The aftermath of the NGL Special; delish!
    Bill B.

A small burger joint nestled next to a pawn shop. first time visit, I went for the NGL special, an avocado and bacon cheeseburger with the works, a drink and fries. Everything was fresh on delivery, crispy fries, no proprietary sauces or seasonings, just the natural flavors, though I did use ketchup on the fries.

NGL Burgers in Aurora-i was starving & homestyle burger sounded delish.. I highly recommend this place.I took a gamble with a new place. Any place that has Hot Chili Peppers ready to go has a place in my heart!!

    Delicious burger!

Absolutely delicious burgers and fries! Small business awesomeness that i LOVE supporting! Burger is on point!

The worst burger ever. Not even an inch thick, asked for bacon, he argued with me that I didnt...look at that cheese!

The worst burger I have had in Colorado. Look at the nasty cheese. I ordered a bacon burger. He argued with me that I didnt. Dirty restaurant as a whole. Do not waste your time or money.

A great spot for a quick lunch. They employees are always nice, and fast with the food. Its "Hole in the wall" "greasy Spoon" so don't expect much. However its an Aurora staple, and worth a stop.

Yum hot pastrami onion ring are big, yummy

Humble simple place with television to watch new while you eat. Quick the price is right. Food like California.

Not too busy when I came in, plenty of clean tables. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and fast. They have a good selection of foods. I ordered the pastrami and I really enjoyed it I just wish there was more meat on the sandwich. I have been looking for good California style food in Colorado. I think I found my new spot.

NGL Burgers "burger special." Read my review for more details.

I'm a little torn. See, the restaurant itself seems like it has fairly great food - the breakfast burrito is massive, the gyro special looks alright, the steak special is also appealing. All of the Mexican dishes and sandwiches look awesome. But it's called "NGL Burgers". If you entered a place called "NGL Burgers", wouldn't you expect a place that specializes in, well, burgers? I ordered the burger special today, and it is with a weary heart that I say it did not live up to my standards. The patties were McDonald's-style thin, which led to them being overcooked. The burger fell apart as I picked it up because while the patties were thin, the whole burger was large in diameter. The bun was slightly burned on the top, and they didn't dry the lettuce before putting it on the burger, resulting in wet, soggy sauce dripping all over the container. "The works" on the burger included tomatoes, lettuce, regular American cheese, and uncooked onions - very generic and boring. Bite for bite, it tasted exactly the same as a Carl's Jr. Big Carl, but without the same look or quality. I think it might be because the sauce is almost an exact replica of the Carl's Jr. classic sauce, which is something of a mayo, relish, and ketchup blend. At first it was fine because I was hungry, but by the time I had consumed about 1/2 of the burger, it just got old. In fact, I was almost starting to regret the purchase. Why would anyone go out and pay $8 for a taste they could have surpassed at home? The fries are somewhere in-between steak and shoe string, so they were neither crunchy nor soggy. Nothing special. The restaurant itself looks a little old and worn down. The colors are somewhat ugly, and it wasn't a place I wanted to sit down in, so I stood as I waited for my to-go order. As I said before, all of the other menu items looked rather tasty and intriguing, but I came in looking for an awesome burger, which I didn't get. I will say though that the price is more reasonable here than at some other places I have eaten at. I will come back again and order something else next time to see how they fare in their other dishes. But if you're looking for a burger joint in Aurora, CO, you're better off hitting Fatburger just a block to the west near the SuperTarget. Now THAT was a tasty burger.

The Hubs ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich that comes with bourbon bbq sauce, creamy coleslaw and pickles, and is served with fries (although he swapped out the fries for more slaw). Everything was delicious! I had my burger cooked medium-well and it was perfect; it was still slightly pink inside and moist. While the burger was very tasty, one major plus was that it was also structurally sound (all the ingredients stayed inside the bun and the bun didn't fall apart)! The Hubs also enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. I tasted the bbq sauce and the slaw that came with his lunch and both were amazing (I dipped more of my fries into the extra bbq sauce that came with his sandwich than I did into the comeback sauce). The fries that came with the burger were crispy, not greasy and not overly salted. While I only had an iced tea with lunch, I did peruse their specialty drinks menu. Wowza, is that a read! We'll be back sometime soon for dinner so we can check that out. BTW, their food menu is more than burgers and sandwiches and there are some nice sounding items that appeal to me more for dinner than lunch (two examples (1) Hoisin Ginger Tuna: Sashimi-grade tuna seared rare, parmesan risotto, arugula slaw, (2) Pesto Cream Salmon: Pan seared salmon crusted with parmesan breadcrumbs, penne pasta, pesto cream sauce, cherry tomatoes, roasted red pepper). Despite this restaurant's location next to a boarded up vacant restaurant and being right next to I25, the interior is surprisingly nice and welcoming. And our server was friendly and helpful. So no complaints here!

It was delicious and a great departure from a typical burger. Even though the restaurant was full at 6:30 PM on Saturday, the atmosphere remained pleasant and not too loud. I sat at the bar to watch the Avalanche game, and I was very impressed by the bartenders, who were friendly and engaging with everyone. I look forward to returning soon to try another item on the menu. Keep up the great work!

Had a pretty bizarre experience here. We came in at 7:45pm on a Saturday (3 of us) and were told we…read morecould sit but the kitchen had to shut down for 45 minutes. Ok no big deal I guess - it didn't look very busy, but these things happen. We were sat and our server took our drink order right away. The cocktails were very good - I tried the Living on a Pear which was very refreshing and the rest of our party had the 1858 which they liked a lot. Once we got our drinks no one came by for 30 minutes and I had to flag someone down to bring us some water. At 30 minutes we asked if chips and guac was an option while the kitchen was "temporarily not serving food" but the server said all the fryers were full with fries so no they can't do that. Ok... so we continued to wait. It was around the 45 minute mark we were able to order so they were true to their word. This is what we ordered: - Pork Belly Bacon Scoops - these were just ok. The fries were nothing to write home about and there wasn't a lot of toppings. The pork belly bits were very small and kind of hard and chewy. The sauce was decent, but just not enough of it. - Li'l Wig - I'm sad to say this was one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I requested medium rare and I don't know what the patty is made out of it, but it resembled more like meatloaf than a burger. It was very dense and had a strong gamey taste, reminded me more of bison or venison. Idk, it was just not very good. I only took a few bites and left the rest. The brioche bun was tasty and so was the W sauce. The fries were really good and had a nice crunch. I wish the appetizer used those fries instead. The service was inconsistent. We were barely checked on until the very end when we had a few different people come by and refill waters / bring the check. We never saw our original server again. It is a nice vibe inside, great lighting and decor with both indoor and outdoor seating, but I don't think I'll be returning. The bill was $133 for 3 drinks, 1 app, and 3 burgers. Felt pretty let down leaving still hungry and over $150 in the hole (after tip). Hoping it was just a fluke and other people have better experiences there.
