    Toy hauler view!

Perfect spot to stay when visiting both Bryce and Zion. This is a quiet, simple campground so if you're looking for frills - this ain't it. But if you actually enjoy camping and just need the comforts of hookups, showers, etc this campground is wonderful. It feels safe and relaxing, and our kids loved the horses next door that visited us each night. Thank you, Bauers family!

Nice spot to set the RV up at. The place was a bit muddy but not crazy. They just need about 10 trucks full of gravel to make it right. It was very clean and made it very easy to get to rice Canyon and Zion May. Park. Cost effective too!

Planning our trip to Utah to visit Bryce & Zion, we were looking for a camping spot in the middle to set up our travel trailer. Yelp reviews and location were why we chose Bauer's Canyon Ranch RV. Good customer service great locale good size sites. Clean restrooms and showers too! Can't deny hearing cows and horses nearby was awesome! Highly recommend this campground!

We tent camped at Bauer's RV for 5 days in mid-July 2017. Our goal was to stay inexpensively at a comfortable campground in a location convenient to both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. We also wanted showers and a water supply. Bauer's met and exceeded all of our needs. My daughter, 14 years old, said "if I lived here, I would LIVE HERE!" Our family recommends this campground. Cool, grassy, clean, good prices, quiet, convenient. They provide everything they advertise, no surprises or exaggerations. The RV sites are situated up front, nearer the road. They appear well spaced and comfortable. They have water, power, and gravel slots. They are separated by lawn. Most of the spaces were filled during our stay. I can't say much more about them, as we were in the tent area. The tent sites are back from the road with the entire RV area between the tents and the road, located in a lovely orchard and entirely grassed spaces. The campground is at the base of some pretty cliffs that catch the sun's rays and shine orange. In the evenings the crickets chirp in the neighboring orchard and field. It looks like some vacation cabins are being built next door. Neighbors to the RV park are personal homes and a field and orchard. The tent sites are not numbered and the spaces are loosely designated by the presence of picnic tables at each site. About every other site also has a fire ring. We did not have a campfire and I did not ask about firewood sales. Every site has at least one tree (fruit tree of some sort), ours had two trees. The night before we arrived, Glendale had a flash flood (monsoon season) BUT Bauer's RV did NOT flood, so that is an excellent bonus! We pulled into Glendale about 4pm and they had our reservation ready. Cost for a tent site was $20 per night for 2 people and $2 per extra person. This includes the site, access to potable water (a communal spigot with tasty water), and use of the shower/bathroom/pay-laundry/dishwashing facilities. Power and water are not available at individual tent sites, so bring a water jug and batteries. (Some brave and trusting souls used the bathroom plugs to recharge devices, but we are not so brave or trusting). The office is open 8am to 6pm. This is a family-owned business and they shut down in the evenings. After hours they post a sign on the door indicating available spaces and where the late arrivals should pull into. They said "pick a tent site and we will see you later". They also have a payment box and posted prices so that you can pay them if you arrive late and leave early. The bath/laundry facilities are nice and are kept clean daily. There was NEVER a time when I felt grimy. The floors are linoleum and appear new. The counters and sinks are clean and new. There are two showers and two toilets. Ample counter space allows several people to be using the mirror simultaneously. One thing I would change is one more sink in the ladies bathroom. I never had to compete for space, but I could see some crowding if 3+ were trying to get ready in the mornings. Maybe a bench in the bathroom for those waiting their turn? The cell service in Glendale is non-existent (at least AT&T) but Bauer's has FREE WIFI and it is pretty fast. I could FaceTime my family on it just fine. That was very convenient. The culture in the park seems to be one of quiet respect. Never were campers loud, disrespectful, or obnoxious. Tent campers quietly came and went throughout our stay and only occasionally woke us up with doors closing or soft talking. We should have brought earplugs for our tent-camping, but that was our own fault. It is very peaceful. Road sounds in the tent area were minimal since we were far back from the road. Glendale itself seems to be a tiny collection of homes with not much business. We went south to Orderville and Mt. Carmel for fuel, sodas, and ice. I did not ask at the office if they sold anything for travelers, as we usually left before 8am and arrived back later than 6pm. We traveled to Zion and Bryce Canyon. Zion was about 30 minutes away and Bryce was about 40minutes. Both drives were lovely in themselves! We also went to the Northwest entrance to Zion and experienced Zion's Kolob Canyon. Highly recommended!! It is included with your admission to Zion and is about an additional 30min drive. Remember monsoon season! We forgot, but lucked out with the weather. It rained a few times, but mostly when we were not there. After a couple rains, the tent sites were still on solid ground. It was windy each night, so be prepared for canyon winds. Again, we really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone looking to camp. Much nicer than any other place we saw while we were visiting. Two thumbs up.

This is a very pleasant and clean rv park yet, not worth $65.00 a night to camp there.

The amenities alone stand out--clean, well-lit facilities, warm showers, and even heated floors (yes, heated floors!). Everything is thoughtfully provided on an honor system, which adds to the welcoming, trusting atmosphere. When we arrived, we realized we had accidentally booked our stay one day too early. Instead of turning us away, they graciously offered us a boondocking spot and invited us to a once-a-week complimentary dinner for all guests. It turned into a wonderful evening around the fire pit, connecting with fellow travelers. Meeting the owners was an added highlight--they were as warm and inviting as the meal they shared. We feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this special place in the middle of such a beautiful desert.

This the coolest, cleanest, most well put together campground we have every stayed in. Not to mention the amazing views. The shared area for lounging and relaxing is so well appointed and just kind of magical. The owners are just terrific, friendly people and made us feel so welcome. I was about to pay for my ice-cream and the owner who we were chatting with said NO it was on him. There are so many little touches and thoughtful things at your disposal. They have really thought of everything. We are coming back in late fall for an extended stay and can't wait.

The pull through were really sizable not a problem to get in and out of with plenty of room. Picnic table was metal and plastic topped and was sitting on cement which was great. It has a fence all the way around the property and it was located a little bit on the edge of town, which is nice. We like those kind of RV spots. The water was really good. It did have a lot of pressure (which the RV company makes mention of so that you're prepared and if you do not have a water pressure gauge, they have them but you would need to be to their office before four when they close) so we just used our water pressure attachment to the spicot and everything was fine. It's a very doable problem. I would rather have too much pressure than not enough. we were just passing through and we spent one night but it was very pleasant. It was quiet, but it was quite windy. That's for sure but I think there's a lot of wind that comes through that area anyway we would definitely stay here again.

The majority of guests here were in RVs and campers. The campground is right off the highway so it could get noisy if your spot is by the road. We stayed the furthest away from the road so it didn't bother us very much at all. We opted to stay in a rustic cabin ($50/night + tax) which included a small mini fridge, microwave, and 2 beds - a queen and twin bed. This spot was perfect. We didn't have anyone staying next to us on either side and it gave a nice sense of privacy. The Red Canyon RV Park has a small dog park in the back corner by the main road. The bathrooms are dated and can use updates but are decently clean. 2 shower stalls and 2 toilet stalls on the property, gender-separated. WiFi is available (although it's pretty weak) and Verizon and AT&T worked well here. There is a general store, gas station, and restaurant/ice cream shop right next door. Laundry services are also available (coin-operated). Overall, it was a pleasant stay with minimal interruptions. Seemed like everyone here kept to themselves and it was great~
