Great service, fun atmosphere, and plenty of options between appetizers, entrees, drinks, and even desserts. We stopped in for dessert, and the options were chocolate cake and a cookie the mirrored a juicy Lucy as it was stuffed with cream cheese. We had to try it! Both were good and came out quickly. It was definitely an experience, tasty, but wouldn't need to have the cookie Lucy again haha! Great spot for a lowkey dinner or hangout with friends. We enjoyed. They have a few parking spots in front of the restaurant otherwise metered street parking.

Sunday night after some drinks and dinner, we came here because we saw pull tabs and thought it would be a fun way to end the night. We walked in and there was a sign telling us to sit upstairs. We walked up the stairs (later finding the elevator on our way out after wondering if this place was ADA compliant) and when we went up the stairs we found about 10 people scattered throughout the booths that surrounded the bar and a few seated at the bar. First impressions... it didn't look great but we thought hey maybe they pour a heavy drink. So we stayed for one. This was such a pleasant experience. The bartender was really cool. She was hustling but you could tell she loved her job. She mentioned she's been doing it for about 30 years. She single-handedly is the reason why I give this a four star. Then on top of that, when the chefs popped out they smiled at us and the other bar backs were equally as engaging. Perhaps it was because it wasn't a really busy night. But nevertheless, it was radically different from the other bars we went to where everyone looked miserable. We wneee up with a few drinks and a lot of laughs. We also got some neat recommendations on where to go in the area. After a few hours we realized we needed something to eat to soak our drinks up and we got the golden bbq wings with blue cheese and ranch. I thought the sauce was pretty okay. I think the crunch was perfect. I always want more sauce so that's my only critique. I can tell this place gets busy during Vikings game day. Would love to come back and experience that atmosphere. But for a chill Sunday night, I give it a four star.

We ordered delivery from here to our hotel. The order was done on a weeknight close to their closing time. I got a Reuben with fries. The Reuben flavor was really good, the only thing was that the rye was a little bit dry/burnt. The fries it came with were delicious, I just wish they had ketchup on the side. My friend ordered some chicken tenders. They only ok. We also had some carrots and celery that we ordered but they never came and we were unable to call the business to let them know. All in all, food is average. I would definitely go with their Reuben over the chicken though.

We visited the Crooked Pint on Friday, August 29th at about 7:30PM at the Downtown location. We were a party of two, and this was our first time at this restaurant. Being from out of town, we saw the wide variety of Juicy Lucy's, and we really wanted to try them. (We have had some before from the big name places in town; however, this place was close to our hotel) We were surprised that this place was pretty darn empty for a Friday evening; however, that area of town can be a bit desolate after business hours, and especially on a holiday weekend. However, all the more for us, and our server was absolutely fantastic. She was nice, pleasant and was a true customer service fanatic at heart. We had some drinks, which were delicious. I ordered the Cheesesteak Lucy, and boy was that yummy. It, of course, came out with scorching hot cheese in the middle (which it is supposed to) and it had all the fixings. It had some onions, peppers, mushrooms and Queso. I also upgraded to the cheese curds for my side. The entire meal was fantastic. If you are in the mood for bar food, that is what you will get here.

The place is like in downtown Minneapolis. Lots of TV's and dark wood booths and bar stools. It's kinda low light but not too low to see your way around. The restaurant is well lit. But the lights aren't bright. Music level is I think about perfect. Loud enough to block out other conversations but not too loud to talk. The bartender and not sure if it's a cook or server. But they are a great team at the noon hour of me being in here. She served me a beer took my order. He brought the food out very quickly. Food I had was not bad. Wasn't like oh hell this is the best I've ever had. Was good. I'd really love to see more restaurants use the local Schools with FFA programs locally source the food like Table 65 does. That would really make the taste of the food pop. Ok so loads of beer choices. Close to sports arena downtown. Lots of liquor choices. Nice place for a stop before or after a game. Staff is good at their job. Food served fast and hot. Place is clean. Plenty of nearby parking garages.

Ate here tonight with a friend - had the spinach power bowl - phenomenal! A spicy sweet concoction of all things healthy but honestly so yummy. My friend had the bourbon cranberry chicken salad, which is her ultimate favorite thing. Great happy hour pricing on drinks and always friendly staff. A nice downtown option with good food and drinks, reasonably priced though parking can be an issue.

Crooked Pint Ale House is a fun spot in downtown Chaska to enjoy good drinks, food & some entertainment! It's very spacious and looks on to the curling center which is really fun and unique. Our group of 6 came on a Friday evening and were seated and served right away despite it being pretty busy which we were impressed with. They are known for their tots and Juicy Lucy burgers which were both very impressive. The cheese was warm and oozing out after the first couple of bites. Both individuals who ordered the burgers said they would definitely order again! I was looking forward to trying the tater tots but found that they have some meat in them so I wasn't able to try them out. However, those within our group that did really seemed to enjoy them. The Margherita flatbread was just okay. It was a bit dry and not super flavorful but got the job done. Their drink menu was very expansive with a good selection of beers, ciders, and cocktails. It also was fun to be able to look on to the curling center!

Great spot! Excellent location. Very cool, dark vibe. We were seated in a booth & service was excellent. Good selection of brews. The Juicy Lucy was sooo good, just remember to let it test before diving in! Their tater tots are huge

Stopped in here for lunch and found plenty of space at the bar. There were a large amount of beers available and their drinks specials were nice as well. We decided to share the juicy Lucy and oh my it was delicious! Hot and so much flavor. Would go back again just for this dish!

Wrangler Lucy ($15) w onion rings (+$3). Stuffed w jalapeños and cheddar, with bacon, cheddar, fried onions, and bourbon molasses sauce.

I love myself a bbq bacon burger, and Crooked Pint makes a great one! Ordered the Wrangler Lucy ($15) to go and was quite pleased that the haystack onions on the burger and side onion rings stayed crispy in the box on my drive home. I love that the burger is stuffed with jalapeños in addition to the cheese, and as a cheese lover, I personally liked that there was cheese both in and on the burger. The sauce was delicious without being overpowering, and the bacon was tasty too. As for the totchos ($13), this is my big "hear me out." I LOVED these. Even though they may not look like much at first glance, this photo does NOT do them justice. I'm used to a "quantity over quality totcho," with a lot of cheap tots drenched in cheap toppings (which I do love as much as the next guy!) but the flavor on these is next level and truly opened my eyes to what a totcho could be. The housemade "jumbo tots" hugely live up to their name, and come stuffed with cheese and serrano for a flavor bomb in the tots themselves, and the green onions, bacon, and cheese on top pair perfectly. I also want to point out their deals! On Wednesday for example, they've got a daily deal of $2 off Lucys and burgers, and on Thursdays, you can get a classic Lucy with waffle fries for $10. They also have a happy hour on weeknights from 3-6p and 9:30p-close where you can get $2 off several appetizers (and good deals on drinks too). Love when a restaurant has affordable options like that.

To cap off our first day in Minneapolis, we decided on the Crooked Pint. We did a flight of beers so that we could try different MN beers (being from CA). Good sizes! The waitress let us sample a few more before we made our full size selection, which was so nice of her. And she was happy to do it! Next, the food. On her recommendation, we started with the Totchos. Oh. My. Goodness. I could eat those for the rest of my life. Good with beer! Then we shared a classic Juicy Lucy, delish! And were able to get a side of walleye, since we've never had. Again, so accommodating to us out-of-towners. Topped it off by sharing the Tater tot hot dish. CO comforting and homey. Only critique: more tots!!! But great flavor. Loved everything, the vibe, the food, the service. Next time we are in Minneapolis, you can bet your tots we are coming here!!!

We stopped in with a party of three on a Wednesday evening after visiting the Mall of America. At first, the empty dining room had me worried, but the food and drinks turned out to be amazing! Prices were surprisingly reasonable for a downtown spot, and the portions were more than generous. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely come back if we're in the area again.

Ben and Jerry's free ice cream cone day. After hanging out for half an hour with a live DJ,…read moredancing, and ice cream, we were ready for dinner. Priorities. What are we craving? Burgers? Nah. Pizza? Two maybes - plus the asker. Mexican? Again, two maybes. We start scouring possibilities. And come across a pizzaria + taqueria. Ratings at a very respectable 4.5. Curiosities at full peak. Plus it's close. We've got a winner. No guests inside when we arrive. Parking right out front. Before we even decide on an order, however, people start coming in. Several tables fill up within 10 minutes. Amusingly, the first next group grabbed the one curved booth with my full drink bottle still sitting on the table in the middle of them. They migrated to the semi-booth across the dining area. Clearly, the two most desired seating areas in the house. We ordered birria pizza and horchata - we have a tradition of testing the horchata at every next Mexican restaurant we try. This one was mid - not horrible, not great. Just was. We'd ordered a birria pizza recently, elsewhere. It came out as... a birria taco in pizza layout. Tortilla circle, birria middle, tortilla top. Meh. To be fair, that birria pizza was the only pizza item on that menu, so it made sense that their pizza just wasn't pizza-ing. We were hopeful for a very different experience this time. Especially given the very clear emphasis on pizza on this menu. Then the pizza came. Not only did it look glorious, a bowl of birria dip sat in the middle of the pizza, completing the birria experience. And it was absolutely fantastic. The birria, the ratio, the crust - everything was delicious. Except, as my friend pointed out, the horchata. It can't all be perfect, unfortunately. The pizza was so good that when we wrapped up the leftovers, a strip of end crust went in with the rest of the pie. Speaking of, I'm definitely ready to reheat all of that now - update: Awesome reheated. :) Next visit: Chorizo pineapple jalepeño pizza!

Marsu Pizzeria: The Battle for the Last Slice…read more I walked into Marsu Pizzeria already knowing two things: 1) I was about to have the best pizza of my life. 2) I was going to order way too much food and have no regrets. The place smelled like heaven--garlic, melted cheese, fresh dough. I took a seat, ready to devour a feast. A cheerful employee--let's call him Tony (because let's be real, every good pizzeria has a Tony)--walks up with a confident smile. Tony: "You ready for the best pizza of your life?" Me: "Tony, I've been training for this moment my whole life." I ordered the house special pizza (because if a pizza place has a signature pizza, you ORDER IT), plus some garlic knots, because I respect myself. The food came out fast, hot, fresh, and smelling like a dream. As I'm one slice away from food coma territory, I see it. The last slice. The holy grail. The perfect combination of cheese, sauce, and crispy crust, staring at me like it knows it's about to be devoured. Just as I'm reaching for it, Tony slides by the table, nodding at my plate. Tony: "You gonna finish that?" Me: "...I was planning on it, Tony." Tony: "You sure? I mean, we could put it up for auction. Bidding starts at one garlic knot." Me: "Not happening." Tony: "Alright, but just know... if you don't eat it in the next 30 seconds, I legally get to claim it." Now, I don't know what kind of pizzeria law Tony is operating under, but I wasn't about to test it. I stared him dead in the eyes as I picked up the last slice and took the biggest bite possible. Tony (nodding approvingly): "Good choice. That's the kind of hunger we respect around here." Long story short, Marsu Pizzeria has the best pizza, the best vibes, and employees who will absolutely test your commitment to finishing your food. Final score? 10/10 pizza. 10/10 service. 10/10 threats on my last slice.
