    Combo-Relleno, Tamale, Enchillada, and Tostada
    Arthur G.

The litmus test for me when I first visit a Mexican restaurant is the huevos rancheros. My wife ordered a combination plate with a chili relleno, tamale, enchilada, and tostada. The huevos rancheros were quite good. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and the potatoes crispy. The beans were okay. My only issue was the green chili, as it was pretty average and had very little flavor much less spiciness. The tortillas that came with the dish were quite tasty. The red chili on my wife's plate was much tastier albeit on the salty side. The tamale was soft and the masa harina tasted fresh. The batter on the chili relleno was tough and would benefit from being updated. The enchilada was tasty. The service was on the abrupt side but passable. The prices were wallet friendly. The place is small but clean.

The service was unbelievably awesome! We had the friendliest server. The food was fresh, delicious and piping hot. We got breakfast here. I got the Santa Fe Skillet with eggs over easy. Delicious. Green chile was amazing. My wife got the huevos with beans and potatoes which were equally delicious. The salsa they gave us to add some spicy were terrific too. Reasonably priced and plenty of parking. Authentic mexican food!

That's the awesome green chili with extra pork. Don't forget the extra pork!

Thank Hod I'm back in the land of Hatch Chili, or one that sells it. The Green chili is great! They had an option I'd never heard of, sweet or regular. The description on the sweet version was the pork was marinated in something like a teriyaki sauce. Ironic yes!

Came here for a quick lunch. We had carne asada tacos, micheladas and a cheese quesadilla. The food was good and the service was excellent. Totally recommend this place if you are ever in Aurora.

Not sure if you can make reservations, but the hubby and I walked-in without one. We chose to sit at the bar. I kid you not, the couple next to us ordered their food and it came out in less than 5 minutes. We were all impressed. The bar tender was our server, he made us delicious mimosas. They have an extensive drink list btw. If I was feeling extra fun, I would've ordered an espresso martini. Now to the main course, I opted for something different, "the K-Mack" which includes a Korean fried buttermilk chicken with a cabbage slaw and green onions. It was so good. My mouth is watering thinking about it again haha. Aside from our delicious brunch, the restaurant vibe screams Denver. Lots of decor, plants, art, different kind of seating. It's fun. We also gave their cinnamon roll a shot, and were very pleased with the gooey, deliciousness of this baked good! I tried the chilaquiles for my main entree and was pleasantly impressed. I did order my eggs sunny side up, and well, they tried but they came out a little over cooked-no biggie though. Our server was very nice and kept tabs on us frequently throughout our meal- this was very much appreciated!

The space is nice and quaint but the seats at the high top tables made for an uncomfortable sitting situation for me. My butt isn't big but it's not small but I kept sliding while seated as did my husband so he grabbed a yellow chair from the bar. We even had a conversation with the table next to us and they experienced the same thing! Anyway, I ordered the grilled chicken avocado sandwich and the house potatoes and a coke. Not bad, loved the house potatoes and a side of bacon cooked extra crispy. My hubby ordered pancakes, two patties (frozen) eggs and house potatoes too. He said they were ok but ate the food any way. The customer experience wasn't bad at all the waitress was quick and doing her best to get the food out hot and fresh. One thing would be great is to ask guests if it's their first time and share the favorites of the house and make recommendations. My suggestions to the owner, please replace the sliding chairs and if you need help getting some wooded high bar chairs, I can help. Would I try it again ?

I asked for cream and sugar, and she said it was on the counter inside. It was a giant cup of coffee (which is awesome) but it was filled to the top. So I burned my hand when I spilled it, trying to get in sugar. By this time I was very frustrated. I went back to my table and my food came up almost immediately. The server was smiling and friendly.
