I took my 6 month old miniature dachshund for two nights to get her used to being in a new environment and interact with other dogs. I liked that they have a secure grass area too, unlike the PetSmart pet hotel I browsed beforehand. Bryan's boarding is also more affordable for boarding services. They were very communicative and sent me videos of my dog playing with another dog, it gave me peace of mind while it was her first time away from home. Definitely planning for future boarding services. I apologize for all the messes she made there, they cleaned her items a few times and gave me her toys and blankets cleaned which I also appreciated. read more

Dropped our newly adopted dog (Rosie) at this wonderful facility a few weeks ago for a weekend. It was our first time using a boarder, usually we use family or friends, but Rosie's size and breed had created a small issue. The whole process was great and the staff is very professional. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile (through a mask of course). She gave us a tour of the facility and explained the boarding process. They also let Rosie roam while we got all the paperwork set. We felt super comfortable with the staff and facilities. Upon picking up Rosie, we were given a detailed report on her stay and Rosie was very happy with her stay. I would highly recommend and will use again. read more

The experience we had here was beyond amazing. We had to board our dog, Oso, here for about a month and we could not be happier with the experience. Our baby Oso is very wary around new people but he warmed up to Miguel and his daughter right away. He was loved and cared for in a time that we couldn't. The kennels are very clean, misters are always going and they play music to keep the dogs calm. Miguel and his wife were always very communicative and kept us updated on a daily basis on how Oso was doing. It broke our hearts to see his daughter cry when we came to pick him up, Oso became a part of their family for the short amount of time he was there. If anyone is looking for a place to board their fur baby, I would highly recommend this place. You can trust them 100% that your dog will be safe and sound and well taken care of. I have observed Bryan's class that he holds at the dog park a few times. If I could give zero stars, I would. Not only is Bryan rude, the way he trains dogs is borderline inhumane. He uses the method of the "correction chain," and uses it to jerk the dogs around to get them to listen. I saw him literally lift a dog off the ground from jerking him so hard. The dogs looked miserable as the owners continuously yanked their collars, basically choking them into submission. It was awful to watch. I don't know why anyone would pay to have their pet abused, but i can only imagine it's out of ignorance or desperation that one would allow this man near their dog. I've taken my own dogs to other trainers who believe in positive reinforcement and have gotten great results. I would NEVER take his classes. read more

If this is what you want for your family pet then Bryan is the trainer for you! I have observed his abusive style. This is not for me, I prefer positive reinforcement. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Very stubborn and not easy to train. My wife and I tried Petsmart. We completed obedience training. We still was not able to walk him or control him. So we decided to find a better trainer. I found Bryan's Dog Boarding and Training on the internet. We stopped by to Talk to Bryan and he said let me see your dog. After 15mins. We were amazed. We left there filling confident and able to control him. We signed up for class and we also used the Boarding For a long weekend. I have been boarding with Bryan for 20 years. Fair prices. But more important, we never worry about the dogs. They enjoy staying with him and are always excited to see him. We have had five different dogs stay with him from labs, lab mixes, border collies and huge I don't know what he was -- and they loved being with him. We needed help training our newest member this year -- a border collie puppy and our 4 year old lab/mix. Both of them can sit, heel, stay. I had an opportunity to go out of the country for two weeks, but i have two dogs that had never been boarded before. I spoke with Bryan and decided to leave my dogs at his facility. The facility is very clean, well kept and the caregiver is amazing with the dogs. When i returned, they were running around and they went over and gave her a lick on her face. I knew at that point that she had been wonderful with my fubabies. I would not hesitate to leave them there again. read more

I wanted to be fair so I gave Bryan's Dog Boarding 2 stars. His prices are good and the facility looked fine. That's where the positives end. We have two dogs that get along fine except when put in a kennel together. I called three weeks in advance and made a reservation for two separate kennels. I told Bryan that they couldn't be put together and also explained that the pitbull was terrified of fireworks. Since it was 4th of July we discussed sedating her so I got a prescription from my vet. I called about a week and half prior to confirm my reservation and it felt like Bryan had no recollection of speaking with me previously. Then he seemed to remember me. About three days prior he called me to confirm. My husband took the dogs to the kennel and they put the dogs into one kennel and my husband told them we had reserved two kennels and reiterated it to Bryan and another lady. They indicated that they would put them into two separate kennels soon. He also discussed the Pitt bulls sedation for the 4th of July. Well........ The dogs didn't get put into separate kennels and my poor sedated Pitt bull got its face torn up when the dogs got into a bloody fight! Bryan did not take the dog to the vet or call us. My poor baby was a drugged defenseless sitting target. It makes me sick as she is a sweet loving gentle dog. We know (and Bryan said as well) the lab is the aggressor and this is why we wanted them separate in an unknown environment during the stress of fireworks. Obviously after my dog was nearly killed the dogs were separated. I went out of my way to avoid this! Then when he told us he acted like it was a last minute placement and he didn't have room and didn't know? Three weeks notice is NOT last minute placement. My husband told them and my daughter heard him tell them twice. I am posting a picture of my dogs face one week later when we picked her up. I have used Bryan for over 8 years, for the boarding and training of our two labs....my dogs will never go anywhere else! He most recently boarded my two labs and my Mom's chihuahua for my son's wedding a couple months ago and when we got there to pick them up, they didn't want to leave? LOL. That didn't hurt our feelings, but made us feel really good :) Our dogs have always been very well cared for and we can tell by their reaction of wanting to stay. His facilities are very clean and well kept, with music sometimes playing, misters going in the summertime and provides blankets in the winter time. We don't dread planning vacations where we can't take our furbabies because we know they're looking forward to their vacation at Bryan's:) read more

Bryan's dog boarding is the worst boarding in the area. They over board dogs. Licensed for only 10 but they have over 20 most times. The dogs are not let out regularly. The General manager is extremely rude over the phone. They claim just because of their low prices they provide the best service. Not true. Your dogs will come back under fed and in terrible shape. I will not be going back there. Please do not board your dogs here. The kennels are filled with dog poop from the lack of being taken out. They might look good a first but your dogs will be mistreated. Please stay away. Pay the extra money somewhere else and have your dogs treated properly. John John read more

Bryan took my untrained 7 month old shepard/lab mix that had been abandoned in my yard and who had issues and turned him into a delightful member of our family. I brought him home after he spent 5 weeks with Bryan and I'm not sure he wouldn't have rather stayed with Bryan. He definitely felt at home. Right now he is "in his spot" in front of the fireplace and even though I told him he was "free" he chose to stay there. I have learned along with Grover and will continue to work with him every day so that he retains his lessons. It has been really good for both of us! read more

Just completed 5 wk board and train at Bryans. He was recommended by our vet and his staff. Have had dogs all my life and never needed a professional trainer UNTIL we rescued an 8 wk pup now a year old. We love her so much but she was getting mouthy, unruly, VERY stubborn and willful..jumping on us all the time. I was allowing her to act out and develop some pretty bad habits. She wouldnt listen to us. I was very skeptical ...not being rich and hearing of the exorbitant costs and how some trainers break the spirit of a dog. Not with Bryan..be only broke all her bad habits. First time meeting Brian she was attempting to jump on him. He did some quick hand arm move. She immediately went to lay down in front of him facing us. He GOT her and she GOT him! He told us she will be a very different dog at end of program. ( she was and even more loving!) I noticed on repeat visits she liked being around Bryan. His wife, Kim, nurtures still reinforcing everything Bryan teaches. Our pup fell in love with her, too. Sometimes Bryan has you watch.remotely so you can witness improvements and behaviour when your dog doesnt think you're there. It can get hilarious. Not to sound crude but Bryan can smell BS 5 miles away. He's straight up, honest, reliable and full of heart. Remember he reads people as well as dogs. Its a learning experience that truly changes your world. He'll send you text pics/videos so you are updated as he goes along. His asst Tammy is a sweetheart. Love really abounds here. Can't fake that. Dogs let you know. When I first walked into his Kennel area it was so quiet and no smells. I thought they would all be vacant. Nope...almost all filled! Just relaxed pups comfortable and given good and loving attention. I did hear a couple barking and get excited when they were bringing back.a couple dogs from their walks. Brian gave some high pitched sound and immediate silence. I asked him what that was all about. He just smiled. Kennels are squeaky clean LARGE, covered. .each with its own doghouse inside and lots of clean warm blankets. Sometimes soft music is playing. Misters in the summer. He takes his work very seriously..and he could charge a lot more. But I have come to understand his devotion to the lives of dogs..just wanting to save one more dog from being put down because of mishandling, well intentioned parents but ignorant of the right tools to communicate in DOG language. It's really not a mystery anymore although sometimes it seems like magic. 35 yrs of experience to make it look like that. I use to watch The Dog Whisperer from the onset but Bryan has no EDITING when you watch his work. He teaches you what and how to do it. Just LISTEN. I've honestly never seen anything like him...and I thank him from the bottom of my heart. Our pup now has a new adopted home at Bryans.She absolutely loves it there. I have been boarding my dog at Bryan's for over 5 years. The prices are affordable which is very important if you do a lot of traveling. The facility is semi-outside but is covered. The dogs are exercised daily. This is a friendly and dependable location. My dog has bonded to the daily caregiver which means the care is good. It's important to me to know my dog is safe and happy. read more
