We always get the yellow curry with tofu and salad rolls and phad see ew! It's delish! We have only come a few times but it's always been really good! We are vegan, and it can be hard to even find vegan food around here but it's impossible to fine GOOD vegan food around here! This might be my new go to spot in the area. Service and the food were great. The inside was clean and had plenty of seating! I got the special platter and all the appetizers were amazing. The egg rolls and spring rolls were delicious with the dipping sauce. The shrimp toast was crunchy and flavorful. The chicken satay was in a peanut sauce which I normally do not like but it was mild and enjoyable in my opinion. Chicken was kinda chewy but not overly tough. The drinks are AMAZING. Treated my wife to lunch and she said she wanted Pho. We made a few calls and found this place offered gluten free options. The staff, the mother cooks the food and the son works the tables. They are super friendly and he was eager to help us with our selections as we are new to Thai. We tried a started the Salad Rolls, they were amazing, the sauce that went with it as well amazing. We did make a slight change as i am allergic to shrimp. My wife came here with one thing in mind, the Pho and she enjoyed every bite that followed along on it. Sadly for the life of me I cant remember what my dish was called but i do remember thinking I will definitely be getting it again as they added just enough spice for my liking. I'm so confused...are there new owners? Was this place once delicious? Because I'll tell you what, it's not now. It was SO bland. No spice, no flavor. Our whole plate was basically white due to the lack of sauce/spices. ANOTHER THING: kiddo has peanut allergy, we called to ask if there was peanuts on the food, they said no, and it clearly tasted like straight peanut butter. Who lies about that sort of thing... Extremely disappointed...the only reason you see food gone from the plate is because there was a starving 6 month pregnant lady at the table who couldn't wait. A friend recommended Mai's and I'm glad we tried it. Small family-owned restaurant with friendly staff. We ordered the Salad Roll (fresh spring rolls with vermicelli noodles, pork and shrimp). I liked their version of it and their peanut sauce is just that - good ol' peanut sauce just as I like it! Their Pad See Ew was also very good, although I wish there was more noodles (you do get a good helping of beef and scrambled egg in the dish). Fried Rice was also good (it was actually pineapple fried rice) along with their Green Curry. Restaurant was only open for to-go orders, but it was clean and food was ready in 15 minutes on a Friday night). Will definitely return to try their other dishes! read more

This is not a Thai restaurant but is a Chinese Restaurant disguised as Thai. I ordered Phad Kee Maw at night and here are some of the points that I noticed: 1. This is the first and only Thai Rest. that I have come across where rice is not included with the entree. Interestingly Lunch Menu includes it. 2. My dish should have had fresh vegetables. It did include 1 small square piece of red bell pepper, 2 pieces of green bell peppers, a couple of broccoli flowerets, 2-3 basil leaves and a few pieces of carrots. Most of the dish was rice noodles with a few nuggets of eggs. 3. Had a strong smell and bad taste of used oil to the point that it was uneatable. 4. Me and my wife had upset stomach and headache after coming back home. 5. Ambience -- Nothing to write about, like a typical chinese take-out place. 6. Fried bananas with Vanilla ice-cream -- Bananas are rolled in egg-roll kind of sheets and fried and were full of the same used oil and were practically un-eatable. My husband and I both think the food wasn't anything to RAVE about, but I would give it a solid four stars because the food was good enough, the owner was friendly when we picked up the food, everything we ordered was nicely bagged up and ready for us, nothing leaked out on the way home. The amount of rice we received for the price of a side of rice seemed generous. I would say in terms of spiciness, they were very shy with the stars. We got chicken pad Thai, pad see ew, chicken fried rice, a vegetable dish with tofu, coconut red curry, and garlic prawns. My favorite dish is where the pad see ew and the chicken fried rice though it did not seem like the peas were very fresh in their chicken fried rice. I also ordered the bubble tea - The coconut and pineapple flavor. It was too sugary for my taste and I couldn't taste The pineapple so much. But I get why people like it. I think next time I want to do Thai food for takeout I will probably come back here rather than try a different Thai place. read more

I've been coming here for over 10 years. The food is always great, the service is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Today I tried one of the vegetarian dishes, something I'd typically shy away from. It was delicious, well-flavored and satisfying. The Thai tea is a favorite I have almost every time come here. Mai is such a sweetheart, she never bats an eye when I request changes or modifications to my dish, something some restaurants act as though is a real pain for them. I'm assuming that because there were only two workers - a man and a woman who were a bit older) At first when our group of 5 came in we were the only people. It quickly filled up with others with a steady stream of pickups. Their pad Thai was great!! It's not a sweet chili sauce but a peanut based one. Not very creamy, and you should order up on spice because mild and medium were almost nothing. The woman was very attentive to my odd questions on the pad Thai. I haaaaaaate sweet chili sauce based ones and won't order if that's how it's going to come. Thai and bubble teas were yummy. My husband and I found Mai's completely by accident tonight and now it's definitely our new favorite restaurant. I had to laugh because my husband loved our experience so much that he didn't want me to write this review so he could keep this spot to himself haha. I ordered the yellow curry and it was literally the best I've ever had. The chicken was tender, the veggies were cooked to perfection and were in balance with each other. The curry sauce was absolutely fantastic. I got a 4 star curry that was creamy with the most delightful combination of spices and coconut. My husband tends to be a bit picky and he loved his 4 star Pad Thai. I'm still surprised that Mai's isn't a super busy restaurant. It is a super clean, tastefully decorated place that's great for date night. It's shockingly affordable to boot. We're so happy to have found it and will be back very soon. read more
