Bought a quarter of beef and pork. It was 100 pounds of each we have not had one bad piece of meat. This place is fabulous.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND "BRYANT BEEF" FOR PROCESSING DEER. I REPEAT! DO NOT RECOMMEND. I got summer sausage that was absolutely DISGUSTING! Make you want to vomit. For one they place your deer in a "freezer truck" that is NOT RUNNING. And told me the meat stays good. I had to take the meat back. Said one order of it was "over cooked" and one order was fine. (Took 2 deer) They want me to take off work to come pick the "good meat" back up that was their mistake from the begging. So why should I miss work for this nasty place? This place is a joke! Me and ole Hannah do not see eye to eye as she is rude AF. This place should be ashamed to even call themselves " deer processors". I have wasted money at this place even fuel money to return meat that should have never left there. Alex is "too busy" to even call somebody back cause he knows how crappy of a person he is screwing people. And they are LIARS!!! They said that the meat I received came from the deer i brought in, but yet they offered to make me more without me bringing a deer in for processing. We purchased a half beef for $1200. First issue is the source of product. Bryant's property is 11 acres. Not a lot of room for a herd, and certainly not the land displayed on their website. So where does the beef actually come from? They "work with local farms" - really? Then how come the Brisket appears to come from Colorado- at least it's packed there according to the label (Clear River Farms). When ordering half beef, I expect to get half of one animal. What I received is clearly not. The quality of butchering is diabolical, not the work of a professional butcher, the cuts of steak are completely random, from a half inch to near two inches. Some weigh almost two pounds! Most were not trimmed properly- way too much fat. Sad to say even Walmart do a way better job. Lastly they "pad" the order with cheap ground beef - a lot of it. I didn't order any, even with the last option, I selected "more stew". We received almost 50lb of ground beef and just 2 1/2lb of stew. When adding the two Brisket - 28lb (I expected one, however it isn't clear on their order form) and 34lb of Chuck, that's now most of what received (112lb out of 194lb total). When you factor in the high prices they list on the labels, you are not saving a penny by ordering in bulk. On the plus side, the New York Strip we had had good flavor, albeit difficult to cook due to random thickness. read more

If you want tough or spoiled meat this is the place to go. I would recommend you steer far away from this company. Owner is extremely rude to his customers when they leave a review he doesn't like instead of holding himself accountable and making it right. This meat is NOT local. If I could give them a zero star I would. I have already called the store and complained and they refuse to do anything to resolve the matter. I ordered half a cow and received my supposed order on 2/21/24. Buyer Beware what they don't tell you is it's from multiple cows not just one and processed on multiple dates. Which they don't even print dates on the meat now. Everything online guarantees "at least 200lbs" of meat. I got my order and brought it in and started putting it up and noticed there were no ribeyes or sirloin steaks. I called within 30 minutes of the delivery man leaving my home. I did a full count and documented pictures of everything I received. I have about 180 lb total (88.63 exactly in roasts and steaks and about 90 packs of 1 lb ground beef) so I'm shorted at least 20lb of meat. The sheets clearly state 10-12 ribeyes included and 5-7 sirloin steaks. I got none of either item. She asked if I signed off on their paper I said yes as I thought I was signing it was delivered I didn't want to hold the delivery guy for me to count everything but had I known I would have since this is their "proof". They says since I signed off they don't have to do anything it's just a check mark on the sheet not a lb description so how can it be proof of the full order. That's what they are counting on that you trust the order is all there and just sign. Shame on me I had no clue I was signing that I received exactly what's checked on the sheet. We've been customers for 3 years not anymore. I should've learned when I had problems with my order last time as well but she found the error and made up for it then. It's awfully coincidental that's it was the exact same thing missing from both orders... both Ribeyes and sirloin steaks. The ribeyes are my pet peeve as that's the main item we order for and that's a lot of money 10-12 steaks is a lot ~$200. I have recommended Bryant multiple times before NEVER AGAIN. read more

I purchased a quarter of beef from Bryant beef in the summer 2022. It was very lean cuts, and great tasting meat. I was happy to be able to purchase from a local farm and mostly because my grandparents used to have a dairy and beef farm two and a half miles from them. This is where I spent most of my childhood. In July 2023 I purchased another quarter of beef from them. Not at all lean. Walmart beef doesn't have this much fat. I have had to remove approximately one third fat from each steak and roast before cooking. I was very disappointed with this, but figured it was a new processor, and I would bring it up when I made my next order. In September, I noticed a large roast ($34.98) in my freezer had lost its vacuum, or wasn't properly sealed in the first place. My wife went through the remaining meat, and found a pack of New York Strip steaks ($30.08) that had lost the seal also, but didn't appear to be frost on it. So, I decided to grill them the next day. I took one bite and realized it was no good as well due to losing its vacuum. I called about the issue of the meat losing the seal and getting frost bit. They will not due anything about it. They said if it would have been within 30 days, they "might" have been able to do something. I won't be making any more purchases from them in the future! No customer appreciation for returning customers. read more
