This place is located just down from Bryce Canyon. I ordered a red eye and their coffee is very good. I also ordered this breakfast item which is bacon, egg and cheese baked into a roll. OMG, so good. Their bread definitely tastes homemade. I should have bought a few more for my day in the park. I wish they had stickers or a tee shirt or something. Coffee was fine and my poppy muffin was alright. Someone in my party ordered the cinnamon muffin and they said abit stale. Also don't understand why they don't take military discount. What a cute hidden gem! Attached to the Inn, you walked in feeling as if it was only a local coffee shop. Front desk lady was so welcoming and the coffee is amazing! We got a blended frappe (3 shots) and a mocha (3 shots), two completely different drinks but so well made. Finished off with a blueberry lemon muffin that was to die for! Staff were not wearing masks, there was no social distancing, and no limite on the number of people who could enter the small space. There were probably 20 people in there when I went this morning. Every customer in line was wearing a mask but the staff at the cash register and the one making coffee were not. The food and coffee were okay, not great. read more

We are very disappointed in ourselves for stopping in to order coffee and breakfast. The place was packed with people. There were a few people not wearing masks...but it was shocking to see the barista not wearing a mask. We had a choice to leave upon entering and seeing the no mask situation. It's true that this is a very nice coffee and snack shop. I actually got a really good cappuccino and friendly service in a rural town. And everything was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and the WiFi strength was good. So why only three stars? Because none of the employees were wearing masks at a time when Covid is on the rise, especially in Utah. Fox News was on the TV, and a blue lives matter flag was flying out front. This place was like seeing water in the middle of the Sahara Desert. The only other place we saw that offered coffee was inside of a Subway. This was worth the 15 minute drive from Bryce. We are immediately greeted by Echelle, who has to be the nicest person in Tropic (I'm sure everyone is nice, but Echelle was extra nice). I ordered my usual, dirty chai, and I have to say, it was way better than I expected. They use Oregon Chai as well as Big Train for their chai mix, and the espresso machine is for real. My friend had a chai latte with a few pumps of raspberries, I'm normally not a syrup person, but this was really good! Not sure which syrups they use, but it was tasty. Coffee and espresso is gas station quality. Staff was friendly, however when we inquired about what was in their Matcha blend, the barista got upset and told me I was being difficult. We got our overpriced coffee and latte. The coffee was watered down and latte tasted like it had a teaspoon of espresso in it. The barista put another two shots in it and it still tasted like a watered down cup of coffee with milk. Convenient location. Okay service. Poor quality of coffee. On our way to Capitol Reef and heading out of Bryce we saw this little coffee shop and I remembered that it was the same coffee shop my boyfriend suggest we go to a few weeks before we began our Canyon Adventure trip. It was great that we stopped by because, though I was not driving, it's nice to get out and stretch, relax, and get fueled up for the next couple hours we have to drive. The area is really cute and certainly had a small town feel and atmosphere about it. We parked in a parking lot right in front of a teeny little post office. I loved the charm of this area so much and was excited to try the coffee they had available. The coffee shop was super clean and well decorated. The two employees working in the shop were friendly and welcoming. They allowed us to charge our phones and took our orders fairly quickly. I ordered a blended mocha and a burrito and my boyfriend ordered a mango smoothie and a burrito. The burritos were okay, but they stated they were testing them out to continue selling them. I wouild say our drinks were definitely the highlight. I loved my boyfriend's mango smoothie. My drink was pretty good. If you're in the area I would recommend checking this little coffee shop out. They have a pretty good variety of treats and drinks to try to help fuel you when your ready to hit the road again. read more

We stayed at the attached hotel on our first night in the Bryce Canyon area. We were up early and off to score a campsite in the campground and were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options here. I had a really good little tub of "instant" oatmeal (modern oats-- not at all like the gross glue you're used to) and a greek yogurt. Drip coffee was fine. They also have things like fruit, hard boiled eggs, pastries, protein bars and the like. Pick up last minute hiking items like sunscreen, water bottles, and the like as well. They were busy but the staff handled the sudden onslaught with ease. Bryce Canyon Coffee Co. - amazing little coffee gem in the heart of lovely Tropic, UT! As a 'coffeionato' I have to say that this is truly a fantastic coffee place! Freshly-brewed coffee, espresso with wonderful 'cremas' on top, fresh pastries - all of it in a cozy little wooden cottage house just located at the main street. The quality is amazing - we had their fresh house coffee (just freshly brewed for us - we opted for the dark roast, powerful ), espresso and a blueberry muffin! Everything was fresh and great in taste! The owners are just lovely - they would chat with all of the guests and provide information to Bryce Canyon and the history - a welcome extra as visitors. They have seating inside but also a lovely patio where you can view the beautiful surrounding mountains and watch the passing travelers... We will definitely come back to this place next time and can definitely recommend this place to all visitors of Tropic or also passing travelers for a memorable 'pit stop'!
