I lost consciousness at the first taste, my taste buds crashed out from the overwhelming deliciousness of this sandwich. I had my first Philly cheesesteak here! We ordered four cheesesteaks as take out and Bubba's was on point. The shop itself is cute, easy to find, and there are a few parking areas nearby to leave your car as you run in for your food. We found their online ordering system to be easy to use, clear, and concise. The system also generated texts when our order was ready for pickup, which I thought was handy. Stopped by Villanova on a visit and looked for the closest place to get a cheesesteak. Bubbas popped up within a mile and so I thought to give it a try. The staff was extremely friendly upon entry and the lady behind the counter was delivering a tray full off deliciousness also know as cheesesteak. The seating can accommodate approximately 20 people or so but it wasn't packed. The smell was amazing. I ordered one regular cheesesteak, a ribeye cheesesteak with provolone and a pizza cheese. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The meat was a bit bland. I was a bit upset but did get a chocolate shake in the way out. It was damn good. Great addition to Bryn Mawr serving up good steaks. The store looks great, very clean and fresh, the black and yellow looks sharp. I ordered pickup on their website and got mine with Cooper sharp and fried onions. Plenty of meat in a good roll, nice chop, and the cheese mixed throughout. I was quite pleased. My order was ready and the counter help was very friendly and efficient. Also got a chocolate shake. I assume they have vanilla soft serve and use that as the base for all their shakes, at least that is how mine tasted, but I'll ask next time I'm there. The meat was tender, and the Cooper Sharp American cheese (my first time trying as I usually get Provolone) is the best cheese as it melts with a creamy consistency. Lastly,d the roll was perfection. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the food was underwhelming. I ordered the portabello cheesesteak and it was SO salty, almost to the point of inedible. I couldn't finish the sandwich and ended up throwing the rest in the trash. The waffle fries, on the other hand, were not seasoned at all. If only some of the salt from my sandwich had been used on the fries instead. My husband got the garlic bread cheese steak and said it was okay, but nothing special. read more

Could it have been a touch bigger? Yes, but it was very well made so I will take the quality over quantity. If you want bigger, they have a one pound cheesesteak on the menu. Had placed a large order for pick up on New Year's Eve. The order was ready on time; however, the overall responses to the food by my guests were "it was ok". Disappointed and won't order there again. The large order of wings were dried out. The cheeseburger was too small for the bun and the cheesesteaks were tough. Excellent excellent cheesesteaks and fries. (And ice! But more on that later) I haven't written a review in a while because nothing has been that inspiring, but this place is totally worth it. Everything here is super fresh and high quality, and you can taste it. I get the Ribeye Cheesesteak with onions and Cooper sharp. The meat is tender, evenly chopped, and never stringy. This time I watched them cook and the raw beef they put on that grill is juicy and bright red (looked way better than the steak I see in grocery stores these days). The roll has just the right amount of bite and chew, and stands up to this hefty pile of meat, cheese, and onions without a complaint. I think these might be one of the best AND most structurally sound cheesesteaks I've had. I ate half a few hours ago and was stuffed, but after writing this I'm going to have to go finish it. The fries are also incredible. I'm not usually a fan of crinkle cuts or waffle fries, but the presumed owner said to try the crinkles and I am a convert. They are absolutely delicious. The exterior is extra crisp and the inside is pillowy and almost creamy, a far cry from the sad and soggy crinkles of school lunches past. Perfectly salted. My mom didn't want to get any because she "doesn't really like fries", but once she smelled these she had to try. Apparently they're the best fries she's ever had, and she's 76 years old. I've also tried their fried mozzarella, and oh my god. I have always been a huge fan of the *idea* of mozzarella sticks, but in reality they're usually flabby, and the cheese either doesn't stretch at all or it all comes out at once and leaves you with a shell. These were unbelievable. They somehow had more cheese per cheese (doesn't make sense until you try them) and did not perform any of the usual mozz stick blunders. I've attached photographic proof, that stuff just keeps going. The inside is brightly lit and brightly colored. Open kitchen is the first thing you'll see when you walk in, and I recommend you watch them make the steak because that meat is beautiful. One thing that I have somehow neglected to mention is that THEY HAVE THE GOOD ICE. The pellet ice that's tender-crunchy, the kind that freaks like me talk about with reverence. There was even a New Yorker article about The Good Ice (Rosner, 2021), which isn't surprising if you know and love it. It is so hard to find, and I can't believe I just stumbled upon it here. Ice fiends, rejoice! Anyway. Check it out! This is an incredible addition to the Main Line food scene, which has been sorely lacking a good cheesesteak place for years. I ordered a ribeye cheesesteak as I did the first time I was there. The first time was excellent. Today the cheese steak was inedible. 30% of it was grizzle and fat. When I called and spoke to the manager to complain she told me "it happens sometimes." If there was decent quality control, the cook would have thrown that meat in the garbage, not on the grill. Tried their cheesesteak at the Harleysville location. There was nothing special about it. The steak was moist and tasty but the bread was terrible. If they had better bread, their cheesesteaks would be one of the top cheesesteaks in the area. So unfortunately I wouldn't recommend them over Pudge's which is only a few minutes down the road. read more

Was very happy with cheesesteak beef, was a little light on the cheese. That said they gave a ton of beef so we were super full. Peanut and shellfish allergy free except for milkshakes but those are in a separate part of the kitchen. Clean restaurant and friendly staff makes the ambiance pretty chill. Good value for cheesesteaks. Lots of chicken tenders for price. Fries were crispy but they forgot to add the cheese I asked for. Kind of annoyed by that. read more
