You can't see the bar from the dining room as you must walk through a door. The bar was nice with pads along the edge and hooks underneath to hang your purse. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered fried fish which came with hushpuppies and fries. My lunch was deliscious! The fish was fresh and there was the perfect amount of breading (not too much). The straw fries were hot and yummy. I only ate half and took the rest home for dinner. There was a huge outdoor patio in the back. And both the dining room and patio had stages for live music. This spot had dive vibes but was super clean (even the bathroom). It's not far from the heart of downtown Live Oak and not far from the railroad tracks, either, of which you become quickly aware when a freight train passes by. Despite the small space, they have a pool table inside, a bar (of course) and that pool table doubles as a buffet table when they have potlucks and the like. There is apparently also an outdoor tiki bar area in the yard behind the building but I didn't go back there. Beer is the preferred spirit it seems and the crowd is about 99% locals, mostly middle-aged but some in their early to mid twenties. The theme therefore is country/biker to an extent but they were playing old hard rocks standards when I was there and then . . . something . . . not sure what it was, but some song I remember from the early 2000s that probably was Linkin Park or a band that copied Linkin Park. So aside from the B-list or C-list early 2000s blast from the past, a very cool and low-key bar in a very handy location in Live Oak.

When we walked in, it was as advertised, a nice little biker bar with pool tables and they do in fact have very good burgers and cold beer. We had great service, great food, great prices, and actually stayed there much longer than we planned. The potato dippers were room temp. The waitress was very nice, understanding and offered to make things right. They took the fish and shrimp were taken off the bill and she offered to have the kitchen remake the order, which I declined. The sushi roll was great so at least 1 item hit the mark. Overall not a good experience and really disappointed that at no point did anyone from management come over to discuss our issues. They were not busy and not sure what issues they were having in the kitchen but WOW!!! Such a difference between our first visit and today. Not sure we will be back and hope anyone else that try's this place has a better experience than we did. So at the end of the meal we asked the waitress if there was a manger on site to which she replied there was and would she like if we wanted to speak with them. I asked if they were aware of our issues to which she replied "yes". I told her there was no need since management was aware but had no desire to come out and attempt to address the issues. Goes to a lack of management skills and overall no concern about the customer or the quality of their food. Leaving hungry, disappointed and perplexed. Really hate it for the wait staff since they have no control over a dysfunctional kitchen and management team.
