We were the only ones in the store so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was nice, but also a bit awkward. The store manager/owner was definitely knowledgeable when it comes to honey and a bit of friendliness would have gone a long way. I do appreciate the cute storefront and how neat everything was. We ended up with 3 little jars of honey and the chocolate honey caramels to take on the road.

Also, you can flavor test their products per request! They also host a small coffee shop outside! While at it, check their gardening stuff too! Lots of plants! I called Nick one evening completely panicked about bees gathering near my roof. He picked up right…read moreaway, asked for a quick video, and calmly talked me through what was happening. His reassurance alone made a huge difference and helped me feel safe until he could come out the next day, which made me feel better from the start. Nick arrived right on time with his team member and quickly discovered that about 5,000 bees had settled inside the wall above my garage. Watching him work was honestly really neat and educating for myself. He explained everything as he went, from how bees build wax to how their hives function and even their behavior. You can tell he genuinely knows and loves what he does. He handled two visits: one to safely remove the bees and screen the area, and another to screen all my vents to prevent future issues. Both visits were professional, thorough, and done with real care. Out of all the home service companies I've worked with (and I've had PLENTY of home services), Nick stands out above the rest. I've had the best experience with Nick and his team member. Knowledgeable, reliable, and incredibly dedicated. Our community is lucky to have someone like him. Owner Nick and Tech Julio quickly responded to our honey bee swarm and over two consecutive visits carefully removed the live bees and queen and patched the access they were trying to use. Talking with Nick (16 years in the business) I learned that our bees would be inspected and rehabilitated and would ultimately be pollinating avocados. I also learned their staff is totally commited to saving these bees once they are captured and have established beekeeping partnerships in the Central California Coast area around Santa Barbara.
