The creek is beautiful, and falling asleep to the sound of the water was a highlight. The staff was accommodating and allowed us to switch to an RV site so we could park next to our tent, which we appreciated. Looking back, I wish we'd asked more questions because the covered tent sites looked much more private and would have been a better fit for us. This is a great campground for families, groups, and anyone wanting to enjoy tubing. The bathhouses were clean, and the camp store had everything we could have needed. The tubing was a lot of fun, though the creek is shallow and rocky in places, so expect a few bumps along the way! If you're looking for a lively campground with plenty of activities, I highly recommend it. If your goal is total peace and seclusion, you may want to look at some of the quieter campgrounds nearby. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the Bryson City area.

Would have liked someone helping tie the tubes to the top of the car but we managed. If you are with people I suggest getting a cable to connect together because you will get seperated and a paddle or stick to get unstuck or move in different directions is a good idea. They have large bathrooms to change in also. Lots of places to just hang out on the side or side of the water to relax. The waterfall was a beautiful place to stop and relax.

We rented 6 sites close to each other and informed all our neighbors we would be celebrating that weekend. All neighbors had no problems with my group except the owners of the establishment. We have been going there for years now and did not expect the owners to have such a problem with us. We were told to be quiet two ours before quiet time each night while our neighboring campers had not heard us. We feel we were targeting for no reason. Would never go there again even though we have been going for years prior. A friend of mine posted a review and the owner deleted it. The owner doesn't like people and should not be working this business. If I could do a negative 5 review I would!!!!!!! Never again

If quiet, peace and solitude is your thing, this is where you should go. On a moonless night, you can see constellations you have only seen in astronomy books. It has full hookups but is a no frills park: no showers or toilets, no pool and no convenience store, but they do have laundry facilities. The park is graveled and the spaces are level, but close to each other. 61 cable channels!!! Everyone we met were friendly.This is a pet friendly park as well as the management personnel who are friendly and helpful. This park is open year long so there are several residents living here full time. We got the last open space when we reserved our site so we had neighbors on all four sides. When making reservations, six months in advance would be recommended. Try to secure a space on the outer perimeter where there is either an open meadow or creek for your backyard. This is the perfect park during the "leaf-peeping" season (October).

I was impressed at how well the park was maintained, everything was clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful in meeting our needs. The mountain coaster was great fun. The kids loved the wi-bit obstacle course at the lake and the sports courts. I loved driving the golf cart we rented around the park because the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were beautiful. It also made me feel like a kid again to see Yogi, Cindy and BooBoo bears roaming around the park. I recommend this as a good wholesome family vacation that won't break the bank. There were plenty of logs available down a short gravel road next to the office for the fireplace and the outdoor grill when we forgot to buy more charcoal. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen offered everything we needed for meals except the food. It provided a perfect backdrop for us to meet up with old friends for a long weekend!
