This ice cream shop is awesome. The good: everything! The service was very good and delivered with a smile. She answered any and all questions we had and was very patient because we were a little indecisive. We chose to share the Chris Colossal because you get three scoops of ice cream and three toppings along with a brownie and waffle chips. Definitely worth the price. The ice cream was absolutely delicious and smooth. They have some tables along the side of the building with umbrellas for shade, and also benches at the front under the awning, that's where we sad. Lovely rainbow benches!! There was even a permanent hopscotch in the parking lot for the kids, that's where was super fun! The bad: just the parking situation. The spaces are small and there are only 3 plus one handicap and 2 motorcycle spaces. Sooo many options! Sorbet, non-dairy, regular ice cream, toppings. Plentiful. We got 3 scoops vanilla bean banana split. With all the normal fixings (minus the peanuts) but added brownie bits topping. Best choice ever. 2 scoops of whip instead of 3 because the Mr is unable to have dairy. That's okay though. Everything meshed well together and tasted so good! We ate the whole thing. Walked up and ordered and within minutes our split came out. Picnic tables for you to sit and enjoy. Got a little stamp card because we will probably be frequenting on this hot hot days. Might want to try the shakes next time! The lady there was so nice! Soon after we ordered 3-4 more cars came in. When we pulled into the very small parking lot we realized just how popular they are based on the number of people in line. Despite the line, it moved super quick and before you know it the friendly young woman behind the counter was taking our order. I ordered the junior nachos with dole whip; it was hands down the best dessert I could have imagined for a warm humid Florida evening. Solid ice cream joint, and it's so nice to have one in the nearby area... Service was very efficient, if not overly friendly, and the ice cream itself was all good - from their Galaxy offering (think Blizzard) to the hard packed stuff and the fixings they poured on - it was all delicious. It was my first stop at this little hidden gem where apparently I wasn't the only one who thought eating ice cream on a cold day was a good idea. What a relief. We spent a full day at Kennedy Space Center. The line for Space Dots (Dippin Dots) closed early at 5pm and the other line for soft serve was too long. I said, we could just find an ice cream shop closer to our hotel so I did a search for "Titusville" and this popped up. I loved this place! I don't know much about it but it was a man and woman behind the window, and it gave off a family business vibe. They have ALL THE FLAVORS. You can get any size and they'll do whatever multiple or single flavors you want. I got the raspberry truffle and toasted coconut. The ice cream was creamy and rich, and flavor filled. Best ice cream spot in Titusville! They just recent got Dole Whip so no more treks to Disney for a $100 ticket just to eat Dole Whip! Lol! They are open until 8pm which works out nice for an after dinner treat. I chose the toasted coconut which is to die for. Nice and creamy, not too sweet with bits of toasted coconut. Yummy! My son chose the orange and pineapple swirl dole whip which was very tasty! We had them on a regular cake cone. They do offer waffle cones as well. Prices are very straight forward. The prices on everything were very reasonable and there were more options beyond your basic concepts. I decided to go with a hot fudge peanut butter ice cream option that was LOADED with fudge. Places often skimp on the fudge, so I appreciated such as fudgy and tasty treat. Overall, Space Coast Ice Cream does what the name says: provides you with ice cream while out on the Space Coast. There are a couple of picnic tables on the side. I have to say the ice cream was quite good. Everybody in the group was happy with their selection. They offer kiddie sizes which is great. What was not great at all was their customer service. The lady taking our order was rude and impatient. It's an ice cream shop - they have to have some patience with kids. Even though there was nobody behind us in line she rushed to take our order and told us we were confusing her. They were very inconsistent with the amount of ice cream they gave from cup to cup some had two scoop some three. My son order a small (which is usually 2 scoops) and ask if he could get two flavors. The lady flatly refuse even though sure enough his cone came back with 2 scoops of ice cream. Based on the unpleasantness of the service I would probably not come back here. read more
