Knowledgeable about all the latest skincare, she takes the time to thoroughly check and evaluate your skin and explain what she sees and how to best treat it, including holistic methods if that's an interest for you. A few years ago, it was clear I had bad interactions with different ingredients in products, but we didn't know which they what. Theresa uses a special system of skin testing that comes from Canada and will give you not only what you're reacting to, but gives you lists of current products on the market that contain it. When I moved back to DC, my excellent dermatologist there had never heard of this testing program and wanted to purchase it herself. I'm now living in New England and as family is local here, I figured why not come back to Theresa versus try my luck with another? Her front desk staff is super warm and friendly and fit me in quickly. Her new office is super cute and there's even a fresh juice bar inside. Her esthetician does consults for different services, including makeup using the highest quality products. I even offered to pay the difference. She told me no and that I needed the box the tube came in. Meanwhile, she followed up with loudly snapping at two fellow employees about setting a product down on the desk. Terrible management and costumer service. The staff is friendly. Heather performed skin tightening laser treatment. I have recently been diagnosed with rosacea and she focused on the areas where I am starting to see some redness. She was very friendly and attentive. Since I have never had this performed anywhere before, I really have no baseline to compare it to. She could have been super thorough or not nearly thorough enough and I would have no clue! She initially cleaned my face, applied the laser and then a tightening mask. The whole process was approximately one hour. I was told that the collagen production doesn't increase for 3 weeks and it takes 3 sessions to see results.
