This place was delicious! I always get pad Thai when we get Thai food, this time the waitress suggested I try something different- so I had a delicious dish with fried chicken- which was very flavorful and crispy! My boyfriend had the heaven fried rice- portions were pretty generous for us too! She brought out different sauces out for us to try- we had the chicken satay for appetizer, and that was delicious as well! Service was great- attentive, suggestions were great, you could tell they knew the menu. Overall a great place to eat, friendly and attentive! read more

Very good! We enjoyed the sampler (especially the Chicken Dumplings and Crab Rangoon). The Fried Chicken Wings and kid's Noodles with Chicken were a little bland. The brown rice was also a little odd (had black beans in it). However, the Yellow Chicken Curry was AMAZING! We'll definitely return! read more

I was skeptical of a food place in a strip mall but Bua Thai has won me over. The food is always fresh and high quality with great flavor. We've gone to this place a handful of times because we live so close. The first experience wasn't too bad. Another time we walked over and ordered to-go. We literally waited at least an hour for our food. We probably would've been served quicker if we just ate there. Each time we've done take out, the portions seemed so small. I even ordered extra chicken the next time to see if it'd help make the portion size larger, it didn't. I was really hoping to like this place since it's so close to us. I've only ever taken food to-go from here but have consistently been impressed! Orders are prepared quickly and service is excellent with friendly conversation every time I pick up. The only reason for 4 stars was due to my husband's pretty strong dislike of cashew chicken he ordered. I thought I would try the Crispy Orange Chicken and that was a mistake. 1) it was not crispy 2) the chicken was mushy and trenched in a cream that was suppose to taste orange but just tasted like I was eating a mushy orange peel and 3) I could have gotten a better chicken dish from the Safeway Chinese food. The rice was good though. If you eat here just stick to the curry and Phad Thai that's about all they can cook. read more

Food is good, service is slow and food doesn't seem to come out in order of when orders have been placed either of the times we were in there. I don't recommend the chicken wing appetizers, flavorless and greasy. If you like to plan on leftovers you'll want to order extra. Serving sizes are not what I've seen at most noodle houses. read more

We ordered from BUA Thai on my birthday a two weeks ago. I was so surprised to find good Thai food in Lake Stevens! The garlic chicken was full of flavor. The yellow curry was DELICIOUS! Had it's soft opening today. I will update my review once they have been open a bit longer, but today wasn't great. The servers were very nice, but I had to ask for water several times. It wasn't busy when we went in, but two entrees took nearly an hour and a half to come out. They were out of several things (understandable, they don't know how much to keep in stock yet) but out of all things to be out of, white rice seemed odd. The cucumber sake is really good and refreshing. The chicken in my zesty ginger stir fry was really good, but bits of it were dry. We'll be back soon with an updated review! read more

So good! I had the Tom Kha Gai soup, 1 star, with chicken, and my husband had the Pineapple Curry medium star. My husband said he wouldn't have wanted it any spicier, and mine was perfection. Nice and light, as I wasn't starving. Both had flavors that popped--delish! The Thai Ice Tea was different, but my husband liked it. Authentic and very tasty. Thought we would give Thai place a try as we are new to the area. I had drove past it a few times, noticed the yelp rating were pretty good. Tonight we had the appetizer sample of spring rolls, crab wontons, prawn wraps etc. I was worried they might be greasy but they were excellent. They come with a couple of sauces. We had had for main courses the chicken pad Thai which was very good and also the red curry with prawns 3 stars. Perfectly spiced and creamy. I opted for the brown rice with black beans to go with the curry instead of the jasmine. I would highly recommend. Service was efficient. Staff was pleasant. Got a to go menu on the way out. They have the best beef noodle soup on Lake Stevens. The fresh rolls with peanut sauce is pretty great also.

We finally remember to go to this place to eat, and we were impressed (young kids too). Everything looked and tasted so good. We started with the Crab Ragoon and Chicken potstickers, which were above average. They came out HOT and fast (and my 6 year old and 8 year old loved them). The Thai Hot Basil chicken was very good with a unique great flavor (and we ordered it a medium spicy). I personally loved the Pad Thai Chicken, but wished there was more meat. The kiddos got the Beef Pad See Ew, but they really only ate the beef and veggies, as the noodles were a lot larger than they normally see (it wasn't the type of noodle dish that should've been recommend for kids). Overall, everyone loved it and we all shared everything, family style: A- (would've gotten an A+ but the kids noodle dish wasn't exactly noodles, but larger broken chunky noodles, but they were very good). **Most of the customers that came in there, while we ate, had to-go, take-out orders. Great place to eat and so close. Beats any local teriyaki... **if they have added a simple kids menu (like noodles / veggies / meat) then even better. read more

My wife found it by happenstance. I was honestly reluctant. We sat down and had our appetizers in 5-10 minutes. My wife doesn't like prawns, but I do. I ordered coconut prawns as a starter. She tried them and fell in love (never happened, in 15 years I've known her). The entrees came and were equally as delicious. The service was wonderful. We will be back.
