One of the few late night options that served food. It was our last night hurrah with a few coworkers before some returned home and it was a pleasant experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated on the back half of the restaurant where the music wasn't too loud and we could hear each other's conversations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the salmon with veggies and rice. The salmon was a touch sweet to me with the sauce they used. The rice and veg were cooked perfectly to compliment the salmon itself. Drinks were good, service fantastic. Would consider coming back when in the area!

We really enjoyed our food. Everything was tasty. The brussels sprouts were the bomb with bacon and crispiness just perfect. The chicken wings were fried a bit expensive but they allowed us to have several kinds of sauces for dipping, which was awesome. The pan seared chicken was delicious perfectly cooked and the vegetables were good as well. Service was good even though they were packed with a crazy amount of people in the bar area. I don't know that I would ever come here for a date. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's insanely noisy like beyond belief and noisy, but everybody seems to be having a good time and enjoying their food and drink so I would definitely come back and I will come back this week.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Popped in for a late night dinner. From the front door you can't tell that this place has a restaurant- it looks like a bar only. The staff were friendly and took the time to explain their specials and best selling dishes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance gives local vibes, which I loved.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in the front is the bar, it's long and has some high tops along the wall and plenty of seating at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once you pass the bar, you'll enter the restaurant part. There is plenty of tables and the restaurant can accommodate large parties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now let's get to the food! We ordered the carnitas tacos and the seared yellowtail and noodles. Both were in the daily specials menu. We also ordered the buffalo cauliflower which was served with blue cheese dressing and a cup of tomato bisque. The food was tasty and fresh. The carnitas were moist and crispy but were bland-- they needed salt, thank goodness for the salt shaker! The yellowtail was delicious . The noodles were a tad over sauced, however they complemented the fish well. The tomato bisque was the best thing. It was so yummy and creamy, and little chunks of tomato. It was served either two crostinis which were lightly buttered and toasted. Overall, this place is good for a quick bite. Enjoy!

Solid spot for after work drinks and bites. Decent prices and good people, and the two appetizers I bought were pretty good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great Irish pub-style atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came here for a community event after not being here for several years. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Attractive inside with cool lights, clean, sleek but also that low-key bar feel[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Food was very good especially the mozzarella sticks (perfect cheese pull) and crisp). Good cider and drink options. Good service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved that the train times on LcD screens when you first walk in![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Cheers!

Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

The shepherd's pie is insanely salty and it's very off-putting. It was inedible. I was looking forward to having it but I would not in good faith recommend this to anyone. The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. It came with a little side of rustic chips. I would not come back for the food but I would possibly go back to try a drink if I was in the area. The drink menu looked pretty good.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend. If you have a big group, have some common sense and book a reservation, but likely able to do walk-ins for small groups, couples, or singles easily. This is a great option for laid back vibes in HK.
