(Here is a great place to insert a tip for anyone interested: arrive early). They did have French fries left, but since I'm not much of a french fry person, I decided to just go for a pork chop sandwich instead of their pork chop dinner which came with two sides. The staff was very accommodating and even adjusted the price for me as a pork chop sandwich is not on their menu. Great customer service and a good way to keep customers. I also got the chance to chat with both the man taking my order and the cook. They were genuinely friendly and willing to answer all my questions, even though some were more about the food truck than the food. Really down to earth people. Peering inside the truck while we talked, I noticed that everything looked clean and organized, which hey, is reassuring when you're eating out of a truck :). Initially, I thought that it was taking a bit long to get the pork chop sandwich, that is until I learned that, it's because everything is cooked fresh. It was so worth the wait. When my sandwich was ready, it smelled and looks so good that I couldn't resist taking a bite right away. That single bite turned into several bites because it was just that good. The pork chop wasn't breaded, and it was oh so good. I found myself wishing I had bought two. For the size and taste of the pork chop, it was absolutely worth the price. One thing to note is that their open hours aren't posted on the truck. You have to check Google to see when and where they're available. They explained, that they often cater and can move locations, although their usual spot is the tractor supply parking lot. So no before you go. Besides pork chops, they also serve other soulful dishes like fish, chicken, mac & cheese, collard greens, string beans, candy yams, and more. Wasn't sure I wanted to have fried food at first but so glad I decided to try it anyway. It turned out to be one of the best food trucks we'd had. Ordered whiting with fries - the portion was huge with 3 pieces of fish in a tasty, dry and non greasy batter - which softened a bit on the way so not as crispy but still very good. As prices go it was a great deal at $10 - given the substantial amount of food I still had one piece of fish plus a bunch of fries left, enough for a bonus lunch tomorrow. Only thing for improvement: they should substitute paper containers for the styrofoam boxes which are not suitable for piping hot fried food like this as parts of the boxes were totally melted through by the heat.
