Amazing, thoughtful, honest. After a head to toe inspection, they tuned my 1972 C10 to perfection. Highly recommended!

Took my truck to have the AC checked. Took only one day. Didn't try to replace everything, just fixed what was needed .

Within two weeks of their work, the tread on BOTH rear tires separated from the belts. Was it their fault? The answer seems obvious--judge for yourself: * Timing + duplication = common cause. Two identical failures, on the same vehicle, right after one service event, point to (1) a shared condition introduced, or (2) factory-installed tires that were already failing and weren't detected during an alignment/rotation. The odds of both tires--less than halfway through their usable life--failing identically by chance at the same time are astronomical. Not detecting failing tires during an alignment/rotation is gross incompetence. Either would be a case of Stroeher's dropping the ball--with potentially deadly consequences. * They controlled the risk factors. The service manager (Lane) insisted "nothing we did could have caused it." During alignment/rotation a shop sets tire pressures, handles mounting/beads, torques lugs, and evaluates tire condition. Errors in any of those can lead to overheating/over-deflection, which can result in tread/belt separation (per NTSB and USTMA). So it appears Lane is either unqualified to do his job, or he was lying. * Duty of care--breached. They returned the car still misaligned after charging for alignment, then brushed off concerns. When I said I was unhappy with the original alignment, Lane handed me the keys and said, "If you aren't happy with our service, you should take it somewhere else." No investigation, no documentation, no concern. Bottom line: reckless indifference to customer safety and an abject refusal to take accountability. And I get an alignment that didn't fully align the car and ended up costing me over $700.

Sure enough next day I drove up and spoke with the manager, said no charge if I got brake work, $35 otherwise. They moved a car off the lift and took my truck in. Found some air in one brake line, bled it, added brake fluid and said my brakes were fine. I watched the whole thing, paid, and made appt for oil and filter change. When I came back for that service, it was done efficiently, all fluids topped off. They polished my headlight lenses which were getting cloudy, without being asked. I asked to check my ac as it seemed like it was not cooling well. There was a leak, the leaking valve was replaced, and one can of coolant gas added. The charge for everything was the cost of oil, filter, ac coolant, and one hour of labor. Amazing. They did what was asked, plus polishing headlights, did not try to up-charge for other filters, wiper blades, and other things that the last shop tried to do. Excellent service and value, timely, and friendly staff. This is my go to place now for auto service.

Anyone who has ever worked in an auto repair shop should know to never use RED loctite on a bolt that you NEVER intend to remove. What's worse is that these people used RED loktite on single-use aluminum bolts. BMW informed me that entire transmission has to be dropped in order to drill out and re-tap the bolt holes. This isn't cheap and the lawsuit will be filed the moment the car exits the shop. Stay tunned. I will be posting photos of the loctite and the damage provided to me by BMW.

Their turnaround time is consistently fast without ever sacrificing quality - whether it was replacing our timing belt or fixing a leaking oil pan, the work was done quickly and correctly. What really sets them apart, though, is their honesty and generosity. After being loyal customers over the past year, they went above and beyond and replaced our camshaft actuator completely free of charge. That's the kind of customer care you just don't find anymore. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in doing right by their customers rather than just running up a bill. It's rare to find an auto shop you can trust completely, but APREMIER has earned that trust from us many times over. If you're looking for a reliable, fast, and honest mechanic in San Marcos, look no further. Highly recommend!

I was considering buying a Tundra I really liked from a local dealer, took it to Roy first to rule out issues. He found several issues that would cost me$1500-$3k to repair. The dealership manager was livid, declared the truck was in excellent condition as advertised and tried to say Roy was a bad mechanic....and then immediately dropped the truck price by 3k , and rudely badgered to get me to buy it. ?? So in spite of trash taking the inspection results, he knew they were correct. Tried to pull a fast one and Roy caught it. Truck was close to worth the money after the MAJOR price drop but after the temper tantrums and insults from the dealership manager I wasn't spending a penny there. Great job Roy and thanks for your integrity, I know that manager called and tried to mash on you for telling the truth.
