Dr. Foulk's practice is located in what appears to be a converted residential home which helps put you at ease. From the moment you walk into to door you are greeted by a pleasant environment with a fireplace. When called back to be seen, you are placed into one of several available chairs each of which has it's own flat screen television that not only allows for your entertainment , but also acts as an instructional tool so you can be as informed as possible about what they wish to do for you and your teeth. They can project your records, x-rays, and picture onto the screen and walk you through any procedure or questions you may have. Dr. Foulk is incredibly skilled at giving the best treatment while causing the minimal amount of discomfort possible, which also includes having the most up to date technology and procedures for making your visit as care free possible. All of this combined with having the most pleasant and professional crew of hygienists and assistants makes Dr Foulk the only dentist I will ever call on for my dental needs.

My wife had an appointment on Sept 24 so I call and asked if I could see someone on that date. They said someone would get back with me, no call. I went with my wife to her appointment and asked to reschedule my appointment that they had cancelled for Sept 11. I was told they could see me in FEBUARY. They had previously tried to do an implant for me last year but told me there was not enough bone. My dentist told me to get second opinion. I went to Kingsport and now have two good implants. I didn't want to go back to Kingsport because of the distance but this place has left me no choice.

Unbeknownst to me...I was required to have my personal physician AND my dentist sign off on neck procedure. My dr (having been seeing him regularly for over 4 years) signed off with no trepidation. Aspen DUNTal - MY ONE & ONLY VISIT there - said FOR THEM to sign off - would require the $3k cleaning PRIOR to surgery. Would not sign off until that procedure was completed. So very typical of a bunch of ne'er do wells!! I do NOT disparage AT ALL the competence of the dentists. What was so shocking was the business practice put in place ("for my safety."). Went to another practice on (3/14). Two in office signed off on it - a dental surgeon and hygienist. Teeth cleaned...& very well too - to boot. I had gone to office with singular purpose: to seek permission for surgery. Although I had to travel out-of-state for the office visit - it was well worth it. They not only granted my request...they faxed the paperwork to my surgeon's office - twice - line busy. They didn't even charge for the faxes! MY ADVICE: STAY FAR AWAY FROM ASPEN DUntal - UNLESS MONEY IS NO ISSUE - ever!!! Suggestion to any: perhaps investing your time & money in a "hometown dental practice." It sure may be more rewarding than aligning with the "super, chain-store mentality." I will not waste anymore time on this site...but am really curious about how the "corporate spin" on this will be. Someone...at EVERY Aspen DUntal site has "the job" of addressing (or...hopefully reading) patient issues and concerns. Am sure position is very lucrative and time-consuming!

The end total I paid was $31,158.20. The so-called discounts never materialized. The biggest issue was the snap-on dentures were ill fitted and painful to wear. The dental assistant had no idea on how to resolve the issue. Bottom line was I went to a different dentist, and he resolved the issue with in 2 visits at an additional cost. Be aware you will most likely be over billed for a poor-quality product.

I would rather pay less (fair price) for EXCELLENT services than more to pay for the dentist's bells and whistles and shoddy services any day! Try the services before judging the book cover. A week later, the disk was retrieved due to the fact of no one calling from the office to schedule an appointment. The glimpse of the inner office is frightening; smacking of someone who has no idea of what an office should entail nor have a grip on how a modern dentistry office works. We made an appointment with Dr QI to help correct the dental problems from the previous dental office. She was very professional, did excellent work as well as being very personable and informative. We finished the procedure today and the finished product is excellent. She replaced an poorly fitting upper plate with another that fit perfectly. She also replaced the lower partial that was not seated properly. It was high in the middle and when a bite was taken the front would go down and the wires would scrape the adjoining teeth in the front, when biting in the back to chew the back would go down scraping the attaching teeth destroying the enamel. Dr Qi sent us out for oral surgeon to install implants. All is well now. The previous dental office was not interested in accepting any responsibility.
