They did show up with glassware and took down blinds that were tangled together blocking ocean view in the kitchen. Pillows nasty! Stains on all rugs, cracks in tiles, mirrors- torn lampshades- Found out they rent long term to college students in off season. Shame on you for not doing a better job preparing it for top dollar summer pricing. And to top it off no return email of apology.

I called and requested a credit so I could change my reservations to another weekend with better weather and was told I could not obtain a credit or a refund. My options are come this weekend and watch it rain or stay home and lose the money. I won't be booking through Intracoastal ever again unless this policy changes. I wish I could give them a 0 rating. We also had a good dinner at Oceanic across the street. The pool was very nice and never very busy. Our rooms were clean and the place was quiet (except for footsteps above). Each suite is individually owned so there was variability in the kitchen set up (e.g., full-sized fridge vs smaller, oven vs toaster oven, high table vs regular table) and decor of some units is more updated than others. Also, my unit had blackout drapes but others didn't. They also had beach chairs, beach towels, and sand toys available to use. WiFi was fast enough to upload pictures to social media but was slow for more data-heavy tasks. Breakfast is available in the lobby starting at 7:30. There are no tables to eat in the lobby but they have trays so that you can take the food back to your room. They had fresh fruit, juices, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, instant grits, packaged pastries, coffee (no decaf), and tea. Taphne and Steven were extremely nice and very helpful. Our reservations were complicated and changed at least twice and they were very accommodating. We booked directly (instead of booking dot com) and Taphne gave us a discount.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area! Continental breakfast was provided every morning in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful in advising places in which to eat and ways to get to our destination. The room was clean and quaint with a nice small & functional kitchen. The suite had two rooms, bathroom and kitchen. There was an ocean view and a nice balcony with a view of the Atlantic Ocean. Across the street was the Oceanic seafood restaurant, would recommend that to any traveler in the area. The continental breakfast was also quality. The options included boxed cereal, juices, breakfast bars, and fruit. The coffee was hand batched each morning and bags delivered to the rooms. The staff was always friendly in the morning, greeting and advising the people staying!

Multiple issues 1- took 30 min for the lock pad to let us in kept needing resent wouldn't open 2-Dishes were not clean coffee on the mugs, food on the pans and forks. 3- A couple roaches seen as well 4- main reason for the bad review is the kitchen sink. We checked in Friday and by Saturday night we cooked seafood and ran the dishwasher and the sinks had sand and sediment come all the way up to the top of the sink. So no ability to wash dishes and cook. We were cleaning the coffee pot in the shower. They sent maintenance out and said we would need a plumber. I said fine let me know we would be on the beach. There was no more communication and no Plumber ever came the rest of the trip we had these sinks. The offered compensation was $50 which we felt was extremely cheap. Anyway unit needs work. I have another rental with Bryant in July but I'm reluctant.

Since this…read morewas our first time to Wrightsville we first checked out the local area and decided where we would have dinner. We made dinner reservations for 6:00 pm. As we were leaving the room that evening, my husband put his hand on the door to make sure it closed behind us and it opened right up. The door would not lock upon exiting. We could use the deadbolt from the inside but we had no way to secure it from the outside. Since we had already checked in, we could not leave the room unlocked, even if we removed our stuff, because we were responsible for the room. We texted multiple times and left phone messages for management and finally a young man responded at 9:00 pm saying he was on his way out but would stop by. Unfortunately, he was unable to fix it and he said someone would be out first thing in the morning to repair the door. In the morning, we waited until 10:00 am before it was repaired because the maintenance guy was on another job. I called the Sea Scape Properties management company upon our return home and spoke to Ashley. I told Ashley that we only had two nights there and we could not leave the room the first night so we wanted a refund for our first night. Ashley said she had to check with the owners and she would get back to me. I waited two weeks and I did not get a call back. I called again and spoke with Ashley and she again said she was waiting for the owners response. She assured me she would call me the following Monday, and it has been another two plus weeks and I have not heard back. I can appreciate that things break or go wrong, but the measure of good service by a company is the concern for their customers by taking prompt action for repairs, prompt resolution for what is being asked for (return of one night charge) and good customer service communication. I have not received any of these. As I now try to complete their online survey, it says the "survey has closed".

Everything was clean, the only issues I had were with the TVs. First the batteries were dead in the remotes, and the TV in the bedroom wouldn't even turn on. But, I wasn't there to watch TV. Lol. The beach access leads out from the hotel, past the pools, onto a wooden bridge which takes you right out to the ocean. I also enjoyed a few drinks at the hotel restaurant and bar. My roommates and…read moreI did not receive any portion of our security deposit back, despite there being pre-existing damage to the property that the company was aware of before our tenancy. We were also charged $2,100 for drywall repairs, which we do not believe fairly reflected damage caused during our lease. Based on our experience, it appeared that the previous tenants received their full security deposit back without a thorough inspection of the property, leaving us responsible for damage that we believe existed prior to our move-in. The entire process was frustrating and felt unfair. I would not recommend Cadence Realty to either prospective tenants or property owners. Transparency, thorough property inspections, and fair handling of security deposits are essential, and unfortunately, our experience did not reflect those standards.

My situation is not normal. My house that I lived in for 25 years burned in 2022, and it left me in a situation that I could not afford to buy the house next to me since the values went up 300% and just like that I was houseless with only half enough money to function, so this dilemma has sent me on a journey to totally relocate and start my life over somewhere else, so at 72 I was totally adrift, and just by chance I saw Carolina Beach NC as a fantastic place to headquarter out of while I look around, and by chance I called Dale at Saltwater Real Estate about staying in a condo or many condos on the beach for the off season, and Dale worked so hard to accomidate me and help me navigate thru my many time sensitive road blocks as my apartment lease in Texas was up and I had no place to seemlessy go, so I was in limbo for lack of a better word, and I have never had anyone step up so quickly and take control of my situation and totally look out for me, and his lease clients, and Dale played a heck of a game of chess to secure a place for me to temporarily live while I get to know the area and buy a new place if I find here is where I want to be, and I cannot thank Dale, and Carol enough for saving me so much stress, time and money, and Dale has been the absolute best, and he is very in tune with the area, and he has a heart, and so honest, and professional and all I can add is, IF you need a realestate agent, for vacation rentals or for a forever place, Ill assure you you will not find anyone that will take care of everything you need more than Dale and Carol at Saltwater Real Estate.
