I came here with my dad when they were rebuilding. They were not yet working with their full menu so I wasn't able to sample all the things I usually would have. What I really liked about the place was how they were fighting hard to stay open as they rebuilt and found a method that worked for them. We had to sit outside under a tent which was to be expected and rather inconsequential. The ribs were perfect as was the sausage. Wasn't a total fan of the Mac and cheese and the beer menu was probably limited due to the circumstances. I'll definitely go back now that they are open again. read more

Ok the have Pepsi products which I'm not a fan of but I do like Starry. I ordered the wings in buffalo, a side of brisket and a Taxes toast. The ambiance is casual and I was seated right away they have great service! Food was good loved the wings, the brisket was a little dry but great flavor. Food was very good--best wings I've ever had and brisket was pretty good. Service was phenomenal. We had Akiali on what was supposedly her first night...she was more like a seasoned veteran. This was my first time at this restaurant! It was appropriately decorated for a barbecue joint and the service was excellent from the hostess stand to the food server. The food came out cooked perfectly! The brisket was very lean and made for a delicious sandwich! My husband's baked potato was very large and loaded with delicious toppings. Nice local spot we stopped in while visiting Tampa for the weekend. Great tasting BBQ. Great prices and good amount of food for the price .... Friendly staff and fast service! Nice variety of bbq sauces to taste with and try out .... St Louis ribs are the best amongst everything they offer in my opinion... very tasty and very tender. The brisket was not the best as it was a little on the dry side... they asked if we wanted more moist or dry and of course I said moist but it was kinda dry so can't imagine someone wanting dry and how it would have been if it was their preference assuming it would be. The wings maybe would be good if you get them plain and sauce them yourself as if it's sauced, it's over drenched in sauce so bet to get plain and sauce them your self at the table. I wanna say first I had the smoked wings previously and they were good. So wanted to try the ribs. It was a Thursday for early lunch. I ordered the rib and fries. I believe Megan was my server. Great server, knew I was gonna have my tea in a to go cup before I asked. Unfortunately the ribs came out and they were (what seems to me, left over from the night before) Terrible two bones in I was done, dry and burnt. I'm not one to complain but Megan suspected something was wrong. I was just gonna pay and never return again. She asked so I told her honestly they were dry and didn't taste good. The manager came took one look and said they weren't ones he would have served . I told him I didn't want a discount and just wanted to pay and leave. He insisted to get some to go . I really wasn't going to eat them. Fool me once etc. I did reach in at the job site and tried it. The ones he gave me were a true representation of ribs. Bark was good nice smoke ring and they weren't dry. I wouldn't have thought they came from the same place. The manager on duty saved a customer and I will go there again a few times before the project ends. Service was 5star. I'm from Kansas City so we take our bbq pretty serious. I can only be honest the ribs were a solid 4. That's pretty good in my book. read more

I will try Bubbaque's again because maybe I just ordered the wrong meat; their brisket was very, very dry. However, they do make some awesome sides (I really liked their mac, fried okra, butter toast, and baked beans). Next time I'll try their ribs. Service was great. But the coleslaw changed (apparently their distributor is to blame) but no one said anything. Lots of diced carrots, very little cabbage. Also the pulled pork was very dry. Kinda disappointing overall. Normally we love this place. read more

We love the option of having BubbaQues near us. My husband and I got the 2 pick combo. The portions are huge! The chicken wings were meaty and the St Louis ribs were too. I didn't like the smoked turkey as much. It has a deli meat slice feel to it. Catrina is as a great server! read more

The sweet smokey smell hits you in the parking lot.....so expectations begin to form. The staff is attentive and very friendly enhancing you positive experience. The menu has enough choices to satisfy everyone. They have 7 BBQ sauce choices on the table, I suggest trying them all to find your favorite. This visit I ordered the brisket, lean (they give you a choice of lean, fatty or mixed). The brisket was a bit dry, so had to put more sauce than I typically like. Potato salad side was good, but nothing exceptional. I know a slice of white bread is traditional, but I really like corn bread with my BBQ, so would like to see that as an option. Super disappointed in my meal tonight. Ordered a full slab of ribs and 2 sides, beans and coke slaw. The ribs were barely lukewarm. The Brisket Basket was good...not great. The Rib Basket was terrible. Two types of ribs. One with sauce the other not. Both were dried out like they were from yesterday PLUS they had way too much salt. Almost like someone dropped the container. My son at the Brisket and I tossed the Ribs. I ordered this for pickup but they couldn't find my order. Finally found it when hey asked for my FIRST name. The dinners were lukewarm when we got them home. 4 stars for food. I had the combo dinner and ordered the brisket, half chicken, cole slaw and jalapeño poppers. Brisket was great. Super tender and moist. Chicken had a nice smoky flavor but a little dry. Cole slaw was good but a little on the sweet side. Jalapeño poppers were a little sweet and a little dry.
