I tried making an appointment with them on numerous occasions but they never have returned my emails or inquiries. I assume they do not want my business and I suspect it's because I am a member of a minority. They have very poor business practices. I had contacted a competitor and within seconds someone had called me back and I was able to make an appointment for exactly what I wanted. Look elsewhere this company is a joke.

The services were described as weekly visits for 8 weeks and then one visit every other week for the rest of the year. That's 30 visits...and a hair piece. I received the hair piece and only went to the salon for 10 treatments. Some serious medical issues arose that included two hospital stays and a stay in a nursing home. I kindly asked to cancel all remaining unused services and receive a refund so I could pay the medical bills. The stylist said she will need to crunch the numbers and send a report to the owner so a refund could be issued for the correct amount. I called every week. The excuses were piling up. After a month went by, which was a reasonable amount of time, I started calling a few times a week and asking to speak to the owner. Everyone said she would call me back. SHE NEVER DID. Approaching a 60 day milestone now and the sweet stylist, who should not be put in the middle, called me and said I was being unreasonable. She said the office manager would call me today and plans to AGAIN ask that I consider pausing my services rather than getting a refund. I reminded her that we already had that conversation two months ago and look forward to hearing from the office manager today. Guess who did not call me today? Why would I want to ever go back there after the way they have treated me now? Be cautious of paying for any service up front!

While the look of the salon may tempt you to go inside for a walk in, book your appointment online. The stylists take their time with customers, which is what you want (especially with hair color). Stylists are diversified in their skill and technique and whether you are looking for the latest in hair color, extensions, nails, or a curly hair specialist, you can have it done there . They also sell a lot of the newest hair products that you only really see on instagram and not in stores. I have very curly dark brown hair. I know how important it is to go to a stylist that understands texture and hair health, and they definitely understand here. I have been going to the owner for years and the majority of clients are repeat customers so that should tell you something.

I ended up opting for a white rose one. I also got number balloons for a little under $2 each. I appreciate the cashier who caught that I grabbed a Q instead of a number zero. I wanted to get numbered candles but they were almost $3 each and for the number 100, that would end up costing almost $10. There is plenty of parking here because the plaza is a little dead. I saw lots of milestone birthday decor but it only went up to age 90. They have a large card selection as well and a $1 cards section. I thought some of their birthday themes were creative and new. I saw a bee themed decor for a gender reveal party and "adventure awaits" for a baby's birthday party. Their balloon selection is unbeatable. I wish balloons weren't as expensive as they are.
