Thai ice coffee and honeydew melon bubble tea!
    Lori J.

Always come here with my vegan friend. Food is great, service is even better. The kindest people I've met in a long time. Food is affordable and plentiful. The egg rolls and spring rolls were delicious with the dipping sauce. The shrimp toast was crunchy and flavorful. The chicken satay was in a peanut sauce which I normally do not like but it was mild and enjoyable in my opinion. Chicken was kinda chewy but not overly tough. The drinks are AMAZING. Strongly recommend the bubble tea and my friend said the coffee is always a hit as well! She got a vegetable curry which she said was really good! Will certainly come by again. I have been going to this restaurant for years. I love that it's family-owned and everyone that works here makes the whole experience fun and cozy. They are all so kind The food is definitely made with love and all fresh ingredients. All of the food is amazing but my favorite is the fresh spring rolls with the homemade peanut sauce. I always order extra I even put it in the delicious phad Thai So good

Treated my wife to lunch and she said she wanted Pho. We made a few calls and found this place offered gluten free options. The staff, the mother cooks the food and the son works the tables. They are super friendly and he was eager to help us with our selections as we are new to Thai. We tried a started the Salad Rolls, they were amazing, the sauce that went with it as well amazing. We did make a slight change as i am allergic to shrimp. My wife came here with one thing in mind, the Pho and she enjoyed every bite that followed along on it. Sadly for the life of me I cant remember what my dish was called but i do remember thinking I will definitely be getting it again as they added just enough spice for my liking. I will definitely be asking them again about it next time we are in as i have the picture of it lol. Over all this is a 5* place with great service amazing food and reasonably priced.

I'm so confused...are there new owners? Was this place once delicious? Because I'll tell you what, it's not now. It was SO bland. No spice, no flavor. Our whole plate was basically white due to the lack of sauce/spices. ANOTHER THING: kiddo has peanut allergy, we called to ask if there was peanuts on the food, they said no, and it clearly tasted like straight peanut butter. Who lies about that sort of thing... Extremely disappointed...the only reason you see food gone from the plate is because there was a starving 6 month pregnant lady at the table who couldn't wait. Also, the free soup came with macaroni noodles, what Asian restaurant has macaroni noodles in the soup?! that's a no from me.

We went to Journeys East when it first opened, and we liked it a lot. It didn't blow our minds at the time, but it was good and worth going back to for sure. Tonight, we went back again, and holy cow, I can't say enough about the quality and the value and how much they've improved over the last year. Maria was our server and she was perfect in her service and her recommendations. Friendly, attentive, and just all around a great server. First, we tried the Potstickers (per Maria's suggestion) which came with six large doughy pillows filled with pork goodness and served with a soy and scallion sauce. Delectable. We then had the Red Dragon roll, which was spicy and savory with all the right textures and flavors. SO good. Shrimp, avocado, spicy tuna, tempura, yum. Finally, we had the Mongolian Beef, which while a bit salty (the soy), was made with delicious tender cuts of beef and large fresh spring onions and was some of the best I've had. AND, the Honey Walnut Prawns which were HANDS DOWN the best I've ever had period. Sweet, but not overly so, with ample sauce but not swimming in it, perfectly cooked and still crisp battered prawns, of perfect size, and served hot out of the pan. Ridiculously amazing! SO good. I'm so glad we gave Journeys East another go around. Tulalip has always had good restaurants, but over the last two years, they have really outdone themselves. Highly, highly recommend this spot in particular, even if it takes a bit of driving to get there. 100% worth imt. 5 star service and cuisine. Please note that they do not take reservations on weekends, but on this Saturday night, we were seated within 30 minutes which is exactly what we were quoted.

But it was nice. We were greeted and seated right away, parking was easy, and the food came out quickly. Inside is clean with cute décor that feels more inviting than you'd expect from the outside. The food was the highlight. The swimming rama with noodles and chicken was really good. The fried brussels sprouts were a standout, and the fried spring rolls and pineapple fried rice were all solid. As we drove there it is street parking, but we did find free public parking across the street. It is like a small little park you could say. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted and mind you it was the first time there and they let us take our time ordering. It's really cool because you can make your own bowl and you could choose any noodles any meat for additional cost any broth, etc all for $10 or you could already get what is created for $15. Also, the restaurant inside was so cute because there were drawings on the walls and lots of little cat figurines. It is a small place so it will get crowded if there was a lot of people since there are not a lot of tables and chairs. - kimchi tofu noodle: the glass noodles worked perfect with the soup. The soup was the right amount of spice. The kimchi gives it a little bit of sourness, but I just wish the tofu ( it claims to be soft ) was kind of firm. I was obsessed with the pickled radish. (Sisters food) - stew beef rice bowl: this rice bowl was very flavorful. I shared it with my little one and he loved it. The proportions were perfect. The meat was not too hard, but not soft. I would prefer it to be more soft, but I'm not complaining. - pho noodles with Vietnamese soup: the little one destroyed it. The taste to her was really good. I tried it and it was good, but I'm sure it would be better with spices.

I added heat from the spice table, and their vinegar soaked jalenpenos to add in were chefs kiss! We also enjoyed the Japanese Miso Ramen. Of course we also ordered bobas - Mango milk tea (was the BEST my daughter ever had and she's quite the expert), my Thai Iced tea was perfection as well.
