Stayed right down the street from Rosemary's so we came here for dinner and made reservations online we did arrive 15 minutes early and they don't really have a waiting area and it seems to always be packed so I recommend coming right on time. We made a reservation for this place and I would say you might need one because it did get busy while we were eating and sitting and drinking but we went here for brunch/lunch. We actually got there for the lunch menu so if you want brunch make sure you get there earlier, but the lunch was so delicious. We all got Panini's. We also got drinks And the drinks were really good. They have like specials for the spritz and they have a lot of flavors, which is really fun to pick and choose but every flavor that everyone got was really yummy and everyone was satisfied for our food. I ordered the chicken Panini and it was so good. The chicken was so juicy which I feel like it's really hard especially with the chicken cutlet, but they made it so well. Also, the Panini's come with homemade potato chips and usually I don't like homemade potato chips, but these were actually really really yummy. The inside of the restaurant is really pretty. It's very clean looking and fresh and the style is also really chic and classic but trendy at the same time. There is a warning that the bathroom is unisex and it's a shared bathroom meaning shared sinks to wash your hand with stall, so you might be washing your hands with a different gender, but honestly, it doesn't really matter that much But I know some people could be bothered by this so The place was really nice. The food was super super delicious, we ordered the chopped salad and mushroom & sausage pizza. The pizza was really yummy and light! Definitely try it out! I have visited Rosemarys twice: once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times I have participated in the prix fixe options and both times I was so happy I did. The quality and portion of the food was pleasantly surprising. For lunch I've tried their market greens salad and Italian panino, and for dinner I ordered the Pappardelle. One of my favorite things though was the antipasti platter that comes with dinner. Both times I've been there, service has been friendly and quick, but not too quick that we felt rushed. I also really like the layout of the restaurant - it's very large and accommodates many tables, but it doesn't feel cramped. Will definitely be returning! I went to Rosemary's when it first opened in the west village-they had a tiny space and I went for lunch and sat at a countertop bar to eat their famous burger topped with shoestring fries. It was very, very good. I had no idea Rosemarys was an Italian restaurant and this location is nothing like the first. We had a 5:30 reservation-restaurant was pretty open but by the time we left it was packed. It's very cozy/charming considering we are in financial bros land. This was in November, so I'm going by memory... We ordered the mussels, meatballs, and 2 salads that don't seem to be on the winter menu-but they were huge and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. Little Side note-I walked by Friday night around 8pm-the smell of food was intoxicating and the inside was packed. Glad to see they're thriving. I did take a look at some of the recent negative reviews. One person gave them a one star review because she didn't get a seafood fork each time she went. 4 ppl wrote negative reviews at the same exact time-obviously were at the same table--not sure if they all really had a bad time or have a grudge against the restaurant. Rosemary's Midtown is a hip, new, contemporary restaurant providing some very good options for dinner. The night I visited (solo) I found a seat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Anthony. Anthony has been working at the bar since the restaurant opened on its 3rd Ave location on 50th. Cold weather now, but in the summer the outdoor patio is filled with patrons. I ordered the Saso Chicken, a half chicken served with roasted carrots and covered with a brown (sweet) sauce. The sauce was a bit too much and as you can see by the photo smothered the presentation but did not fail to impress with its flavor and consistency. Not a big fan of sweet sauces and not that this was overly sweet, my sensitivity to sugar is keen so it was a tad too sweet for me but by all means be your own judge. I would order it again and ask to go light on the sauces and serve the carrots in a separate dish. That was all I had but there were lots of pizza and salads being delivered around the restaurant that looked pretty darn good. Service was prompt and friendly. I'd go back for sure, sit at the bar, and ask for Anthony, and try another dish next time or order the same. PS....I brought half it home for tonight's dinner. read more

Rosemary's was such a great choice for dinner. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and well lit. However, since the weather was so nice, we decided to sit in the patio, which I recommend. It's covered by large umbrellas and a perfect place to people watch. There is a different "feel" to eating on the east side of Manhattan and I enjoy it, very much. The service was attentive, quick, and every staff member was cordial and accommodating. We started with Blood Orange Margaritas, which are recommended. We shared the following: Meatballs (Beef, pork, prosciutto, pomodoro, and fresh ricotta). These are one of the BEST meatballs I've ever had. Each ball was filled with meat, no fillers, and there was enough creamy cheese to accompany every bite. The large basil leaf was greatly appreciated, as well. The other item was the Margherita Pizza. This pie was perfectly created and the underside had the optimal crispness and charring. For dessert, I had an Affogato and it was very good. The friendly hostess offered a lunch menu for me to peruse before deciding to stay. And the rest is just a wonderful memory of how my entrance into this beautiful eatery turned my otherwise horrible rainy day around. Our waitress was attentive and genuinely seemed to have us as her customers. She immediately brought me a cup of coffee after I explained how I had to skip my morning cup and I was cranky. She promised she could help turn my day around. It worked! When asked she shared her favorites on the menu; we chose two dishes and then decided to share them so we could each try both. All the ingredients used were noticeably fresh and our meals were absolutely delectable. Despite being full, we could not pass on the lemon bombolinis. The table next to us had ordered and we immediately knew were weren't leaving without having them. They were the "bomb!" The service was rushed - we got our appetizer after our main course arrived, which was fairly soon after we ordered. The server also spilled water on me when taking the water bottle away and was so busy she either didn't notice or didn't feel like apologizing. The food was mostly good. Going to start by saying we visited this restaurant twice in a week. Yeah that good. Just by walking you are immediately welcomed by the bright colors and beautiful decor. We went for brunch on a Sunday. We decided to have the bottomless brunch. I opted for mimosa and my partner the Aperol Spritz. It's a good deal, the only drawback is it must be the whole table. Options also include Frizante for only 30$ for one hour. For food, I had the Ouvo in Purgatorio. The eggs were poached perfectly. The arrabbiata sauce they were served in was full of flavor. Served with it, two thick slices of bread with a pesto sauce smeared on it. It was a great vehicle for the sauce and paired beautifully. My partner had the Grilled Vegetable Panini. It had a delicious pesto smear with mushrooms, grilled sweet peppers and zucchini along with mozzarella. It was full of flavor, each ingredient well seasoned. Along with it came house made chips with a hint of salt. These were also delicious. To round out our meal we had the Lemon Ricotta Bombolini. These delicious balls of dough rolled in sugar were perfectly fried. The accompanying whipped Nutella spread was absolutely delicious. Horrible horrible service. The maître d on duty on Sunday afternoon was incomplete. We were doing a walk in at an off peak time, she was giving us so much attitude because we didn't have a reservation even though half the restaurant was empty and there was plenty of space. There were clearly bigger tables available but she seated us at a table that was too small, even after requesting she insisted there was a Fire hazard for combining a table for 6 and the other was reserved (no one showed up in the 2 hours we were there). I enjoyed my dinner at Rosemarys. We had a big group from work and had to do a pre-fixed family style. There was sooooo much food! It was a three course meal. I honestly do not feel that 7/8 people should be considered a private event and be charged a admin fee on top of an automatic 20% gratuity fee, especially if the wait staff is solely servicing the group. Our server Adam was kind, but was servicing several tables at the same time and we often had to be patient when trying to get his attention. All of the food was served fresh and hot and had good flavor. There version of a fried rice ball was really good. The artichoke salad was tasty and well made, but a bit tart. I am not very familiar with artichoke salad, so perhaps it was supposed to be tart. We had the Branzino as one of the mains, which was served with crispy spinach. The branzino was tasty, but I have definitely had better. My coworkers loved the Cavetelli pasta, I enjoyed it, but again have had better! The charcuterie board was plentiful and really well put together. cheeses were fresh and meats were delicious. The wine list had a nice variation. I enjoyed the blood orange margarita. I really enjoyed the chocolate tart, donuts and olive cake that was served for dessert. If you like chocolate - the tart was decadent, which is always ok with me. Rosemarys was quite expensive and I wish we did not have to do the pre-fix for a party of 8. While it was nice to have an array of dishes, I think I would have enjoyed my own menu choices better and also saved money. The restaurant was busy and our server was actually extremely nice. We flew in today for a quick stop in MYC Midtown and needed a place to eat and relax from the days travel. We stopped in at Rosemary's and glad we did. What a gem! It has an Italian family feel! The staff is pleasant and very friendly. We started off with Butternut Squash soup and Rosemary Focaccia for appetizers. They were so good we decided to go all in and get multiple dishes. They offer outdoor seating, which was quite popular on this Thursday evening. Food: Wonderful - 5 stars. We all opted for the three-course meal, and among us was a very opinionated Italian home chef. She found the pappardelle verde to be outstanding, saying she practically "inhaled it" and was extremely satisfied. I highly recommend the tri-colored beets--they are delicious and don't have the earthy taste that many beets tend to have.
