Yikes, I think these high reviews may be from people in this area not knowing what quality Mexican food should actually taste like. Moved to New Hampshire late last year and drove by this taco stand many times over the past few months always wondering what the food was like. Finally took the plunge today and boy were we disappointed. I ordered a grilled chicken bowl and my wife got 3 grilled chicken tacos. Everything was missing flavor from the rice to the chicken. The chicken was also tough and so were the tortillas used to make the tacos. Everything was assembled in a lazy manner as was the way how the veggies and items were chopped up before being added to the meal. The pictures speak for themselves. Delicious place to get food. I just wished they would be open at the Kelly st location as I'm not gonna run around looking for a food truck. The food is amazing if they could just have some regular business hours like a normal business that would be nice like chic filet they have normal business hours and a mobile food truck which doesn't interrupt business. I grew up in Londonderry I love this place and live near the location but can never get it because they don't open. Last year the fire dept was there because of smoke or something in the building then they opened again after what felt like a year and had regular hours now they are closed and I'm sad because if you get the chance go in there it is epic and the records and lunch boxes on the wall are so cool!!! It's a small family run business which I love as my parents owned a restaurant as I was growing up. Seems that the owner of B's Taco's, (Ken Spilman), may want to brush up on Hospitality 101; maybe he skipped the chapter on good customer service? I dined at B's Tacos on 5/21/21, the same day that another dissatisfied patron, (Carrie M.), posted a review. Since her impressions closely reflected my own, I opted to hold my review; though after seeing Ken's righteous defense in reply to her posting, I now feel I should kick in my 2 cents. Ken's attitude toward his customer leaves a taste in my mouth, almost as bad as his Rice Bowl did. Ken took the time to publicly critique Carrie's review after she chose not to respond to a confrontational private message offering a refund in exchange for taking down her negative review, (which violates Yelp's Terms by the way: https://www.yelp-support.com/article/What-should-I-do-if-a-business-pressures-or-pays-me-to-change-or-remove-my-negative-review?l=en_US). It's understandable that the business owner would be a bit butthurt over criticism. The COVID climate only exacerbates the issue-- but when you jump to insulting and extorting your clientele, you should anticipate a chance that you get ghosted. Since Ken's public response seems to distort the whole picture, I feel that I should offer my own constructive feedback on the visit, and let readers be adequately informed: On my visit, I was looking to place a to-go order. Upon entry, it was clear that the counter employee wasn't feelin' it. (I get it. It was a nice spring day, and she was stuck slinging tacos). So I overlooked her attempt to avoid eye contact, and stepped up to get some attention. I placed my order which came with an up-front promise of a 15 minute wait. To be clear I had no problem with the wait, (hell, I get the same at Mickey D's), but her gruff delivery was a bit off-putting. Anyhow, I ordered a Rice Bowl with Steak. I also asked for a tortilla on the side, which seemed to be quite an imposition. I was happy to pay extra for it, but it seemed to just cause frustration and confusion while she searched the register system for a way to key it in. (I won't be the last to ask, so you might want to add a button!) As I waited for my bowl, I got to hear the Kitchen staff remarking about how it must be "make your own menu day at B's Taco's" and "what the f*uck is this sh*t?!" Clearly they were pissed at my side order. Still, I remained hopeful, that perhaps the food was so glorious, it would justify some indignance from such artisan chefs. Sadly, this didn't turn out to be the case. The food was very bland and lackluster. The steak was an unexpected philly-style shaved steak, which seemed too much like the ground beef I was trying to avoid by requesting "steak". Either way, I didn't detect much flavor, and certainly not garlic as the menu promised. The menu states the bowls come with "Spanish rice", which I hoped was perhaps someone's culturally misinformed, way of describing Mexican rice, which is typical in this application. Not so, however. It was a flat-tasting tomato colored mush, which definitely had been around for a while-- hardly worthy of the namesake "Rice Bowl" All said, I was happy I got the tortilla on the side because it helped make the meal a tad more redeemable. Also the to-go containers are reusable, so I guess it wasn't a total loss. I might have gone back to B's Tacos and tried something different, had the owner's bullish behavior not chased me away. The meat had amazing flavor and was not greasy at all. I can make two meals out of this one. This was my first visit after my husband's second visit and him telling me I need to go. Really wanted to like this place because it's convenient, but third time has not been the charm. My first try was with fish tacos. The fish was not cooked through. Also ordered rice and beans; as stated in other reviews, orange colored rice (perhaps tomato juice was added to the cooking liquid?), and beans that had no flavor. I was told the fish was grilled, but no grill marks. I was offered a replacement after being told "it definitely is cooked through", but had lost my appetite. Next time I just got chips and salsa. The salsa was very good, but there simply wasn't enough of it. Need at least double what they provide. Today tried a beef taco and a grilled chicken taco. The corn tortillas were...chewy. Maybe fried the previous day? The flavor of the beef was off-putting (Old El Paso seasoning is superior to whatever they used), and the chicken was poached or something. There was no way the taco was made with grilled chicken. The tortillas were generously filled, but if it doesn't taste good, generous servings don't matter. That's it for me. No plans to return. Had been working all day, when we saw the truck we thought, great, let's grab a quick bite. 2 x $8 It was ok. I mean I was real hungry but I didn't want to eat more then one, usually I need at least three. Owner was ok, transactional, order, pay, order up! No old school charm, no conversation. After two couples ordered it was just two of us, ackwardly standing there, I mean it's a weird time for sure maybe the guys had a lot on his mind. He seemed preoccupied... don't know. Once we were greeted and order placed we were then told it would be at least a 15 minute wait (so much for a quick lunch). While waiting for our food to be prepared we had the pleasure of hearing the woman who was working up front complain about how many customers they had and the chef gripe about the custom order he was asked to prepare. We hired B's Tacos for my son's rehearsal dinner, and we were extremely satisfied! Not only were they there on time (close to an hour's drive), but they were extemely accommodating! Our guests were raving about the food, as evidenced by them getting seconds (and in some cases thirds). I removed my original review with a 1 star for the Londonderry location after having received 4-6 messages from the owner, stating an example of having sold so many thousand tacos - that means nothing to me. He did not thank me for removing my review, nor was he polite whatsoever. These are not the "best taco's you'll ever have" and the serving sizes are so tiny for the price. I despise Taco Bell, but totally wished I had gone there instead. No masks, no gloves during COVID-19. No "free avocado" provided with my 2 tiny miniscule, non-fresh/dry beef brisket taco's that cost $13.00 and change. I was starved after eating those. They were soft tacos, usually she doesn't like soft tacos but she said they were absolutely delicious. The drive up line moved quickly. Absolute garbage. I'm all for supporting small businesses but I am not supporting these frauds. 56 dollars for 4 rice bowls with flavourless meats . My steak and rice bowl was supposed to have "garlic chipotle "marinated steak instead I got bland shaved steak . Another red flag was seeing ground beef on their menu . Their veggies weren't even fresh and the rice had no flavour to it. This place comes no where close to the high quality ingredients you get at places like California Burrito on south willow street .Taco Bell and Chipotle have more flavour than this tragedy. read more

I ordered the Taco Party Pack for a small bachlorette party that I was having...everything was AMAZING!! I picked the food up from Kenny at 11:30, he explained how to reheat everything and how to heat the tortillas, it came with everything you would need, 2 types of meat, rice, beans, pico de gallo, cheese, tortillas, and some taco sauce. Everything was delicious and there were plenty of leftovers! He said it was for 20 people, but it easily could have fed 30-40! I highly recommend B's Tacos and Kenny for any event...I live in Woburn, MA about 40mins away and I will definitely take the trek up to try some of his other food straight off the truck!! read more
