This business is open and doing AMAZING work! I only get 1 day off a week. Josh got me in, found…read morethe oil leak, repaired the oil leak, changed my oil, flushed my coolant system, and got me back on the road in less than a day. And the price was BEYOND reasonable! Hundreds less than what I was expecting to pay. Now, if you want an overpriced mechanic that takes too long and butters you up with lattes and your favorite magazine, this is NOT the place for you. If you want good people to do amazing work on your vehicle at a GREAT price, then Josh and his crew are a true godsend. Just wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Josh is the type of mechanic you hear horror stories about. I have truly never dealt with anyone…read morewith less integrity or concern regarding the veracity of his word. I would recommend written guarantees as far as what any deposit is intended or he will use it as he sees fit while you wait. Any questions regarding finances will immediately provoke a personal or irrational response to change the subject. He has more excuses than former-employees, which is impressive as I can think of well over a dozen in the months of frustration I had my vehicle there. After the 10 months and close to $20,000 I spent between him and parts, I had to have it towed to someone that will actually work on it and knows what they are doing to put it back together. He damaged a brand new fender November 10th and will still tell you he plans to get it fixed. How nice of him to make things right at his convenience. I could write a book about how badly this experience has gone. As such, Im happy to answer any questions and share screenshots of our text exchanges because I can assure you, you will not believe this is a real business talking to a paying customer. email: masterofexcuses3@gmail Before he responds that Im the problem do this simple exercise, Google both our names and bookings/release and you'll see the truth. Please do yourself a favor and take your vehicle and money to someone that will appreciate it. Edit: Josh is worse at telling the truth than he is repairing vehicles. At least 75% of his "clarification" is either deliberately changed to help him look better or just more flat out lies. The truth is he only came up with the "the customer drained the oil himself and deliberately damaged the motor after being without his truck for 10 months is there anyone with a functioning brain that thinks that sounds truthful? Its all in text message and Im happy to show anyone that is willing to believe the nonsense he spews out on a daily basis, most of which directly contradicts what he said prior. Just look at any negative review and find where he takes ownership...it doesn't exist.

Called and spoke to Asher about my car. He was busy but squeezed me in for a 3:00 appointment…read more Called me back and told me he was ahead of schedule and asked if he could send a mechanic over earlier! Perfect! Brett his mechanic arrived 15 minutes after the call. Brett was very professional and extremely knowledgeable! He diagnosed my car and found out it would run right because of corrosion on some electrical terminals. I was certain before Brett got there, I was going to pay a ton of money for engine work. Had I gotten it towed to a garage, I'm sure that would have been the case. Brett literally saved me thousands of dollars!!! Thank you both for your help! If I need an honest mechanic, I know who to call!

Upon arrival the brakes needed bleeding and checking before I could take it for that long awaited first drive! A neighbor referred me to Myrtle Beach Mechanics, and I'm glad she did! I called for an appointed and Asher got me on the schedule within a couple of days. Upon arrival Asher and Brett went right to work on my 50 year old VW and found a hidden leak in the break line, they were very thorough and double checked everything. Brett did a fantastic job and had every specialized tool needed to complete the job! They even checked and reset my tire pressures for me. Then they waited as I took that long awaited first drive to test the brakes out. I would highly recommend these two for repairs, they were absolutely professional, cleaned up everything after the repair and were quite pleasant to talk with during their time at our home! Many thanks. A+

DART AUTOMOTIVE is the place to go!!…read more I am 13 hours away and take care of our kids vehicles myself, so when my son called an said his car was not starting I needed a reliable auto repair center in Conway, SC. My son is at Coastal and his car wouldnt start at all on Wednesday. I was referred by DARRELLS BODY SHOP ( ANOTHER GREAT GROUP WHO PROVIDED SOLID ADVICE). I called DART's and spoke with Samantha (VERY HELPFUL!!) who told us to get the car there ASAP and she would do her best to have techician look it over before the end of day. Mind you, I spoke with her around 1130am on Wednesday. Vehicle arrived at their facilty around 1245pm and by the end of the day we had a fare estitmate (discounts for CCU student or AAA whichever is best she said). Vehicle work was completed as promised the next day by late morning for my son to pick up. They handled all paperwork through secure texting and document signing and payment. All work done within 24 hours, OUTSTANDING TEAM DART!!! COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY EASIER!!! GO TO DART AUTOMOTIVE or DARRELL BODY SHOP. GOOD LUCK DAVID

They Absolutely SUCK.....do you agree? I have a 2005 F-250, 6.0 diesel. It was running perfectly…read morefine, Zero Issues, it cranked up perfectly fine, i drive about 40 feet and it just shuts off, turns over fine but Zero fire or ignition. Speedily, Dart comes to recue with a Tow. They put the most elaborate diagnostic machine i have ever seen on it. The desk guy tells me, "We THINK its the High pressure oil valve." Oh no, i think, that's inside the engine. I should have said NO, i can't let you partially disassemble an engine on "we think" but i didn't cause i was leaving in 3 days for 4 months. Gave them permission, took about 9 hrs to disassemble and find out , Nope, that's not the problem. Asked permission to drain oil to check for contaminents, came back an hour later with, "Yes, you have metal in your oil, engine is shot, minimum of $35,000.00 for a new engine" I said, are you crazy, i ain't spending that. I got the guy directly behind them to tow to his shop, Twisted Wrench. A week later, he says, Yep, engine is shot. Finally got them to deliver my truck to my house, Twisted Wrench double charged me for the tow cause he was trying to steal at a cheep cheep price from me. I GOT a true diesel mechanic to fix it. ONCE he put back together the disassembled engine Dart left me with, he fixed it. He said, with those trucks, it's usually 4 things that go wrong 1) Low pressure oil valve 2) High pressure oil valve and i forget the other 2 things. All mine was, the $75 OEM low pressure valve and because my truck is lifted, that valve is right in front of your face. WHY THE HECK didn't Dart try a $75 part 1st....Stupid and Retarded if you ask me. By them missing the $75 part, they charged me almost $1,300.00 and left me with a partially disabled engiine that cost me lots to reassemble. I wouldn't recommend them to Anyone!!!! I asked the desk guy for a refund, he asked the owner, He replied NO! For Dart services I would recommend NO!!!!
