Im so sad that I forgot to write my review... Let's start with the food. Excellent on all fronts. Loved my waffles . They were perfect..the chicken was crunchy and hot. On to the restaurant. I actually found this spot because of Yelp. It's located in a shopping center near the back. Parking is ample and there's easy access to the front door. It's decorated modestly with great soul music playin low in the background. Being that I have worked in the service industry my whole life I have a higher expectation for service. We got there when the doors opened and there was some confusion on who was there first. Not worried just observing. It seemed a little chaotic but in the end the little guy who waited on us was really sweet. I feel like with some training and experienced wait staff things could be better. Then we let the server know we have to get back to work can he check on how much longer for our order we witness him going to the front and just standing there. The Bs Chicken and Waffles is the best soul food joint in Fontana. I decided to get the chicken and waffle combo 1. I got three wings, a waffle, and Mac and cheese. It was so delicious. The Mac and cheese was homemade with a little toasty top of the Mac and cheese. So it had a crunch similar to Rosco's chicken and waffles. The waffles were good too. It was topped with butter, making the waffle melt in your mouth. The chicken was seasoned well. It was cooked to perfection. It was crispy. The service was excellent. The food was great! The waffles, red beans, mac and cheese, and cornbread were all really good. I would definitely come back for the food. The service could use some improvement. Everyone was nice, but it seemed like there wasn't a clear leader or much organization. Yesterday me and my daughter went to chicken and waffle in Fontana, the place was nice and friendly, they had the R & B playing. . The hostess was nice and friendly. I got the chicken and waffle breakfast. I give it a nine out of 10 my only two concern was my potato was overcooked and the chicken even though it was crispy it needed a little bit more seasoning, other than that, it was fire. B's is a small black owned chicken and waffle spot that provides made to order meals that stay hot and taste delicious. The waffles, chicken and sides are better than anything I've had at bigger restaurant chains like Roscoe's. They even serve Koolaid which has the perfect amount of sweetness. It's unfortunate I had to give B's a lower review, not because of the food but the customer service. I've already seen past reviews about there being short in cooks and the wait staff not knowing what to do and I had the exact same experience. I came with my family and GFs family, a total of 7 of us. We got there right when it opened and we were met with "There's only one cook so it may be about 20 minutes to seat you". I understand the cook needs time to prep, but no they let in 3 groups of 2 each. So somehow the cook is okay with 6 separate people after us but not the 7 people who were here first? Weird. Then we are told to wait outside and it's nearing 100 degrees. Can't sit in the waiting lobby inside so we are sweating and almost ready to leave. We make it inside and finally get sat and although there's only 3 other tables of 2 people it took forever just to get our drink orders. There is more staff than tables, why is it taking this long? Food took about 30 more minutes to get. By this time half the group couldn't even enjoy their food just because of how frustrated we were. More than half the restaurant was empty, yet a "10-15 minute hold" turned into almost 30. The portions are laughable for the price. Honestly, you could buy a single piece of Popeyes chicken, make a waffle at home, and have the same meal for way less than the $20+ they're charging, and it'll be better lol. Service was nonexistent, the vibe was awful (customers on speakerphone, kids blasting tablets, and staff didn't care), the mac and cheese was dry, I found a long skinny bone in the collard greens, and the smothered chicken was terrible (it tasted like a Chinese chicken rice dish!). First of all, food here is AMAZING. Fresh, homemade, seasoned, and made with love. Everyone needs to understand this is a family owned business. They are not a chain restaurant. Yes there may be a long wait, but everything is homemade and fresh. They went viral overnight, and need time to adjust to the overwhelming amount of business they are getting. This place was on my list to try, but the reviews made me take them off my list. One day we were a few doors down getting cookies. And we were really hungry it was about noon. I seen B's and said I think this place is on my list to try. We walked in and it was kinda empty, 3 tables were being served we were excited thinking we beat the rush. A young lady told us it's a 20-30 min wait time cuz they were backed up in the kitchen. I was extremely puzzled cuz I seen only 3 tables being used. So I assumed maybe a to go order. As we're sitting there an about 5 workers just hanging out around the counter not knowing what to do with their time. And one person in the kitchen. Then I seen 2 different set of ppl leaving the dining area. So now there's only 1 table still being served, by this time 20 mins have gone by. A young man asked if we're waiting for an order I said no we're waiting for a table. He said oh let me see about seating you. By this time an older lady was in the kitchen with the other younger person I seen. The young man asks her can we seat ppl. I couldn't hear what she said. Then he goes to the dining area and come back and tells her 1. I'm going to assume that only 1 table was being served. She then gives him the ok to seat us. This was seriously the most odd thing I've ever witnessed at a restaurant. So we sit. 10 min go by the young man comes and asks what we want to drink. We told him we're ready to order. He said oh ok leaves then comes back with something to write. We give him the order and tell him we'll have ice water. He leaves and comes back 10 min later asking if we wanted something to drink. Told him again water. Comes back 5 min later with water. While we're eating for food I seen both waiters going back and forth to the 2 tables cuz they would forget something. Sooooo finally finally finally we were served our food. Let me tell you something. I grew up going to Roscoes chicken and waffles all my life living in LA. And since moving out here to the IE it's really hard to find a place like them or better. I keep my reviews very honest. B's is right up there with Roscoes maybe just a 1/4 off. B's you can tell you take pride in your food and cook with love. Now all you have to do is teach those youngsters how to cook this amazing food so you can serve more ppl at a time. I would love to go back soon but not if I'm waiting forever when there's minimum amount of ppl. Sooo far hands down the best so far I've had in the IE. I was really disappointed with how the place is managed. There were only two cooks in the kitchen and six staff members who seemed limited in what they could do. Be prepared for a long wait (placing a to-go order takes even longer). The owner only serves a few tables at a time, and even though there are visibly open tables, you won't be seated until the manager gives the staff the "okay". We arrived right at opening (12 PM) and were immediately told there would be a wait, with no estimated time given. We ended up waiting 2.5 hours to be seated, and it took another hour for our food to arrive. We didn't leave until 3:40 PM. The food was delicious, but we didn't expect to spend nearly four hours at a restaurant. It would be helpful to have a sign outside explaining the check-in process, something as simple as "Please sign in inside" for new customers. Additionally, the host should explain upfront that the manager uses a controlled seating process, only serving a limited number of tables at a time, due to only two cooks, which will contribute to the wait. This will help manage customer expectations and avoid confusion or frustration. read more

This is my second terrible encounter with your establishment. The first time was in Ontario. We went on a Sunday and it was closed now we come today to support around 2:30 and the young lady in the front says that you guys are not taking any more dining orders only takeout. By the way, the customers that were waiting for their takeout orders looked very discouraged and unhappy.
