Lovely views, delicious salads, well paced, yet not rushed service. Deconstructed NY Cheesecake is perfect with graham cracker ice cream & crumble crust. Shortbread "stick" goes well with coffee too.

My family and I enjoyed a truly lovely lunch at Bryant Park Grill after watching the Rockettes, and it couldn't have been a more perfect experience. We were seated in the tented area, which felt absolutely magical with its floating lights and the surrounding trees--it created such a cozy, special atmosphere right in the middle of the city. To start, we ordered the grilled bread with vegan spreads for the table along with the potato leek and roasted red pepper soups. The bread and dips were a delightful way to begin the meal, and the potato leek soup was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. For our entrées, we chose the branzino and the seafood pasta in cioppino sauce. The branzino was light, flaky, and beautifully paired with delicious vegetables. The seafood pasta was hearty and warming--my husband and I split it, and it was more than enough to satisfy us both. Everything about the experience impressed us: the food, the ambiance, and especially the service, which was incredibly attentive and fast without ever feeling rushed. If you're visiting New York City and looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend Bryant Park Grill. It was a wonderful meal and a special moment for our family.

It's not as expensive as you think. My wife and I met up with some friends who were from out of town and we ended up eating here. It's the second time I've been here. The first time was when the company I worked for back then had their holiday party there. The place does look upscale, especially compared to the surrounding establishments. It is spacious. The waitress was very friendly. She allowed us to order from both the dinner menu and the brunch menu since we came in where there were on the verge of changing meal times. The food was very good. We shared the dishes we ordered among each other. Everything was flavorful and delicious. No complaints. Because we shared, the bill turned out pretty reasonable. The rest rooms, though, was downstairs and can get crowded real quick. If you're handicapped, it may be difficult for you to get there. Otherwise, it was a good dining experience. I would recommend the place if you're willing to spend a little more. Or, do what we did, order a few entres and share it among yourselves and save some money. The portions are generous enough.

A tasty dinner, great service and a lovely venue on this beautiful summer evening. We've dined here many times, and find the service to be very good during quieter times. For example, this evening our reservation was at 5:30pm, and there were very few patrons. Our waiter arrived quickly, ice waters were served promptly and we ordered: * Cauliflower Frites (toasted almonds, romesco and pesto sauces) $17.50 * Grilled Moroccan Lemon Chicken Paillard (garlic mashed potatoes, grilled organic carrots, pearl onions, tomato, caper & herb sauce) $29.95 * Wild Mushroom Ravioli (grilled artichokes, cherry tomatoes, spinach and edamame in a parmesan broth) $27.50 The Frites arrived quickly, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, hot and tasty. This was more than sufficient for two, we thought these were yummy. The entrées arrived about 10 minutes after we finished the Frites. The chicken was nicely prepared in a tasty sauce, I'd be happy to order this again. The raviolis were delicious, with a strong but not overpowering mushroom flavor. Service was excellent, and the venue overlooking beautiful Bryant Park was sublime, on a perfectly pleasant summer evening.

I was pleasantly surprised by my yummy breakfast here! I lived in NYC for 7 years and treasure the city for its diverse food scene, so I rarely visit "grills" that serve American food, but one of my friends really wanted to try this place. First of all, the setting is unbeatable. This restaurant sits INSIDE the legendary Bryant Park. The front wall of the restaurant is all windows, so we were able to look outside at all of the fall festivities, which felt really magical. We were seated quickly, and overall the service was attentive and polite. What really blew me away was the food! I ordered and orange juice and the Challah French Toast, which came with berries, creme fraiche, raspberry jam, and syrup. This was maybe the best french toast I have ever had. It was so warm and fluffy, with a thin crispy layer on the outside. The creme fraiche was the perfect touch to mellow out the sweetness of the jam that was already smeared on top. The only complaint I have, which is why I am giving this four stars, is that the french toast was pretty sweet. I ended up not using any syrup (which I typically love) because the french toast, jam, and berries combined were already very sweet to being with.

Is it mind blowing? No, but also... I mean... it's the Bryant Park motha-friggen Grill! Cmon! It's such an amazing spot, a great location, a grand atmosphere, good food, okay service, and and and they have matchbooks! What's not to actually love? Living nearby made it a super awesome, convenient treat! Sad to hear they were leaving, but I'm a bit confused because they're still here; definitely not mad about it. This is a great solo dine at the bar spot or even a quick drink meet up for a date or something. It's in the dang park!

Been here three times in the past few years and it's definitely a nice restaurant outing spot in midtown and right in Bryant Park. Have tried both the indoor and outdoor seatings and love that they have plenty of seats depending on what you're feeling it. I like the appetizers they have and the variety of choices really ensure there is something for everyone. I usually get their fish entrees like the Branzino which is always good. Service is good and staffs are friendly and helpful.

    Moroccan Kebabs
    Lubie A.

My friend and I booked for early dinner at 5:30 & we were seated promptly by the window, as we requested. The service was fast and smooth. We decided to have small plates of Moroccan kebabs and calamari to start. The kebabs came in threes, on the bed of delicious eggplant pure, sweet roasted pepper strips, a few scattered baby spinach leaves & a hot (what appeared to be) a green jalapeño pepper. This is a must-have dish: unique in offered ingredients and extremely flavorful. The calamari, on the other hand, were a disappointment: gooey batter and poor tasting calamari. But the atmosphere was festive, lively, upbeat and happy. The noise level was high though. We decided to have desert elsewhere as it was hard to talk & hear each other.

Went for a quick business lunch. Restaurant was busy and buzzing as usual. Had all the to share appetizers and I got the chopped Cobb salad with salmon. Had lots of ingredients and was a very filling meal.

What a great rooftop bar experience! The place reminded me of Paris. What a view! The bartender was very knowledgeable and provided recommendations tailored to my preferences.

We enjoyed our lunch at Bryant Park Grill. Lovely atmosphere. Love that it is in one of my favorite parks in Manhattan. If you're in midtown it's worth going to. We went on a week day and didn't need a reservation. The best part is its fantastic location.

    Chilaquiles

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon for my Birthday brunch. Twas a beautiful day and the dining room had such great ambience. Glad we reserved because it was packed. We planned on having a day in city so we didn't want to eat too heavy. The hubs got the Crispy Korean Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which came with Kimchi, Sriracha Mayo, Spicy Asian Slaw, which he loved. The perfect portion and amount of spice. My daughter, who is a vegetarian, opted for the Breakfast Burrito, which consisted of Scrambled Eggs, Refried Beans, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo in a Toasted Wheat Tortilla, served with a side salad. I had the Chilaquiles, which was served with a Hen of the Woods mushroom, along with Fried Fresh Farm Eggs, Avocado, Oaxaca & Cotija Cheese. Quite filling. Couldn't even finish. Kick myself for not finishing because they were that good. We partook in some adult beverages. The hubs had a spicy margarita, which consisted of casamigos spicy tequila, jalapeño simple syrup & fresh lime juice. It was delicious and packed a punch. I had the tropical white sangria. So good. Can't recall the exact recipe but it was delicious. Tips. Very important. Always reserve - can get packed. Everything was so delicious. Will return soon! Didn't get pics of my daughters burrito.

Held at the beautiful rooftop garden at Rockefeller Center overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral, the setting alone was worth the trip. As the sun set behind the Manhattan skyline, guests were treated to an evening that felt equal parts whiskey education, culinary experience, and celebration of American craftsmanship. The WhistlePig team put together an outstanding lineup of cocktails and rare whiskey pours, each thoughtfully paired with a multi-course dinner. Every course felt intentional, from the beautifully presented appetizers and seasonal produce to the perfectly cooked beef course and creative dessert finale. The food wasn't just an accompaniment to the whiskey it stood on its own. One of the highlights of the evening was host Max Miller of Tasting History. His storytelling added depth and context to each pour, connecting American history, whiskey culture, and the culinary experience in a way that kept the entire table engaged. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. The tablescape, service, pacing, glassware, cocktail program, and overall guest experience were executed flawlessly. Nothing felt rushed, and every element contributed to the story of the evening. WhistlePig continues to prove why they are one of the most innovative names in American whiskey. This wasn't simply a tasting event it was an immersive experience that celebrated history, hospitality, and craftsmanship at the highest level. Yes, the views are amazing, however the weather has to be just perfect. Especially if you plan to use the outdoor patio. Which, why wouldn't you? The location is prime, if you plan to take a car, remember this is NYC & traffic is bad. You can probably walk faster than a cab or car service. Especially during the month of December. NYC gets more visitors in December than all year long. The venue has 2 bathrooms for women which is not good, however worked for this crowd. Why, stop by the Holiday Home of course!! Held in a historical mansion on the Upper East Side of New York City, come prepared to be inspired and enchanted as you walk through the house, each room designed by a different interior designer, to a different holiday theme (think, New Year's Eve, St Pattys, Christmas etc) or special moment in life. Every single room here is SO gorgeous, with furniture from some of the most luxurious brands in the world. As I walked through the rooms, I imagined what it would be like to live in a house like this, a life of luxury, with cocktails at 3 and constant dinner parties. And if you're one of the lucky few who can actually afford to live in a house like this, then the Holiday Home would serve as a life sized inspiration board for you... You get a catalog at the entrance and it serves as a reference to any piece of furniture displayed in the house. The designers themselves are also there in their respective rooms and are more than happy to talk to you about their work / offer to come design your house (if that's what you're looking for). It is a $35 entrance fee that goes towards the Breast Cancer Foundation, though, even if it didn't, so worth it getting to spend an afternoon in the shoes of an Upper East Sider. Lastly, everyone's so incredibly nice (you'd expect them to be snooty but there are absolutely no airs here), though, I would dress nice and perhaps not show up in sweats if I was gonna go. Haha. There is also an adorable little heated courtyard cafe that serves up ready made sandwiches, teas and (not so yummy) macaroons. But very nice and pretty to sit at. All in all, one of my favorite things we did in New York this past trip! Perfect for getting into the holiday mood (:
