround last thanksgiving. From the first spoonful it was instant heartburn and it coated the inside of my mouth like i was eating crisco . It sat in the freezer for a month. I decided i wasnt going to be eating it. So i put it in the sink to melt so i could get rid of the container.after sitting in the sink for about one hour. I removed the top and it wasnt melted. I ran hot water on it and it still didnt melt very fast. I dont know what it was made of . But I dont think it was Ice cream. Terrible. I've been here three times. All times they run out of items listed on web site- even the flyer that came to the house!!! This time we did drive through. They were out of the flavor my boyfriend wanted- so he got hot fudge brownie Sunday. I got a shake. We pull up to the window with one guy taking orders and two other guys working the window. They were not that busy at all. The window guy says " can I get that shake" the other guy working rolled his eyes and they ALL acted like they DID NOT want to be there!! It was 8pm at night. We had many other places to go-sonic around the corner- the ice cream place by the old searstown mall (which is wayyyyyy better). After $12 we get home and it tasted okkkk. The brownie wasn't even hot.... there was two small scoops of vanilla on top. The shake was ok... next time I'll make my own at home. Overall not worth the money or the trip passed sonic and crossing the rode. Forget it. The workers looked like they all hated their jobs. Not one of them smiled. Didn't even say thanks!!! Visited this location with our 3 grandkids at 9:15pm based on Google's website information that they were open till 9:30pm. Four other teenagers went up to the window before us and were advised that they were closed at 9pm.... they mentioned to the clerk that the google site showed they were open till 9:30pm... the staff opened the window to tell them they were closed....obviously they were very disappointed. My wife also approached the service window and was told the same thing even though we had 3 excited grandkids waiting for ice cream. There are a couple of major things wrong here! First, the website that shows up first when the business is googled shows that they are open till 9:30pm.... who is responsible for notifying the most popular search website? If it's the manager of this location, they should be fired! Second, the staff were all clearly still in the store and not one person showed any empathy to the situation at all or offered to still serve us as they should have. Who is responsible for training the staff? The manager? Once again they should be fired! Here are the consequences.... we are regular visitors to this location... not only did they lose this sale of six ice cream cones on this occasion but they also lost all the future business of this family. We were so happy to find a place that served hard ice cream! Florida hasn't provided many good ice cream experiences. Space Coast Ice cream had a nice selection to choose from. The ice cream very declicious. My husband had the chocolate brownie which was served very haed. I chose the raspberry truffle which was delicious but was a little soft.
