Had beautiful campground and staff were great. was there for onlyone night but had fun feeding the horses.

What a great camp site!! The restroom area is very clean and there is a great little store attached to the check in area with some basics supplies. We were told the Wi-Fi had just switched over to Starlink, we used it all night for music and phones and it worked great. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating specially the woman at the front desk, she was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming for any reason at all. read more

It's a place to sleep. Very noise from traffic right next to campground and they have a huge area for large groups and there had to be a group of 50 or more kids. They never shut up and loved screaming!!!!! The pool was loaded with green algae, it hadn't been cleaned in a long time so not sure why they promote they have a pool. Gross! All those kids there and not one of them would dare go In The pool. Sites are right next to each other, mostly level and there were lots of trees for a plus. Close to Zion and Bryce so... if you need a place, this works. Not worth $55 for elec and water in my opinion but then everything is expensive these days. read more

I give this campground a two star mainly because of the staff here but mainly the owner which is very rude. The sites are not level and short. If you have a trailer bigger the 24 feet you will not be able to park the tow vehicle in that space without blocking part of the road. Several of the trees have low branches on them that will hit the top of your trailer. They advertise that they have a pool and cafe but both of these are closed and are not operating. They also advertise they have Wi-Fi which they do but you can only use it to check or send emails not to stream movies which I believe most of the Rivers want to do. The first site we pulled into was to have 50/30 hook ups and only had a 30amp which had a bad ground on it so we had to move to another location which did not have sewer hook-up which I paid for. when I made our reservation last year it was through the park and they use a third party booking company with letting you know which in my opinion is not fair to the customer. In my case I booked a spot for three nights and come to find out they put it in the system for five nights and I was not able to get credit for the overbook on their part, so be very careful when booking ahead of time with them. They do have clean restrooms and showers plus a laundry room which are two of my thumbs up for them. read more

This place is great and convenient when you want a place with ZERO to little reception and lots of nature. If I have to suggest anything I'd advise not to come on weekends if you want to get away because it gets packed and everyone brings their kids and dogs. Also noting that there is WiFi but it is useless because you have no reception I wouldn't advise doing your work out here. We stayed Thursday-Sunday and we met two really nice families and everyone pretty much minded their business. There was an extremely large and loud family in the tents however and they had bright lights and loud music and loud kids up until 10pm. That was extremely inconsiderate but whatever. Quite a couple people come in late so please take that into consideration as well that there will be noise and people unpacking their tents at midnight hrs. One more extremely important thing this campsite has multiple beautiful sweet horses so your dog absolutely HAS to be on a leash at all times. read more

This is on my list of top recommendations for places to stay if you are going to the Bryce Canyon and Zion area. They went out of their way to find me a camp site closest to my sister and her family. When I arrived at 10 am and check in was at 2 the girl in the office was super nice and let me check in early at no additional costs. Any staff I interacted with was always super polite. The grounds were clean. The bathrooms big and there was hot water in the showers. The pool area was clean. The shop had plenty of selection. And you really can't beat self serve soft ice cream for 1.50. The views were amazing and the horses were fun to feed and see hanging around. All around a great experience. The only negative is it is close to 89 and you can hear the traffic at night. But it isn't awful. read more

We stayed here for about a week in July 2023, and we paid $55/night (when we booked our sites, we were quoted $50/night). The sites were not maintained and were so unlevel that the rear tires of our motorhome were OFF the ground. This is after moving 7 times in an attempt to get level without an "excess slope" error. When we looked around, everyone had to use boards and blocks to keep their jacks and levelers from overextending (back) and/or bottoming out (front). We've been camping for over 15 years across the country, and these sites were the most unlevel we've seen. In addition to not being level, the unpaved sites had grass growing in them, needed more gravel, and were too close together. The pull through sites also weren't long enough for a 40 ft camper and a tow vehicle. The trees brought nice shade but needed to be trimmed for larger motorhomes. The sand/horse flies were horrible. Bring thermocells and fly fans if you want to sit outside at all. The internet was horrible. With no AT&T or Verizon cell reception at this campground, hot spots are useless. A campground with no cell reception and NO cable should upgrade their wifi to support all campers' internet activity, including streaming. The paper at check in said the internet is adequate for checking emails, but it is not. I had to go into town just to pay bills midweek because my banking app wouldn't open there. Finally, they allow regular groups (2-3 dozen) of tent campers in over the weekends who are loud well past 10, ride their noisy go carts all around the campground well past dark, and walk their dogs between the campers without picking up their mess. This campground does not appear to enforce their own rules. We will not stay here again. It's a shame because they could do so much with this great location being almost halfway between Bryce and Zion. It would have been better to stay closer to Bryce, then move when we wanted to visit Zion. read more

My wife and I Just spend 4 nights at the Bryce Zion Campground, and it was far from what was promised or expected. To begin with, all the photos on the website are several years old (probably made when it was still a KOA campground) it is not nearly as clean and pristine as represented. We had booked a long pull through site when we made the reservation, when we arrived we had been assigned a pull-in back out site with an uphill grade. When I showed the camp host the confirmation, she told me that she would have to contact her boss that was on vacation to see if it could be changed. The campground is only open from May 1st (the day we arrived) until October 1st, it seems to me the owners could schedule their vacation during the 7 months the campground is closed rather than their opening week. They left their only employee to handle opening the campground, manage the incoming guests, run the camp store and do the routine maintenance. The amenities offered on the website include Cooters Café (closed), Swimming pool (empty and in need of repair), internet available (sign posted in office 'internet is for e-mail only no down-loading, streaming or gaming. One person can shut down the entire server"). What internet service that was available was slow and unreliable. While I was checking-in another guest was having difficulty with the electric service at his site. He was assured an electrician would be there to look at it in the afternoon or not later that the next day. He ended up having to run his generator for the 3 days he stayed. All of the guest in the section where we were located had electrical issues due to low voltage including appliance failures, diming lights, no tv satellite reception. We experienced all of these as well as shorting two surge protectors. In speaking with other guest, they had been promised to side by side with another couple. We ended up between the two coaches because not receiving our confirmed site. The bottom line is the owners left their employee with no authority to handle the situation. Which indicated to me that they do not respect their guest. If Bryce Zion Campground is the only available option in the area, pick another area. read more

I wouldn't even give this campground 1 star if I could. Will never return to this campsite. Owner is unprofessional and rude. Neighboring campsite was mad because we came in late and had to set up. We told the campground this would happen at time of reservation. Said it was fine and no problem. But our neighbor decided it was not and instead drove around to campsites to poor pity me and had other campers complain and have us kicked out. The owner then proceeded to drive up to our camp and yell for us to leave because of complaints. No talking, no warning, no nothing. It was embarrassing and unbelievable. Good luck to anyone who decides to stay here. Do your research. read more

This campground is really nice and peaceful for the most part. The accommodations are nice and are roomy. The view is lovely. The only issue we have was the worker who came to us after we had already stayed there one night to yell at us and tell us we needed to turn our camper around. He was rude. This could have been easily avoided by having someone escort us to our spot in the first place, and/or by just kindly asking us to move. Campground was right near the busy highway so we heard loud trucks drive through the night, then around 4AM road construction started up in which we were woken up by and unable to get back to sleep, nonetheless breathing in tar fumes the entire time. All of which we were not warned about prior to coming to the premises and paying for a night of camping. The only nice thing about the campground was the horse, but even the horse was poorly taken care of-- it had a broken hoof, filthy, no pales of water, no shade and eating scraps of dried up grass. When i asked to cancel our camping reservation for the following night i was just met with attitude from the girl at the front desk and was told I owed $5 in taxes which i explained i wasn't going to pay until i spoke to the owner. When she called the owner, she left the room so I couldn't hear her, then said nothing to me when handing me the phone and the only thing i was able to say was "hello". The owner was the rudest I've ever dealt with, exclaiming that she was the owner and how dare i complain and it's not her fault that they're doing construction and how terrible a person I was for asking for a refund. I've never been met with such immaturity And no understanding of where we were coming from in management. Nothing short of just plain embarrassing behavior. The only words i was able to say to her after she rudely spoke at me was how terrible she is at customer service and management. Will not be recommending to anyone ever in the future, especially my many camping and traveler friends. read more

We had an enjoyable stay at this campground. The location is great. The facilities, while old, are clean and appropriate. The staff was friendly. We The showers, laundry and little store were a plus for us, especially entering our 2nd week of camping. The reason for 4 stars is based on the tent campsites, which we used. They are VERY close together. I didn't even need to start my own fire, the neighbors was only 10 foot away! We loved the horses. The scenery is great. Look, if you just need a place to crash after a long day of hiking, this place is perfect. If you expect to spend some time in a basecamp (in a tent), it's tight quarters. the RV spots seemed more spacious. We'd stay here again... read more

We just returned from a weekend in Southern Utah where we stayed at Bryce Canyon campground. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and a hassle free check in. We decided a second site would fit our large tents and give the other couple some space, they were happy to accommodated us, again no hassle. The property is a bit of a drive to Bryce Canyon, however the drive is beautiful and goes by fast. The restroom and showers were clean, outside the restroom is a nice sink area for washing gear or dishes. The grounds are so nice, trees for hammocks and space for corn hole which they offer to guests at no charge, there are also books you can check out and a nice little store if you forgot something. To those looking for a rustic off the beaten path, this isn't the place for you, it does have amenities and is close to a busy road. It didn't bother us as we were exhausted and zonked out. There was a bizarre incident or observed encounter, a site two down from us arrived late (I didn't notice until we saw them the next day) they had two dogs, one large and one small. I observed a blue SUV/Crossover pull up to their site where what I thought I heard was someone ask what their dogs name was, the campers responded and the women in the vehicle then told them to pack up and leave, that there had been several complaints about their dogs and noise. There was no apparent warning or inquiry to surrounding camps about any disturbance. I really felt bad for the campers. I understand and appreciate the campgrounds quick response, but wish they would have asked the remaining folks about it as I am pretty certain it was the couple in the silver van, the women shot us dirty looks as we prepared breakfast well after 7am then they proceeded to leave prior to management showing up and did not return. We did enjoy our stay and will certainly return to this gem! read more

Bryce Zion campground deserves a 4 stars. I was very skeptical about the owner said they sold their website and they won't update the website. After I arrived I was not very drawn to its location and the overall look of it. The campground got everything you really need (shower, laundry service, mini grocery store with camping essentials.) it also has a cafe shop, playground, hiking trails and the pool. Though we didn't have time to enjoy those facilities, they're nice add-on. Btw, shower is free of charge. The bonus is the view!! Not much privacy here, campsites are closely next to each other. Lots of families which mean lots of kids = noises. But overall I like this campground and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Zion (30min),Bryce (40 min). The ladies are also very nice and helpful! read more

The worst. Don't be fooled by the beauty. The campground manager is rude and unprofessional. She yells from her car. Instead of getting and talking like a human. Not only did she treat us poor but I witnessed her treat another family bad as well. Camping is outdoors, kids and pets will make noise. This is common knowledge. This was fun. I suggest checking in at the first ranger station you come to. You can hike in to your camp site the first one being 3 miles in. Well marked trail and nothing ate me except some bugs I suggest bug spray. Camp site 1 has the best tree for a hammock ever. I hope to go back someday. read more

I am on a cross-country road trip and this is by far the best campground I have stayed at so far! The staff is super friendly, the campground is clean, and there are friendly horses who love watermelon :-) The temperature is cool at night which is an amazing break from the Zion temperatures, and the location is great if you want to go in between Zion and Bryce Canyon. It is equally distant from Bryce and Zion which was ideal for our adventures. The rate was reasonable, and I would recommend this campground anyone who I know read more

We didn't know where we would stay and we found this little gem. This campground is set between Zion and Bryce. Our RV site was facing a fence that housed horses. It was nice seeing them roaming around each day. There was a nice hiking trail at the campsite. The staff was lovely and it was cold enough at night to have a campfire before bed. The campground was small but was surrounded by beauty as far as the eye could see. read more

This place is beautiful. We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The park was extremely quiet and we had a great group of campers nearby. We ended up needing a few items and shopped their store front, which was super helpful and convenient. No service, but WiFi reached our campsite and was pretty good. There's a play area for kids, a fenced in dog run area, and horses on the property you can pet and feed. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back. read more

wow wow wow wow wow - what an amazing experience. This was the last of the three campgrounds that we stayed at and couldn't have had a better experience. After driving 6 hours from Moab to Bryce, our motorcade of three RV's pulled into the charming quaint campground and the owner lady came outside with a bright wide smile appearing so happy that we rolled in. Check in process was seamless and the grounds were pretty clean. There are really friendly horses nearby for the kids (and adults) to go pet and feed. The main office has books and movies for rent if you are not trying to hike in the dreaded heat and seem some time to unwind. But the best part is the pride this family has for their campground - the BATHROOMS ARE SO CLEAN (compared to the other campgrounds we visited) and this meant so much to me! read more

This is a really nice campground! We didn't get to use the pool or restaurant, as there had been a flood the day before our check in. The owner, Ellen, was lovely! She told us that there was rain expected for all three days of our visit and offered to let us pay day-by-day in case we decided to leave early. We were one of three campers in the whole campground. The store was open, nonetheless. The horses nearby are fun to pet and visit with. The site is equal distance to Zion and Bryce and works great as a base. Restrooms are very clean and look to be recently updated. Highly recommend! read more

Real bathrooms with showers? Sold! As much as I like the outdoors and camping, it's always nice not to have to rough it. My friend booked this place and I brought everything I could to stay clean in case there wasn't a shower. As outdoors-y as you think you might be, nothing beats a hot shower at the end of the night after a nice long day hike. When we booked it for a weekend in August, there was plenty of space. Each campsite is pretty small - I think it's meant for about two tents at most and one car. There's also a campfire with a grill and a picnic table at each campsite. And there is space for RV parking as well on the other side. This Campground is also about 45 min to an hour away from both Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park so it's a good middle point to say at if you're going to both. There is a mini convenience store that doubles as a check in area. My friend bought a book for fun and the girl behind the counter said she doesn't think that anyone has ever bought a book there before hahahaha. Overall, it has your basics - room for tents and a campfire and the added bonus of a bathroom, shower and even a laundry room if you want it. I can't remember the exact price but it was really cheap and it definitely beats the price and fighting for a spot closer to the parks/ read more

Just spent 4 days at this campground. Staff was friendly, the store had basic necessities, a little pricey if you ask me. The horses, geese and ducks are a sweet touch. I loved waking up in the morning and walking over to give the horses an apple. I think the only down fall is the amount of geese poop and noise from the nearby street. Other then that I would definitely come back and enjoy this beautiful campsite. read more

It is right in between Zion and Bryce. We pulled in on a Thursday in July at 6 pm and there were still plenty of spaces! Beautiful location with lots of trees and nice bathrooms. The showers are included in the price. We did not use the pool or restaurant but they looked inviting. The people working there had lots of advice about the national parks. We stumbled upon this campground and were lucky enough they had spots available! The staff was always pleasant, helpful, and friendly. The camping spots were clean. I didn't realize you could camp right next to the horses. (Next time) My kids loved the horses. Played at the playground, and loved the pool. (Also very clean) The camp store had everything we needed. The bathrooms were clean! It was the perfect location from lots of traveling points. I loved that their brochure told us distance to the different destinations. Wish we could have stayed longer. I hope to return again someday. read more

I will give this place two stars for the clean, neat bathrooms and showers, but that's about it. Maybe because we came here in October, but it needs some attention! The Wi-Fi was sporadic, at best, and we were very close to the building. Something that REALLY turned me off was the neighboring site's sewer connection right by our picnic table. Not very appetizing to eat outside! The sites for RV's were not very level at all. The owners are rarely here - just in the evening to check campers in and get their money! It was a nice, central location between Zion and Bryce, but I would not stay here again. read more

My family was looking for a campground after visiting Bryce Canyon and couldn't find any that were open. With night fast approaching, we were desperate to find a place to stay. We pulled in to Bryce Zion and saw that it was closed for the season like the others. We saw a house nearby with the lights on though and assuming they were the owners, we decided to knock on their door to see if they could let us stay. Thankfully, someone opened the door who said his grandma owned the place and he graciously let us stay the night. Thanks to him we were able to set up our tents before it became too dark and had a good night of sleep before heading to Zion. Thank you so much! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Don't waste your time or your money! It's way too far from the national parks to be worth the drive and the place is pretty much a dump. The buildings and tables are falling apart, the sites were filled with rocks (not good for sleeping in a tent) and there is barbed wire fencing everywhere. The tent site was barely large enough to fit a 4 person tent, there was no picnic table to eat at, there was no fire pit or area to have a fire...all of which they assured me would be available when I made my reservation. On top of that, when I arrived, they tried to charge me higher rates than what they advertised on their website. What really appalled me was how they claim to be pet friendly, but the owner was speeding around the campground in a pick up truck and came dangerously close to hitting my dog who was leashed up and sitting next to the road! I would not feel safe having a dog or children here with people so careless and barbed wire fence all around the place. I did not even stay the night at this place and wouldn't recommend anyone else taking their chances. read more

We loved this campground! The trees were beautiful and provided great shade. The little playground area was lots of fun for kids. We didn't have time to swim, but we saw people in it. The restrooms and showers were always clean. It was a great location between the national parks- easy access to wherever you want to go in the Grand Staircase. I booked this location last minute and was surprised that they were able to accommodate us, they were able to let us add on extra nights when we decided to come a day early and leave a day late. The staff were all friendly and they allow late check ins (which is great when you forget time zones differences). They sell firewood and ice as well as other items so it makes it very convenient. The camp grounds were very organized and easy to find, each spot is clearly labeled. I'm directionally challenged and I was able to find his location easily and also my campsite easily so kudos to the staff for explaining things so clearly. Seriously it's not hard to find. They have a pool that is kept clean and they have a playground for the little folks. I wish they had a jacuzzi but I wish everyone had a jacuzzi so it didn't ruin my time. The showers and bathrooms are kept very clean and remain open all night. This place is a great midpoint between Zion and Bryce. You will still have a good amount of driving to each park but that should be expected. Also the drives aren't bad on HWY 89. The drive through Zion is frustrating but that's because you're driving through a populated park, I think there's a road around that may be quicker but I didn't take it. This spot is also great if you want to get out of the heat! It's cooler then Zion and the evenings are nice and cool, which you want after a long day of hiking. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire pit and a tree which provides a lot of shade. Our site was even and we didn't have any trouble with our tent floor being uneven. We had a two-person tent. You could fit two of those or one larger tent and one car and be fine. I really like this site and I would definitely recommend it to others read more

Nice location. Bathrooms dated but clean. However....Urinal broken in men's room and there was "ZERO" toilet paper in any of the stalls. I found out a little TOO late...if ya know what I mean! Had to resort to...after an awkward waddle to the sink to #400 sandpaper rated hand towel paper. Not fun!!!! Each of the 2 stalls had 2 of those enormous rolls in them. I mean it's not like you can't anticipate when they may be empty. One has weeks to prepare to replace them. I do have to say the horses were very friendly though. read more
